About: I'm a devoted Dog Auntie to a spirited Mini-Aussie, two lovable Labs, and even four horses! My heart still holds a special place for my Puggle rescue, Henry, who was my adventure buddy across three states and a cherished therapy dog for seniors until his passing in 2021. With over 25 years of experience, I connect instantly with dogs of all ages and personalities. From training playful puppies to providing compassionate care for senior dogs, I’ve done it all—including guiding my Puggle Henry in his professional training. Your furry friend will be treated like family in my care, with plenty of love, fun, and attention. Expect fetch sessions, refreshing walks, and cozy snuggles! Book with me for peace of mind knowing your pup is in experienced, caring hands. I'm currently a freelance writer who works from anywhere: cafes, coffee shops and even your couch. This enables me to pop in for a walk during the day or spend the weekend (or longer) with your dog while you're away. I live in a tiny home with very little space, so while I will consider watching your fur baby in my home, I believe they would be more comfortable in their environment. I have been pet sitting in the valley for several months now, and have excellent references.

“Michael was great with our very energetic doodle Cooper. He was very reliable and great with communication. I loved receiving all the updates each day which made me feel at ease while we were away on vacation.”

“Lizz saved the day for us! We had a family emergency come up and had to leave town last minute. Lizz was able to cover all the walks in our absence. She gave us great feedback and won over our shy pup. Highly recommend.”

About: I began volunteering at my city's animal shelter at the age of thirteen, dog walking, and I quickly began taking on more responsibilities at the shelter from there. By the time I was fifteen, I was volunteering in vet services, helping with adoption events, and doing critter care, where I socialized and took care of small animals like rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, and mice. During my time as a volunteer, I began a veterinary assisting program. I spent five days a week providing care to dogs, cats, horses, and rodents while learning proper medical procedures. Within that care, I attentively followed tailored feeding and kenneling instructions meant to keep the animals safe and healthy. Through my time at my tech school, I gained my OSHA 10 healthcare-focused certification, my HIV, Bloodborne Pathogen certification, and I graduated with my veterinary assisting certification. After graduating, I began working at my city's animal shelter as a Student Day Laborer and Veterinary Assistant, as well as pet sitting for people living in and around my city. At the animal shelter, I handled dogs with various behavioral challenges, including nipping, jumping, barking, pulling, lunging, and multiple kinds of reactivity. I maintained a clean and tidy environment by cleaning up many kinds of bodily fluids and parasites to ensure the comfort and health of the animals. During my time there, I fostered several dogs from the euthanasia list to provide them with proper enrichment and training to make them less frustrated and more adoptable. I have experience providing medical care and enrichment to puppies as young as three weeks old and senior dogs. I am a college student, but I am currently on summer break, so I am available every day except for Thursdays and Fridays. I am very flexible with my schedule when it comes to work and am willing to work with people on timing. I am capable of providing medical care and following specific feeding instructions that have been provided to me by the owner. I provide appropriate enrichment and exercise for different age ranges and breeds.

About: I've taken care of dogs who love everyone and those who are as choosy as cats in their people. I share my home with four cats, each one with their own style of pets and play (and their own diets). Every animal, just like every person, has their own personality. My goal is to pay attention and interact with them in a way that makes them feel safe, loved, and...if they're up for it...entertained. Need someone to walk your canine companions for a couple miles and then follow detailed instructions on which doggo gets what food and treats? That's me. Does your cat need someone to feed it and then sit in quietly in the same room for company without insisting on pets? That's me, too. Additionally, I have experience with administering medication to both cats and dogs (pills, inhalers, injections). I'm a remote-first professional, so my schedule is fairly flexible. Animals thrive with consistent routines, so I make a point to arrive on time and follow all owner directions. I regularly book between 7 AM and 9 PM, but currently my schedule is tight. Morning appointments are available if timing is flexible +\- a couple hours. My goal is to ensure that pets feel as safe and loved. Animals thrive on routine, so I'll be on time and follow your directions to ensure as much normalcy as possible while you're away. I have four cats, all of whom have different diets, play styles, and stranger tolerance, so I'm used to paying close attention to details. I'll earn your pets' trust by following your directions and adapting my approach to their needs. As a pet parent, I understand the importance of knowing how your companions are doing while you're away. I'll always check in with you and include pictures and updates. I'll never hesitate to reach out if I have any concerns or questions. While your pet is in my care, they are my number one priority.

