While searching I came across Jef’s profile and I decided to go with him in booking dog walking for my three dogs. Jef even came to meet my dogs before he was to begin walking them the following day. From the initial message to the first time meeting, Jef maintained great communication and updated me each day after their walks. Jef definitely has something about him that made my dogs very comfortable around him. He quickly gained their trust and vice versa. Jef is also very persistent and knowledgeable in training dogs and helping to improve any bad leash habits. About: I am a dog owner of 2 German shepherds and previously I had 2 black labs. I have trained them all to be off leash walkers and very well mannered in public areas. My love for animals is dramatic and I aspire to give the affection to more animals than I can contain in my own home. I am a stay at home mom so I am home all day every day. Our weekend are typically free outside of an arcade visit on some Saturdays. I am vigilant in my efforts to keep dogs safety and happiness my top priority. I’m very comfortable with any animal you may own with four legs and have experience in providing care for special needs dogs including giving medication as needed. Currently I am in my off season waiting for the fire season to start back up in June. I have had several dogs with different energy levels - from a crazy Jack Russell to a super sweet golden retriever. I am very patient and most of my dogs have been rescues. Stan came from an animal testing facility & had never been outside or touched grass when I rescued him. I work remotely from home with a really flexible schedule. About: I've got 23 years of veterinary technician experience as well as petsitting experience. I also worked for an organization that rescues Cocker Spaniels for 3 years. I was the manager and I took care of 25 dogs at a time as well as 2 horses, 2 goats, 2 pigs, 4 roosters, and a feral cat colony. I fed all the animals, cleaned their living quarters, picked up the yards, bathed as well as shave them if needed, nail trims, sanitary clips, administered medications of all types, did basic training with them, went to vet appointments if needed, laundry, and walked them. Being in the veterinary field has been a blessing for many clients whom have hired me to care for their furry babies because I am more attune at things many people may not notice. Clients are very grateful for that knowledge. I also water plants and clean houses and bring in mail for overnight stays. I am currently a stay at home mom with lots of time to spare. I've always juggled pet care and my family with no issues. I follow the instructions the client gives me no matter what. If they want the dog to wear a harness while.out for walks, then that's what I will do. If they don't want the dog left unattended outside even though they have a fenced in yard, then I'll stay out with them for as long as needed. I always do a parameter check to make sure there are no holes in the ground for the dog to have access to escape.
