We live in the Silver Beach neighborhood and have recently lost our sweet little poodle and now that our children are grown and gone, I feel I can provide a safe, reliable, and fun space for dog parents who need a sitter. I am a homemaker who enjoys, hiking, and biking and being in the outdoors. I travel to see our son who is in college at UNC but for the most part am here in Bellingham and available for dog sitting. About: Training my two aussie shepherd girls is a passion of mine, we herd sheep a couple times a week. I am proud to say I can keep up with them, although raising an aussie puppy is not for the faint of heart! They deserve adventures so I take them to new places with new smells and I would be happy to help your pup experience the world in a new way too! If you're not comfortable with that, they are safe in my home too 💚 Pet care is a full-time job and I treat it as such. Fur babies in my home get enrichment via toys, puzzles, treats and exercise- happy to train your doggo under 90lbs to use our treadmill! We go out to herd a few times a week and get outdoors every day, rain or shine :) My pets are my family. They deserve to be safe, healthy, and comfortable. About: My goal is to provide an environment where I would feel good about dropping my pup off at (they are our children after all!). My condo is small but there is no shortage of fuzzy blankets, pets, and walks! Besides my dog, I never host more than one dog in my home at a time. I adopted my dog from the shelter over 10 years ago and makes sure he had plenty of cozy places to sleep, snacks, and walks! I current work from home, so I’m generally around most of the day besides going for a run. I often run in the morning, during lunch, or after work but this can be flexible to suit the needs of the animals! About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8, and I’ve walked a lot of my neighbors dogs for money. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats overnight, and I’ve helped train my neighbors dogs. I work part time and have a workout schedule so I take them out early in the morning, late in the morning, afternoon, evening, and before bed. Longer walks are always in the morning and at night and shorter ones are more frequent during the day. I provide a safe and loving environment for every pet in my care. About: Growing up on a large property in central Washington, my family enjoyed many pets. From a young age, I've cared for cats and dogs. Though my Sundays were full of many chores-- including emptying litter boxes, walking the dogs, and scooping though the yard--I was happy to do them. I graduated from WWU this spring, and am only working part-time during the summer and school year. So, I will have plenty of time to care for and pamper your pets. I don't have any pets in my current home, but come equipped with friendly roommates and space in my neighborhood to explore with your pet when needed.

About: Since I was very young I have loved and cared for our dogs and cats. For the pups, taking them for long walks and spoiling them with toys and cuddles are among my specialties! I work part-time, I work 8-12am on wensday, Thursday and Sunday. As a school bus driver, I work 6-10 AM, then have few hours break and go back to my afternoon drive 2-6 PM. To ensure proper care for animals, I like to book clients no further than a 30 min drive from Sedro Woolley. Please take this into consideration when looking at a sitter for your pets! The school year ends June 12th and I am available until mid-July. Afterwards, I am taking time off for my own motorcycle travels (this time to Colorado) and then spend August in Europe :) I have owned cats, large dogs (100 + lbs), and horses over the years, so I'm well-versed in handling a variety of pet needs. I am comfortable around animals and can stand my ground with them. I enjoy large breeds and, having two 150Lbs + dogs before I know how hard it is to find someone to take care of them! I am available for short and long term stays in Whatcom and Skagit counties. Dogs, cats, horses, turtles and fish - all welcomed and loved! I work as a school bus driver, so I leave the house early in the morning for few hours, then have 2-4 hrs off and then drive the kids home in the afternoon, usually 2-6 pm. If this is something that will work for you and your pet family, please reach out! I usually do a greet & meet before to make sure that everyone is comfortable! I will follow the directions you give me, be it giving medication to your pets, putting it in the crate at night or when away and any other rules that you may have.

About: I specialize in large dog breeds, reactive dogs, feisty fidos, good canine citizen training, and dogs with unique needs. I am located right next to Bellevue Square and Bellevue downtown area. I am a very active person, and am able to provide a very regimented approach to your dogs care, while exceeding their mental and physical stimulation requirements. I have groomed, trained, and dog sat for neighbors and friends for years, and to name a few, I have worked with Coonhounds, Akitas, Rottweilers, Dobermans, Labs, Corgis, Shiba Inus, French bulldogs, Schnauzers, and more mixed breeds than I can count. Your time is my priority, so I am very flexible and am willing to work around your schedule to ensure your pet is taken care of. Dietary restrictions, medicines, disabilities, or other needs are welcome and can be accommodated. I have lots of availability during weekdays after 3pm, and all day during the weekends to take your dog on the adventure of a lifetime! I primarily offer dog walking and drop in services. Walks are long, active, and training/socializing is included upon request. Drop in services are thorough and tailored to make your dog feel most comfortable while you're away.

