I work as a freelance editor, so I can work from anywhere, and my schedule is very flexible. * As a big animal lover, I love the opportunity to make new furry friends. I currently have a cat (Luna), as well as having cats and dogs growing up. I’ve worked as a dog and cat sitter in Philadelphia and Kansas City for several years, and I also house/pet sit through Trusted Housesitters, a service that facilitates lodging around the world in exchange for house/pet sitting. * Through these experiences, I’m accustomed to working with a variety of types and personalities of cats and dogs, as well as caring for rescue and/or nervous pets. I’m calm and patient, diligent in following specific instructions, and committed to making sure your furry friends are healthy, comfortable, happy, and well loved even while you're away! I’m organized, reliable, and tidy, I’ll make sure your home and/or pet(s) get the respect and care they deserve so you can relax in knowing your home and beloved beasties are safe and well cared for! I’m also very communicative and am happy to provide updates and photos as frequently as you like (because there's no such thing as too many cute animal pics). My schedule is very flexible, so I can structure my days around your pet’s routine. I typically work from home during the day and sometimes run errands or go out in the afternoon/evening. I’m not usually out late or gone for more than a few hours at a time. I also love to be active, so I’m happy to walk/play with pets as much as needed. I try to maintain a routine and environment as close as possible to what pets are used to—feeding and walking at their usual times, etc. I love spending time with pets, whether that means taking a dog out on an exploration or cuddling up with a lap cat/dog, but overall I want pets to be comfortable, so I cater to each pet’s preferences and comfort levels.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. From different sizes to different breeds, I have experience taking care of dogs for family and friends. Through my previous work, I’ve developed strong skills in responsibility, communication, patience, and caring for others. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets and treat them like they’re my own! I’m currently working part-time, so have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am available M-F starting at 1:30pm (M&Th am unavailable 5-8pm). I am free most weekends, just depending on my schedule! Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. I want every pet in my care to feel comfortable, secure, and loved. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual needs and routines, and I’ll make sure they receive plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. I’m also happy to follow specific instructions, whether that means maintaining a feeding schedule, giving medications, or keeping up with a familiar routine. Most importantly, I want you to have peace of mind knowing your pet is in a safe, caring, and trustworthy environment while you’re away!

About: You can count on me to give your pup lots of love 🥰! I have cared for, lived with, and helped train dogs. At your request, I can work on basic obedience or trick training (such as sit, down, stay, spin, bow, and paw). Positive reinforcement is my mantra all the way—NO choke chains, slip leads, or shock collars 😃. I have trained my own dog several party tricks through a reward-based system. See a photo of me working with my little pup to progress him to a handstand. Please note that I have some dog allergies; little to no shedding is strongly preferred. A meet-and-greet is required to prioritize the dog’s safety and health. Vaccinations, along with flea, tick, and heartworm medications, are mandatory. As a Rover newbie with a tentative work schedule, I am happy to build up to more periodic care for your fur baby. We can start with a trial day and then advance to a couple of days before launching into a more frequent schedule. I can accommodate special requests. If you want regular updates, photos, or videos, that is no problem. Just let me know what you require 😊. The health, safety, and wellbeing of your pup is my number one priority! As a pet parent myself who has also relied on Rover, I know how stressful it can be to put your complete trust in a stranger. I am committed to frequently monitoring your fur baby while they are under my care. This can range from putting on a leash indoors to using a play pen or moving any major objects out of reach. Your wish is my command 🙂.
