About: Hi there fur families! I've always had an affinity for all living creatures but especially dogs. I understand the importance of connection through play, maintaining a positive, bonding relationship, and how to make them feel loved and welcome. About: Training my two aussie shepherd girls is a passion of mine, we herd sheep a couple times a week. I am proud to say I can keep up with them, although raising an aussie puppy is not for the faint of heart! They deserve adventures so I take them to new places with new smells and I would be happy to help your pup experience the world in a new way too! If you're not comfortable with that, they are safe in my home too 💚 Pet care is a full-time job and I treat it as such. Fur babies in my home get enrichment via toys, puzzles, treats and exercise- happy to train your doggo under 90lbs to use our treadmill! We go out to herd a few times a week and get outdoors every day, rain or shine :) My pets are my family. They deserve to be safe, healthy, and comfortable. About: My goal is to provide an environment where I would feel good about dropping my pup off at (they are our children after all!). My condo is small but there is no shortage of fuzzy blankets, pets, and walks! Besides my dog, I never host more than one dog in my home at a time. About: I have always had dogs! We live in the Silver Beach neighborhood and have recently lost our sweet little poodle and now that our children are grown and gone, I feel I can provide a safe, reliable, and fun space for dog parents who need a sitter. I'm home much of the time so my pets get a lot of attention and care, are fed on schedule, and I'm up to date on all vaccinations. My home is clean, cozy and safe.

About: I grew up with dogs and have had at least one of my own for the last 20 years. They truly are the best friends! We have a sweet 3-year old rescue poodle mix, Mimi, who does really well with other dogs. We'd love to have your dog or cat stay with us and join in our walks and hikes and cuddles! I have had a reactive/leash reactive dog and as much as I know they can be the sweetest pups when on their own, I can't take on these dogs anymore. It creates too much anxiety for me. I live on a street where there is a constant flow of neighbor dogs both on and off leash and the trails are packed with dogs these days so it's a guarantee we will meet other dogs while we are out and about. I work from home and love to get outside and explore the beautiful trails around Bellingham. When not out sniffing the trails me and your pet will be snuggled up relaxing together. There is a fence area for visiting pets to relieve themselves (it includes about 10 stairs). I love to hike and walk and will make sure your pet gets all the movement they need. I love to snuggle too so when not out and about you can rest assured that your pet is getting lots of love and cuddles.
About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was a kid, and to this day, I'm the go-to pet sitter in my family. I have a small dog who’s 4 years old and is very friendly with other dogs, cats, kids, and more. I’ve had him since he was a puppy and personally potty trained him, so I have plenty of experience with puppies. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and currently am a professional dog whelper for several breeders, can administer medications, can watch puppies or Pregnant females as well. Currently work from home so I’m available anytime after 10 am can do earlier just need to be advised in advance and can also watch weekends if planned in advanced. The school year ends June 12th and I am available until mid-July. Afterwards, I am taking time off for my own motorcycle travels (this time to Colorado) and then spend August in Europe :) I have owned cats, large dogs (100 + lbs), and horses over the years, so I'm well-versed in handling a variety of pet needs. I am comfortable around animals and can stand my ground with them. I enjoy large breeds and, having two 150Lbs + dogs before I know how hard it is to find someone to take care of them! I am available for short and long term stays in Whatcom and Skagit counties. Dogs, cats, horses, turtles and fish - all welcomed and loved! I work as a school bus driver, so I leave the house early in the morning for few hours, then have 2-4 hrs off and then drive the kids home in the afternoon, usually 2-6 pm. If this is something that will work for you and your pet family, please reach out! I usually do a greet & meet before to make sure that everyone is comfortable! I will follow the directions you give me, be it giving medication to your pets, putting it in the crate at night or when away and any other rules that you may have.
About: Since I was very young I have loved and cared for our dogs and cats. For the pups, taking them for long walks and spoiling them with toys and cuddles are among my specialties! For my cats, they are the lucky recipients of lots and lots of petting, cat toys and of course their favorite meals. I have an open schedule and can stop in for regular, long dog walks or stay over for overnight pet sitting and for any pet needs in between. I have experience with all ages and all sizes of dogs and cats and like to know all of your pet's favorite things and quirk so I can make my time with them super comfotable and fun. I am far away from home and miss my animals, now Rover gives me that chance to share my love of pets with others! I have time in the mornings and evenings to play, feed, and walk the pups. I never leave a dog for longer than 8 hours but I try to make 6 the max. In my own home it’s important to make sure they have some pieces of their home like toys, a bed, and a space to feel comfortable. In your home, I know it’s their space not mine. I care a lot about respecting others’ space.

