About: I’ve stayed in houses caring for multiple pets such as dogs and cats. One home had 5 dogs, 2 whom were blind, and all puppies used pads to use the restroom. All puppies had a specific eating regimen that I had no problem taking notes on and catering to. I’ve dropped in to feed cats, but being a cat mom myself, I do not mind spending quality time with the kitties! I’m a middle school teacher, so pet sitting is reserved for after school hours, during Fall, Winter, and/or Summer breaks. I’m flexible and communicate often and quickly! For my personal cats, I spoil them like crazy! They have all of the toys they could ask for and I play with them often. I can tell when they’re ready to cuddle and relax, and I love this time! They take a nap on my lap and I get to crochet! I love on others pets the same way. If there’s a treat station and a favorite toy, let me know so I can spoil the clients pets too! I’ve watched plenty of older pets who just need a companion to sit on the couch with them, so I always bring my crochet things to fill the time.

She updated me throughout the weekend to let me know how the dogs were doing. One of our dogs had gotten sick a few days before she arrived so she took special care to keep a close eye on him and make sure he was doing okay which I really appreciated. The house was also spotless when we got home and the dogs seemed very content and happy so I could tell they had been well cared for. I would welcome Megan back any time and definitely recommend her for your sitting needs! 22 Nov - 25 Nov 2023 This is the second time Megan has sat for us, and we were thrilled to have her back with Abby for another visit! Megan is so responsive and easy to coordinate plans with. We were so glad they were able to stay here over the Thanksgiving holiday and take great care of our two dogs while we were with family. They kept us updated every day and the dogs seemed very happy and content when we got home so I could tell they were well taken care of and got lots of love. I allowe her to stay in my home and in return she takes care of my two dogs, (German Shepard and Australian Shepard) Cleans the house, and alerts me of any thing that I need to know of. I have never felt like I had a need to lock up or hide any of my possessions because Megan really is the most trustworthy and reliable person I know. I have given her a key of her own to keep in case of any emergency. I've seen dogs become less anxious when they are staying in their own home, in the neighborhood they know. They know you will eventually return and they dont need the transition time it takes for them to become comfortable in a unfamilar place. For that reason, I do like to promote house sitting as the least stressful method of boarding for nervious pets. Please let me know if you require any plants to watered as id be happy to help you in any other way I can. I prefer to keep my bookings to one dog or one family at a time. This is to ensure I give each dog my full attention to keep them safe and happy while yall are missing eachother! This means that I prefer walking in quiet neighborhoods instead of a park with more distractions so I can get familiar with your dog's responses and they can get familiar with me during our first few walks together. After a few walks, and your permission, we can go to dog parks where we slowly work up to being unleased. I strive for 2 or more walks a day during the summer, 3 or more walks a day during spring, fall, and winter. When we arent walking or playing outside, me and your pets will be chilling inside with 2 or more feedings a day. If you book on a holiday it is likely I will have freeze dried chicken or salmon wet food to give your pet as a special holiday treat! I feel that if its a human holiday, its also a special day for our pets because they're family.
