Neighbors and friends have trusted me with caring for their pets since I was 12 years old. I have enough experience to identify signs of distress in an emergency and can also apply basic training methods in a warranted situation while walking a dog on a leash in order to keep everyone safe.

About: Hello! I’m Mekenna. I’m 24 and I’ve taken care of animals all growing up! I’ve house/dog sat for friends and family since i was 15. I currently give my cat medication everyday and i have experience giving dogs medication and an IV. I’m very comfortable watching dogs of all sizes and ages! Ive pet sat ranging anywhere from 2 days to 1 month. And I’m very excited to meet your beloved pets:) I’m currently working very part time so I’m available most weekdays for walks and i can be very flexible for any house/pet sitting. About: I grew up with lots of animals in my house my whole entire life. Everything from birds, reptiles, fish to basic ones such as cats and dogs. In summer I was on farm with horses, cows, pigs, chickens and much more. I have been watching dogs for as long as I remember. Both in my house as well as other homes. I do rescues for a company that specializes in pit bulls. I love to spend time, play, teach and get to know the four legged friends. About: I have experience with many different dog breeds with different energy and health needs. I give all of the animals under my care the same treatment. I would take care of a super senior cat with the same dedication I would a golden retriever puppy. I'm not squeamish at all either, I'm comfortable dealing with body fluids and administering injection and medications. I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters so i've seen it all! Currently, my only commitments are helping to babysit younger family members, which is flexible schedule and only part-time. I have lots of time to not only take care of your animals, but also play with them and give them good entertainment My own dog is a runner, so I am hypervigilant about making sure animals don't dart out doors. I always make sure I physically see the animal and watch them to make sure they look healthy and happy, I don't just leave food and water and go home.