About: Hi there fur families! I've always had an affinity for all living creatures but especially dogs. I understand the importance of connection through play, maintaining a positive, bonding relationship, and how to make them feel loved and welcome. I believe in making sure that dogs are truly understood in their own language (smells, sounds, signals, and treats!). I can be very comfortable in your home or make your pet comfortable in mine and make sure your pet won't miss you too much while you're gone. I'll be attentive to their needs and keep them engaged and out of trouble while having fun adventures at the same time. Animals in general, and dogs in particular, are one of the few things that truly brings joy to my life. I'm readily available 5 days a week to get out and give your pet the care they need, either in my home or in yours. I have a secure home with plenty of safety controls in place plus the experience in handling and animal behaviors to know how to keep dogs large and small from getting into anything they shouldn't and keeping their daily adventures to a safe and sound level.
About: I have always had a passion for animals. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, we love going on hikes, going to the park, basically anything. When I'm not at work, I'm always with my girls. I have worked in an animal shelter in the past, and I would love to get more experience working with animals. Who knows, this could be the direction I end up taking my career. I have a little bit of experience with house-sitting/dog-sitting. I am very comfortable handling multiple dogs at a time. My dogs are very friendly and I don't believe I have ever met another dog that they have not gotten along with. They are getting a little grumpy in their old age, but they’re still very sweet! I was working remote and was recently laid off due to outsourcing. So I am home with my dogs every day, we go on walks around our neighborhood and go to dog parks in the area. I have an unfenced yard and 2 dogs and 2 cats. My cats are indoor/outdoor, and they are not shy with dogs. We keep dogs on a lead if they aren’t great off-leash and we have a good little spot to throw the ball.

About: I absolutely adore animals, especially dogs. I love training them and being with them. I consider myself to have a lot of patience and understanding with dogs and I do well with all sorts of pups, including overreactive, high-energy, and loud ones. I work full time as a behavioral caregiver for developmentally disabled adults, and currently my work schedule is a little inconsistent, however I am committed to keeping my schedule updated two weeks in advance so that booking is seamless and easy. I currently am unable to care for pets in my own home but I am happy to stay with animals as long as needed. I have a car and I am happy to transport to dog parks, or just walk around neighborhoods. About: I have owned and taken care of pets since I was a little kid, ranging from mini Australian shepherds to retrievers, labs and German shepherds. This means I have experience training young puppies and taking care of senior dogs. I also have experience with taking dogs on runs (since I love to run), which helps with high-energy dogs. About: I’ve taken care of pets before, staying over at a clients house to care for them day and night. Getting up at specific times when they’re used to getting fed, taking dogs for walks, playing with them, brushing them, etc. I have loved animals since I was a kid, and have grown up with cats my whole life. I work part time as a nanny so some days I would be gone for a few hours but complete open availability in the evening. I have an unfenced yard not near a road. I work from home and have a large, fully fenced backyard with a high fence for added security. I also have a screened/mosquito-net door that allows me to keep the door open during the day while I work, giving the dogs easy access to fresh air and the yard while remaining safely enclosed. My desk has a full view of the backyard, so I can keep a close eye on everyone throughout the day. Of course, if you prefer that your dog not have access through the open screened door, I'm happy to keep the main door closed and follow whatever routine makes you most comfortable. I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your pet with someone else, and I'll treat your dog with the same care, attention, and affection that I give my own. -I work remotely Monday-Friday from 7-3:30 -I do tend to stay busy out of the house after 5pm for errands or a gym class a few times a week but no day is the same -Typically in the mountains one day out of the weekend I can be decently flexible during the week but I might NOT be the best fit if: -I can’t leave your dog at my house for 1.5 hours after work if I go to the gym or run an errand -If you need care past 8:00pm because that’s typically my bedtime… but I can be flexible. -Your dog doesn’t get along well with others …Otherwise, let’s do this! About: I grew up with dogs and cats, and have been a pet parent throughout adulthood. I have a deep love and affection for animals, and often look after the pets of family and friends as their trusted caretaker. I call myself a "whisperer" because I feel I've always known how to 'communicate' with domesticated animals and earn their trust. I'm an adjunct instructor at WWU with enough flexibility in my schedule to be available for pet care most of the time. As I considered alternative work for myself, I thought I should consider what I love to do, and pet sitting/dog walking feels like a great fit for me. I currently have a 2 year old female rescue dog who I'm 90% sure is a puggle, and 2 beautiful male cats. Traditionally I've owned boxers, but I love both big and small dogs of all kinds, puppies to seniors, as well as cats and most other pets (perhaps not insects...!). I'm reliable, friendly, patient, and love to walk, so frequent or long dog walks suit me fine. I have a flexible schedule and am available to look after your fur babies day and/or night, including day care, drop ins, boarding and house sitting. I have a pet-friendly home with a fenced yard in a safe neighborhood with parks and trails close by. I'm home much of the time so my pets get a lot of attention and care, are fed on schedule, and I'm up to date on all vaccinations. My home is clean, cozy and safe.
