My cat is also the most spoiled guy you will ever meet so trust me I understand all the little important details that these guys and girls need! I work part time and my schedule varies. If you pet prefers to sleep in a crate we have plenty of space, but I would love to share my bed. My dog did fine he’s 5 years old mini Aussie who really isn’t dog friendly but did well . Angie is very sweet but maybe a little older 76 and doesn’t move that fast,Maybe not large active dog. I am free weekdays and weekends and am open to staying at a home for multiple days. About: My own dog, Zeus, who was a German Shepard, had developed hip dysplasia in his elder years. He passed in 2024 but in his last years of life I learned to properly administer his two medications, and was able to trick him into taking them when he was stubborn, which was all of the time. I cleaned up after him while my parents were away and sat with him when he was anxious, which again, was all of the time. I took him on walks when he was younger and was able to handle his strength. I adore dogs and understand the stress of leaving a special needs dog by themselves. If you need a calm energy for your senior dog, or playfulness for your puppy, I'm your guy. At the moment I am still looking for a full or part time job, so my days and nights are completely open for those who need a sitter. I will care for your dog by first making sure they have their nessecities, food, water, medication, and a bathroom break. If we go on a walk I will make sure their harness and leash are secure, and am willing to walk however long your dog wishes to walk. When we come back to your home I will make sure he is uninjured, no issues with the feet or body if we go to a dog park. I am willing to do anything and everything to ensure the safety and health of a dog.

While searching I came across Jef’s profile and I decided to go with him in booking dog walking for my three dogs. Jef even came to meet my dogs before he was to begin walking them the following day. From the initial message to the first time meeting, Jef maintained great communication and updated me each day after their walks. I recently transferred with my job from the East Coast to Utah, and now reside in Northern California and currently frequent the Humane Society to visit with the cats and dogs waiting for homes. About: Although I don’t have pets of my own, over the past several years I’ve had the chance to care for a wide variety of dogs of all ages and sizes. I live down the street from some dog friendly hiking trails and my backyard is quite large so the energetic pups are always happy. I am accommodating and love the experiences I have meeting each new pet. A highlight was fostering and finding homes for 5 kittens in 2022! I have a relatively flexible schedule and am willing to travel a reasonable distance, message me for further schedule details- most frequently available on weekends I have a keen attention to detail that can keep too curious pups out of trouble. About: Animal care has always been a passion of mine. Currently taking care of a pack of French Bulldogs Growing up I had 5-6 dogs I was responsible for feeding,grooming, exercising ect. Professionally I have worked in kennels for about 6-8years, ranging in groups of 2-50. As a kennel technician I was responsible for maintaining a leveled space for everyone to play and exercise or even relax. I do have experience in medication administration, oral, topical, rectum, shots. I have also a year of being a veterinary assistant which is what I'm currently pursuing and absolutely love it. My schedule is wide open currently! I just moved back to the Central Valley and I'm flexible. I have school online for Veterinary Technology and have started school for LVN as well. While doing a house sitting or drop-in, I always greet the animals check food and water bowls, make my way to the yard and ALWAYS check the yard before letting out animals. I will walk around the house to make sure there were no accidents or anything out of sorts really. I make sure doors are closed that need to be and always give the love that's needed.

“Shannon did a great job sitting our two large dogs; highly recommend! She gave routine updates, pictures, and read my dogs info before we arrived. She has a nice dog proof house. Allowed the dogs on her couch and dog bed. She took them for routine walks around her large property. She was kind and trustworthy. We used her for one night of dog sitting while we hiked half dome. There are limited to no other options in the area and dogs aren’t allowed on any Yosemite hikes. We were lucky to get her!”
