Is your favorite dog scratching at the door with energy to burn? Don’t worry because we’ve got you and your tail-wagging bestie covered when it comes to dog-friendly places in Bend to run, fetch, and even swim.

Bend is an excessively dog-friendly city. Even their tourism information site has a section for pet travel to Bend.

Bend offers thirteen off-leash areas, and we’ve highlighted a few of our favorites below. The city also has excellent hiking and walking paths, most of them great for dogs, including ones with river access for water-loving pups.   • Great place for a run with your energetic pup
  • Five acres of off-leash trails
  • Minimal fencing, so recommended for dogs with good recall
  • Natural terrain surrounds the reservoir
  • Bring your own poop bags and water