About: I have always had a passion for animals. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, we love going on hikes, going to the park, basically anything. When I'm not at work, I'm always with my girls. I have worked in an animal shelter in the past, and I would love to get more experience working with animals. Who knows, this could be the direction I end up taking my career. I have a little bit of experience with house-sitting/dog-sitting. I am very comfortable handling multiple dogs at a time. My dogs are very friendly and I don't believe I have ever met another dog that they have not gotten along with. They are getting a little grumpy in their old age, but they’re still very sweet! I was working remote and was recently laid off due to outsourcing. So I am home with my dogs every day, we go on walks around our neighborhood and go to dog parks in the area. I have an unfenced yard and 2 dogs and 2 cats. My cats are indoor/outdoor, and they are not shy with dogs. We keep dogs on a lead if they aren’t great off-leash and we have a good little spot to throw the ball.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. As the daughter of two veterinarians, I grew up working in a veterinary clinic. More recently, I worked in a dog boarding facility, so I am comfortable caring for animals of all behavior types and physical conditions. I understand how important our pets are to us and I am eager to help ! I work another part time job, and my schedule gives me plenty of openings throughout the week to stop by. I am available Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Saturday on most weeks, but my schedule is flexible. I have a car and am able and willing to drive to clients’ homes within a wide radius. I will treat your home with respect and will leave it cleaner than I left it, if you want. I cannot take care of animals in my own home but I am happy to drive to your home.

I'll start by saying that I have never boarded my pets because they travel with me full-time, but when I have to do a very long backcountry hike in the Cascades over difficult terrain that doesn't allow pets, I was lucky to find Jess last-minute to host my kitty in case I get injured and can't return to him in a timely manner. Setting: Like-minded animal lovers always hold a special place in my heart. Here, you are not going to find an immaculate, more corporate type pet-sitting kennel setup. Instead, you will find a warm, loving home cared for full-time by Jess and her family. Jessica's home has many animals. In addition to dogs to cats, she also raises farm animals of various kinds. I have no idea how all the animals find ways to live largely harmoniously together, but when I first pulled up to her home, I was greeted by many of them :) Sitting service: traveling in and around the Cascades often requires flexibility. Dark, windy mountain roads, spotty cell reception, etc make pinning down exact travel plans a challenge. Ever accommodating, Jess understood this and was so kind and reassuring while I was away. If you book your pet with her, you may find that she doesn't just care for your pet; she takes the time to learn and understand your needs and offers help whenever she can. I was upfront about being unsure of how long my hike would take. Well, it ended up taking much longer than I anticipated. Not only did she work with me on the timing of pick-up, she was so kind to offer help/advice in other thoughtful ways. Booking: If you want to work with (and have your hard-earned dollars go toward supporting a local small business service), consider reaching out to Jessica, clearly communicate your needs/pet peeves. “Puppies spent a relaxing evening with Karrin and her pups after taking their walks around the grounds and getting their energy out. Alice and her aging Lola poodle snuggled together on the couch like 2 little old ladies watching the young pups figure life out. She sent me pictures again like she did the day before and was very conscientious about everything concerning the dogs. I highly recommend her. She communicates quickly on the app and is on time and the only time she was late is because my dogs were finally ready to eat their usual amount of food and ate their full breakfast in the morning and made her late, she wasn’t going to stop them from eating after they had hardly eaten anything for 3 days. We had talked about how much food that they had consumed, or lack there of, between us during our conversations. So she knew when they finally began to chow down like she saw she wasn’t going to stop them, that’s a great sitter to me, I wouldn’t make my dog drop off time that close to a flight time etc.., if you did, that’s on you not her, I digress, she’s awesome, like she said, this is a sign that the dogs feel comfortable. When they eat. I will definitely use her again. I hope you do too!”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8, and I’ve walked a lot of my neighbors dogs for money. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats overnight, and I’ve helped train my neighbors dogs. I work part time and have a workout schedule so I take them out early in the morning, late in the morning, afternoon, evening, and before bed. Longer walks are always in the morning and at night and shorter ones are more frequent during the day. I provide a safe and loving environment for every pet in my care. I have a friendly dog who enjoys meeting new friends, and pets are always supervised and treated like family. While I don’t have a yard, I make sure dogs get plenty of walks, exercise and attention. For house sitting and drop in visits, I follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, medications, and lots of affection. I live with my grandma in a calm, pet friendly home and am committed to keeping your pets happy, comfortable, and safe while you’re away.
