  • Not a substitute for professional veterinary help.

Cool and creamy, this simple blended treat for dogs combines two standard breakfast ingredients: cantaloupe and yogurt. If you’re hosting a fancy summer weekend brunch for your closest friends, this whipped creation is an easy and elegant option for any lucky pups also attending.

If rosemary potatoes are on the menu, save a few springs to top this cooler and snap a photo for Instagram. What is weekend brunch without a good photoshoot?

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen cantaloupe
  • 1/2 cup non-fat yogurt
  • Fresh rosemary for garnish

We used non-fat yogurt, but you can use whatever your dog (and you!) prefers for the creamy base ingredient. Other options include goat milk, coconut milk, or regular milk if your dog’s digestion allows it.

Instructions

Combine cantaloupe and yogurt in the blender and pulse until smooth.

Pour into serving bowls and garnish with a petite sprig of rosemary if you’re feeling fancy.
