About: I've had dogs for as long as I can remember. Very rarely do I find a dog or cat I can't connect with, and I am a very patient and admittedly stubborn person that just wants to be friendly with every pet I encounter. I've taken care of puppies who have worms all the way to senior dogs who gotta take their medication every day to stay healthy for as long as possible. On weekdays, I work from home 7:30AM-4PM. It's a very lax job where I can be hands off of my computer for the most part and take care of important things like pet care. Otherwise, my schedule is generally free. I'll happily watch, feed, play, walk, and take pets to go potty as often as necessary. I'll be sure to attempt to gain their trust while I'm taking care of them because they should be able to relax too while their owner is away. And if they are aloof, then I'll keep and eye on them and make sure to keep a comfortable distance.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was young. As well as taking care of many of my neighbors/ relatives animals. I have also taken care of dogs and cats young and old and I am volunteering at KC Pet Project. I’m currently a college student home for the summer and will have a part time job. I would be excited to take care of your pets in between! I feed, bathe, brush, and exercise my own dog and have since I was young. For the neighbors pets I have cleaned up and ensured they had the proper amount of food and water and giving them enrichment.

About: I have been a foster mom and adopter for 18 years. I fostered 50 dogs through a local rescue group. We have had 7 dogs, all but 1 are/ were snow dogs. I'm a part-time small animal physical therapist at ARC where we teach agility and obedience, help rehabilitate cats and dogs with injuries and provide quality of life rehab for seniors or the terminally ill. We took our last babies before they passed to ARC for quality of life, they had degenerative myelopathy and kidney disease, respectively. I fell in love with the place and became a PT. I have a soft spot for senior dogs, they deserve all the spoiling to make their golden years filled with love, comfort and adventure. To me dogs are equal to people and should be treated even better. I have a fenced in back yard and a home made for dogs. We have a four seasons room with a dog door to use. I split the house up according to where your dog is most comfortable while I'm out. We never miss our morning walk. In the summer we take dogs swimming at my in-law's pool 20 minutes in Blue Springs. We also have kiddie pools and a sandbox to discover toys. They can sleep in the bedroom, family room or patio room. If they are kennel training then in their kennel of course, which is in the very comfortable dog room. I am able to administer all types of medication, whether it be oral, injectable, or IV fluids. I am able to do dog CPR, we are also 5 minutes from our vet as well. My home is the ideal vacation spot for your furry friend. About this sitter: I'm a licensed Esthetician and have an in-home spa. I work at ARC part-time, just three afternoons a week. Clearly, I'm a huge dog lover. We previously fostered around 50 dogs for Furry Kids' Refuge. It is my life's work to stop puppy mills. I'm a very active person and enjoy outdoor activities. Why I love dog sitting Ever since, I was a child I grew up loving dogs and wanting to stop puppy mills. I always knew I wanted to work with animals in some kind of capacity. I worked on Proposition B with the Humane Society of America. I want to help people feel confident leaving their pets when away from home. About my yard I have a 1/3 acre yard fenced all the way around. We have lots of trees and outdoor dog beds to hang out on under the hammocks. We have lots of squirrels to watch and all of our neighbors have dogs. We have a small wrap around deck that connects to our 4 seasons patio room with a dog door. My experience administering medication I am trained in dispensing all types of medicine; whether it be oral or injectable. I'm also able to do IV fluids and CPR. Your dog(s) will be a part of my family while you are away. They will go about their day doing what they normally do at home. They will be free to play and not be cooped up like at a daycare or vet facility. We have a million toys to play with and a nice neighborhood to walk in and lots of places to nap. We currently have two dogs, they both came from difficult situations, but they love to play with other dogs, it's people that can be intimidating. They prefer people that bring dogs in the house. We do slow introductions. We start with a walking meet and greet around the neighborhood and then we come in the backyard with your dog off-leash to smell and then they can all meet slowly. If all the dogs like each other then I do like a day visit if you will be gone more than a few days, so that your dog is comfy here. If you will be gone more than 2 weeks I recommend a night stay beforehand. I work part-time from home in my spa and part time at ARC on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. We walk every morning and most days I head to the gym after. Perfect time for the dogs to decompress in their own areas and nap. I have a nice fenced in yard with locks on the gates. All dogs are separated by gates and have their own comfortable spaces with multiple rooms. All dogs are fed separately for safety.

About: I've worked in the field of caring for others for a long time..babies, children and/ or adults with special needs, elderly, dogs, cats, you name it! I have fostered several dogs and even a cat! I have had cats in the past. I have owned and helped care for friends and families’ dogs, cats, lizards, snakes, guinea pigs, etc. I'll be devoted to providing the best care and fun for your fur-babies as I can! I'm reliable and responsible and I love animals. I have 2 dogs and I have consistently been a hand in helping friends and family with their animals in a pinch because I love spending time with animals. I have a big heart and I love to have fun and play sessions with almost all animals. I'm very attentive of dogs' needs and care for their happiness a great deal. I love give them hugs and kisses (if they allow it)..I promise to follow all instructions as best as I can and give the best care to every animal I meet! My full time schedule is 9am to 6pm. I do house sitting, which means I will stay with your pets at night. I also do drop in visits and dog walking so my schedule books up quick, but that’s the way I like it! I also have 2 dogs that I make sure to see every day as well, and my Great Dane goes to training classes for obedience (now) and later will go for therapy. I don’t live alone so they have someone else to help me care for them so that I can Rover as much as possible :) I am flexible when caring for dogs in your home and can meet you where you’re at. I work 3 12 hour days a week, so I have plenty of time on my 4 days off to walk and help care for furry friends! I’d be happy to meet with you prior to selected services to ensure you and your pet feel comfortable with me. I’ll make sure leashes and harnesses are secure prior to walks. I’ll make sure your loved one has water and time to rest prior to departure. Any specific instructions are encouraged.
