About: I adopted my sweet Fox (Chihuahua mix) from the Oregon Humane Society over 10 years ago and he has been my best bud always by my side through all of life’s ups and downs and moves across states! My goal is to provide an environment where I would feel good about dropping my pup off at (they are our children after all!). My condo is small but there is no shortage of fuzzy blankets, pets, and walks! I current work from home, so I’m around most of the day outside of getting out for a run! I often run in the morning, during lunch, or after work but this can be flexible to suit the needs of the animals! I have a very friendly approximately 12 year old chihuahua mix. I live in a small condo but very close to walking areas and a dog park!

“Michelle is awesome! Queso had an amazing time playing with her dogs and I know this because I got so many photo and video updates during the day. I would 100% leave Queso in Michelle’s care again.”

“Arilynn is 10/10!! I needed a sitter within the out and she was available, I was so thankful. She kept me updated on how my dog was doing and was attentive to my dog’s special needs (arthritis) and my requests for her care. Thank you so much!”

“Tanya was AMAZING with regards to our pup. She went above and beyond to make our 3mo old pup feel at home. She was able to adapt to our pups needs and ensured that all of her needs were met. We even got sweet updates and photos on how she was doing :) thank you Tanya!!!”

“Amber took amazing care of Lili! This was my first Rover experience so naturally I was nervous. I was also worried because Amber had big dogs that I wasn't sure my dog would get along with. Well, I didn't need to worry at all! Amber's dogs are calm and very well trained and got along great with Lili. I LOVED getting pictures and updates. It is very clear that Amber is an experienced dog owner, and treated Lili like her own :) Lili got so much attention and love, will book again!”

About: Hi there! I’m a Veterinary Technician with 11 years of experience in small animal medicine. I’m CPR-trained and fully comfortable caring for pets with special needs- whether age related, post surgical or in need of medication administration—oral, injectable, or topical. Whether your pet needs a little extra medical attention or just lots of love and care while you’re away, you can trust that they’re in experienced and compassionate hands. I treat every pet like my own and strive to keep them happy, healthy, and stress-free in your absence. Looking forward to meeting your furry family member! Due to the nature of my job as a veterinary nurse, I have work shifts that typically keep me away for about 8–10 hours a day during my scheduled workdays. Please note that I won’t be physically present with your pet during that tim That said, I always make sure your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for before and after my shifts. I’ll also be sure to keep you updated regularly with photos and messages so you know how they’re doing. Whether your pet needs a quick check-in, medication administration, or extended care, I can fit visits into my daily routine. Your pet will be in capable, caring hands with someone who truly understands their medical and emotional needs. I look forward to meeting your furry friend! When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on maintaining their usual routine to minimize stress and keep them comfortable. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, and enrichment tailored to each pet’s personality and needs. I also keep a close eye on their health and behavior—thanks to my medical background, I can quickly spot any signs of concern. Whether it’s feeding, walking, administering medication, or just spending quality time, I aim to make your pet feel safe, happy, and well-cared-for in their own familiar space.

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats, and I have a cat of my own! I have always loved taking dogs out on walks and snuggling with cats. I have experience taking care of dogs and cats, and the odd reptile or bird, and I love getting the opportunity to gain more experience! I am available weekdays and weekends currently, and when school starts in late September, I will be available only on weekends and weekdays after 4pm. I live in an apartment complex that has a fence around the entire property. There’s a courtyard for dog walking/relief, and my apartment is pet friendly since I own a cat of my own. I walk dogs often, and feed my pets on every morning and night. I have a harness for my cat since he likes going outside, and I know not all cats like that. I give plenty of attention to my pets, and I might spoil them once in a while!

About: My dog is a female Dutch Shepherd/Malinois mix. These are working breeds and I’ve done much training with her. I’ve fostered working dogs for the past 3 years and have worked with a lot of different dogs and needs! I’ve had about 20 foster dogs who stayed anywhere from 3 to 15 months with me. When you board a dog with me, they don’t just have a place to stay, I also work on basic obedience. When your dog is with me, it’s like it’s my pup and I treat it with care, love and affection as well as set good boundaries and work on anything you’d like help with. I have a few regular clients and can provide those as reference! I work from home and only 2 1/2 days. We hike every day between 3 - 8 miles. We play and train in the backyard. I have lots of puzzles and games. If there’s a need, I’m happy to work on socialization and they can go to stores, pubs and cafes with me. If timing is right, I can take them to nose work/trailing classes at an additional charge. My girl has been such a great foster sister and done well with all the dogs I’ve brought into our home. She’s helped train foster off leash and shown them the ropes. I always do slow introductions to make sure the dogs acclimate well to each other. My yard is fenced and secure. I have multiple crates, kennels, dog beds and lots of space in the home to hang out. Dogs are allowed on furniture. Unless your dog has excellent recall, I keep dogs on leash on walks. I don’t go to super busy area to avoid running into reactive dogs. I have a specific spot in the house for feeding and dogs have their own spot. If your dog Is dog reactive, I’m able to separate dogs in the home. I usually hand feed new dogs which helps with any reactivity as well as bonding and engagement.

About: I've had and been around pets and animals ever since I was born. I have extensive farm experience with animals such as chickens, peacocks, horses, etc., and with all sizes of dogs, in all stages of life, and with all sorts of needs (such as girl dogs being in heat). I'm currently a student earning a Bachelors degree which allows me a flexible schedule. During the summer I am available both during the weekday and on weekends as I'm school-free! I have a big secluded yard and wetlands/woodlands area, as well as a friendly chocolate lab to keep company. I am also adjacent to a park with a big field for frolicking and the like. I am very good at following care instructions and making your pets feel content and at ease.

“Alexis and Care First Pets are just amazing! My dog, Pia, loves going to daycare and boarding with them. They haves helped Pia grow her confidence around other dogs, and are very communicative and easy to work with. Would recommend to everyone!”

He is getting socialized really well with other people and some other pets. Allie is a responsible young adult that I completely trust to care for my pets”

Nicole P.
“"Second to none" is how we would describe Nicole's care, knowledge, patience and love for dogs. We met Nicole through the dog rescue organization MAD Rescue (Malinois and Dutch Shepherd Rescue), where she has personally fostered over a dozen dogs and rescued so many more, including our beloved Belgian Malinois, Sassafras. We have witnessed Nicole's experience with fearful, abused, neglected and malnourished dogs, first-hand, where she has consistently shown patience, love and care for all dogs. We have also been recently fortunate to have Nicole care for Sassafras during our 2-week vacation to Europe. It was a peaceful thought knowing Sassafras was in good, loving hands. Nicole kept us regularly informed through messages, photos and videos, showing what a wonderful time our dog had with her and her dog, Ninja. Sassafras was taken on daily hikes and was able to enjoy Nicole's large, grassy backyard for play and relaxing... we suspect Sassafras had just as good a vacation as we did! Nothing more to say other than we highly recommend Nicole for the care of your dog(s).”
