Please read the below guidelines, BEFORE requesting a meet and greet to ensure I will be a good fit for you and your pup. I have owned and cared for dogs since college and it's my favorite thing to do. I have experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes as well as various dog personalities and needs. I know what it's like leaving a pet so I will make sure your pet is well taken care of and you are kept update on all the fun they are having! 🐾 Your home must be completely smoke free -inside and outside. This includes but is not limited to cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapes and marijuana in any form for any purpose. 🐾 Please make sure your pet’s profile is complete with feeding instructions, daily schedule and vet information OR have printed instructions available. 🐾 All dogs (except puppies under 1 year) must be potty trained. 🐾 All dogs (except puppies under 1 year) must be spayed or neutered. 🐾 If you live within my service radius, midday check ins are guaranteed. If you live outside my radius, it may be a challenge and I may not be the best fit for you. 🐾 For new pet parents, a meet and greet is required before booking a stay. 🐾 For safety and liability I do not “tag-team” with other sitters, neighbors, or family members, this includes roommates or other people that might live with you as well as visiting guests. The only exception to this is if I know the other Rover sitter I would be working with.

Your place, your pet, your rules. I want you to be able to leave home without the worry. Keeping your pet safe and happy are my top priorities. Visits are most successful when I know a pet’s fears, triggers and quirks. I require both regular and emergency vet information to be either in your pet’s profile or left for me. When it comes to safety there is no so thing as too much information.

Emily kept me so up to date and sent so many photos of my girl during their time together. My dog is pretty happy but she was visibly smiling in every photo Emily sent. My dog was happy and loved, I never felt out of the loop and my house was spotless when I came home. I can’t wait to use her again!
Absolute peace of mind! Emily took great care of my dear old dog during VERY HOT days. She was sensitive about nudging walks to later ("cooler") hours, asked great questions while I was gone to make sure my furball was comfortable, and sent regular updates with photos. Great communication. Wonderful care. Highly recommend!
Emily was incredible! She was communicative, sent pictures every day, and handled everything with ease and confidence. I felt like my pups were very safe in her hands. Highly recommend!!
Emily once again took care of our fur baby while we had to go out of town for the day. It is comforting to know that even if we have a long day being away from the house we can have a quick check in with Emily.

Emily was fantastic! We have a 2 year old golden retriever who is not only full of nonstop energy, but also has a long list of medications he needs to take throughout the day. Emily did a great job of managing his needs to make sure he was a happy, healthy pup while we were away for the weekend. She sent us great photos and kept us posted on his daily activities!

Schedule
I work full time in office though my job offers some flexibility. As long as you are in my service radius mid-day checks around lunchtime for a potty break and some playtime are guaranteed. If you are outside my service area, we will need to discuss further. If you are looking for someone to be with your dog all day when you are away, I may not be the best fit for you. My general schedule is leaving around 7:30am, coming back at lunch around 12:30pm and being back no later than 5pm. Depending on your location these times may vary slightly.

- There is no such thing as too many de-tails. Things that are helpful to know include your pet’s daily schedule, treat habits & limits, food allergies, eating habits when you are away, reactions to different things like thunderstorms and fireworks, furniture rules and general fears. The more I know the better I can care for your pet.