“Autumn did a great job getting nico to feel comfortable and trusting and left nicely detailed notes. I had a family emergency and had to get a dog walker quickly and Autumn was very flexible and helpful. Thank you!”

“My boy Zero loved his walk with Erin! Great communication before, during, and after their walk together. I was sent plenty of photos to warm my heart while I was stuck at work. I would highly recommend Erin for any of your pet related needs :)”

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats, and I have a cat of my own! I have always loved taking dogs out on walks and snuggling with cats. I have experience taking care of dogs and cats, and the odd reptile or bird, and I love getting the opportunity to gain more experience! I am available weekdays and weekends currently, and when school starts in late September, I will be available only on weekends and weekdays after 4pm. I live in an apartment complex that has a fence around the entire property. There’s a courtyard for dog walking/relief, and my apartment is pet friendly since I own a cat of my own. I walk dogs often, and feed my pets on every morning and night. I have a harness for my cat since he likes going outside, and I know not all cats like that. I give plenty of attention to my pets, and I might spoil them once in a while!

About: Hello! My name is Lauren and I have been taking care of animals on and off since I was a little girl. I have sat for puppies, seniors, cats, dogs, and everything in between. I have a bird and three dogs of my own, including a Saint Bernard. I love animals and I am hoping to get to meet some new ones before my graduation. I am a running start student so my weekdays are very flexible and open. I work at a daycare center on Sunday mornings, but aside from that, my weekends are completely free. Because of my flexible schedule, I am able to take pets on walks/potty breaks as often as needed. I always make an effort to tidy up toys or the home in general before leaving and I am very comfortable crating/feeding/playing with dogs of any size.

About: I've had dogs my whole life. I currently dog sit for my daughter's dog (a 2 year old golden retriever) and I would love to walk and/or take care of your dogs too! Retired with lots of free time! I have a flexible job and love getting outdoors and walking, so having a dog with me sounds great. I have a fenced yard and am comfortable walking on leashes with harnesses. Happy to do whatever makes your dogs comfortable, just let me know.

About: I’ve always loved animals, dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, etc., since before I could talk! They are my passion, and my goal is to study and become a veterinarian. I’m currently an unemployed college student, so I am able to dedicate lots of time and energy into your pet! I am committed to the wellbeing of the owner and pet. I have two dogs, a cat, and three fish tanks at home. They all have my full attention, as I am very detail oriented when it comes to animals. I enjoy walking my dogs, cuddling quietly with my cat, and cleaning and watching my fish tanks.

About: I love animals, I recently find myself without a K9 companion and figured I could share my time and love with those who need it. My dad is a vet and I also work at the clinic he owns so they’ll be in good hands. I love spending time outdoors or just relaxing and giving all the pets I work Monday through Thursday 7:30-5:30 at the vet clinic. I’m free after work for walks and I’m fine with doing stuff on the weekend that gets me out of the house I have 2 cats at home that are mine but I’ve had many dogs in my life. Before I moved to Washington I had a German Shepard that got lots of exercise and homemade food. I currently live with my parents and they have 7 dogs that range in size from a shitzu to 2 Anatolian shepards so I can handle any size of dog

