“First time having Rosie stay with our 2 dogs, and she was wonderful. She sent updates as well as photos. Both our dogs have their own issues. One is extremely fearful of storms, and unfortunately, there was a very bad storm that occurred while Rosie was sitting. She remained calm which in turn calmed Molly down eventually. Our other dog is a rescue and takes a while to warm up to new people. Rosie was able to get him to take his seizure meds twice a day and even slept on the bed with Rosie. By the final day he was allowing belly rubs!! Will definitely book Rosie again!”

About: We’re Pawz & Play! We offer dog boarding, weekend daycare, drop in visits, dog walking, and house sitting in Winona, MN. We operate on a small-scale, only taking a maximum of 2 pups or one family’s pets at a time. We have two medium sized young dogs who love to play & get along great with playful pups of all ages and sizes as well as an older small dog who does great with calmer pups. All dogs are assessed for play style and comfort level before being split into play groups. We incorporate your pets into our girls’ daily routine or we can do a rotation schedule if they are not a fan of group activities. Our fenced in back yard has a good size dog run within the fence just for pups and the rest of the yard includes the chickens & rabbits in their own runs as well as a small patio, hammocks, and garden beds. Whether in your home or ours, we are happy to serve your pets whatever food you’d like including homemade, raw, canned food, or kibble. We just ask that it be premade so we need only measure out the amount and feed your babies.

I enjoy playing with animals and making sure each and everyone of them gets tons of attention. I am a full time student and have a flexible schedule to attend and play your pets! About: I have been taking care of cats and dogs for a few years now. I’ve fostered cats and dogs as well! I have experience with all types of pets! I currently am going to Winona State University as a freshman. My schedule is pretty open. I’m fully open to figuring out a schedule but I will be part time! About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of pets, big and small since I was about 11 years old. Are you looking for your dog/cat’s new best friend, I’m your girl! From long walks to playing fetch, and everything in between (bathing, feeding on time, bathroom time) I’m ready for it all! I’m not as familiar with caring for elderly pets or medication, but with a little instruction, I’m a fast learner! I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pets! I’m mostly free the first half of the week (Monday to Wednesday) and weekends (Saturday and Sunday) at anytime, and Fridays after 3 pm. I’m a very patient person and am willing to fit whatever needs your pet requires. Schedules are not a problem for me, if your pet needs to use the bathroom at 6 am every morning, or food is served at 9 am, and goes on frequent walks, I’m very flexible.

Having a dog and two cats to care for of my own and currently working at a vet as a vet assistant. My days always consist of caring for animals and I wouldn’t change it for anything. At home I have another dog who gets along well with other dogs and people. I also have 2 cats but they are outdoor only and are used to dogs. I have a big house with an even bigger yard. I can take your dog on walks or hikes and they will get plenty of exercise. Inside the dog will have its own space and I can crate your dog if needed. About: I have worked with animals off and on my whole life. I’ve had four dogs growing up including my current dog. I do have experience with epilepsy since my current dog does have it. I can also help with basic training such as walking nicely on a leash. I am currently trying to find a new career so working with doggos in the meantime will help me in that journey. I am open for walks or checks in during the week, but can only do stayovers on the weekends. I unfortunately can not have pets at my current residence as it is my parents, but I am more than willing to multiple stops or even overnights for your pets. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
