20. Juliana & Richmond L.
About: We believe every dog should be treated like another human member of the family! Dogs are so special to us and have been part of our relationship since we met and fell in love in 2014. Back then, Richmond had Roscoe (a Lhasa Apso) and I fell in love with him too. Now we can't imagine ourselves without dogs! They make life better, with their wiggly butts, sloppy kisses, and unconditional love. These days we have 2 goofy goldendoodles that we adore: one is a young male puppy named Tui and the other a 4-year-old female named Ria. We've trained both Tui and Ria, really enjoy the teaching/training process (even if it does get a bit messy at times), and would be happy to have puppy guests at our house! Although we're not professional vet techs, we've also had years of disabled pet care experience. Our last dog Roscoe, who passed in 2023, was blind and diabetic and needed two shots of insulin per day. So if your pet needs a bit of extra supervision, we're here for them. We both work from home and have lots of flexibility to give your pets the love, care, and attention they need while you're away. We can't wait to meet your pups! For cat parents: both of us are allergic to cats and are unable to board cats at this time. My husband and I both work from home, so we're able to give pups extra attention, which is especially helpful for senior dogs with special needs and for puppies who need extra potty breaks! We have two goofy goldendoodles that are VERY friendly with other dogs and can keep your dogs company. Our dogs sleep in our bedroom, puppy in the crate and Ria on the bed, and can accommodate whatever sleeping arrangements your pup is comfortable with. Although we don't have a fenced yard, we have an easy-access outdoor potty area. We also live only a couple of blocks from Overturf Park, a popular dog park in the area, and a 5-minute drive from Discovery Park. We also take our dogs to Meadow Camp for riverside romps, but will only take your pups off-leash if you say it's okay. We always take extra time to train up our dogs, a few minutes here and there each day, and will do the same for your pups to reinforce good habits/behavior. We also have plenty of toys to share with them so they feel right at home! Note: we do have a young male puppy if your adult dogs has any aggression issues.