About: I've been an animal person my entire life. When I was in grad school at Western several years ago, I worked part-time for a local pet-sitting business, The Placid Pet, where I enjoyed four wonderful years of looking after client dogs and cats. Currently, I am a full-time writer seeking healthy activities to supplement the hours I spend in front of a computer. What better way to get that activity than to hang out with awesome dogs and provide my fellow Bellinghamsters with the peace of mind that comes with knowing your furry family member is happy and well taken care of? As a former college athlete and life-long hiker, I'm in good shape for whatever activity your dog needs. I'm available for short or long walks in your neighborhood or at a nearby park or trail of your choosing, and I'm also happy to stop in and snuggle with your anxious pet for as long as he or she needs. I've taken an animal CPR training course in the past and plan a refresher course in the near future. Your dog's health and well-being is of utmost importance to me, and as a former professional dog walker, I have the skills and experience to keep your pet safe and happy during my visits. As a writer, my time is flexible, so I can be available in the mornings, at lunch, or in the early afternoon on a regular basis. I coach soccer on the weekends, but an occasional Sunday visit might be possible as needed. I am experienced entering client homes to render service, and as someone who has lived with escape-artist pets, I am also accustomed to entering homes carefully to make sure even the wiliest of pets doesn't escape. My car has a dog gate in back so that your pet can travel safely, should you choose for me to take them to a park or trail.

“Heather is the real dog whisperer! I was in a pickle and needed a new sitter ASAP. Recommended by my neighbor, I reached out 24 hours hours before leaving. After a very quick response, she was here and meeting the fam. Three dogs with three vastly different personalities, she won over the toughest cookie of the bunch within 24 hours. I finally found someone I feel 100% comfortable with when I travel! So very grateful to have find this gem of a human. If you need a sitter - stop looking. She's the one!”

“I had an early morning job and needed help with my pup on short notice. Thankfully Brooke was happy to help out and took my boy Zero for a nice morning walk. I would highly recommend Brooke for anyone in need of pet related services. Zero says 5 stars!”

About: Hi there fur families! I've always had an affinity for all living creatures but especially dogs. I understand the importance of connection through play, maintaining a positive, bonding relationship, and how to make them feel loved and welcome. I believe in making sure that dogs are truly understood in their own language (smells, sounds, signals, and treats!). I can be very comfortable in your home or make your pet comfortable in mine and make sure your pet won't miss you too much while you're gone. I'll be attentive to their needs and keep them engaged and out of trouble while having fun adventures at the same time. Animals in general, and dogs in particular, are one of the few things that truly brings joy to my life. I'm readily available 6 days a week to get out and give your pet the care they need, either in my home or in yours. I have a secure home with plenty of safety controls in place plus the experience in handling and animal behaviors to know how to keep dogs large and small from getting into anything they shouldn't and keeping their daily adventures to a safe and sound level.

About: I have been pet sitting on & off for six years now. This is by far the best job in the world because I get to love and take care of animals. I'm the type of person that if I don't know something I am confident I can learn it. I pride myself in providing the best care and support and am always looking for feedback. I'm currently not working as I just graduated graduate school so my schedule is wide open. Let me know when I'm needed and I will be there! My first priority is keeping your dog safe therefore being intentional about making sure any exits are secure both while I am there and when I leave. I am also a clean and respectful person who takes being in other peoples spaces very seriously. My motto is to leave spaces the same as when I first entered them!

Donald C.
“Don watched my golden retriever, Daisy, while my husband and I were out of town, and she clearly had a blast! We got regular updates from him about how Daisy was doing, how she was eating, and what they did every day. She had a great time with him going on 3-4 walks a day (more than I get to take her!), playing tug as much as she wanted, and getting all the treats and pets. Don also kept our house spotless - we could barely tell that we had someone in our home. I will be a repeat customer!”

Marley E.
“Marley has stayed overnight and dropped in on my two cats and my older chocolate lab a few times and she did a good job at following my instructions and building a relationship with my otherwise reproachful cats. I will definitely keep her as a pet sitter and recommend her service.”

Antonina M.

“Antonina was professional, courteous, and did great with Cody! I can tell from the pictures how much he enjoyed his walk!”

“You will not find a more caring and thoughtful dog walker than Jenny! I first met her in 2007 when she walked my greyhound multiple days a week. She left thorough notes every day and we got to know each other through check in phone calls. We have become good friends over the years and our families have become close as well. During a tough time for my family last year she volunteered to come walk my handful of a terrier every other day for months, also working with him on training. She is a true gem and I recommend her 100%!”
