“Aaron went above and beyond for our kitty! She got sick just before we were scheduled to leave; he gave her medicine, and dealt with the unpleasant litter boxes that accompanied her illness. Thankfully that only lasted a few days. She is shy, and never let him get a good look at her, but he kept trying. Aaron is also an excellent communicator. He kept us apprised of her condition (as revealed by her litter boxes). We highly recommend Aaron and hope to have him as our sitter for the foreseeable future.”

About: Animal Shelter Enrichment Volunteer, Stephanie "Stevie" is experienced with managing the special needs of high-anxiety and/or reactive dogs. She has rescued and rehabilitated 3 dogs of her own, and 6 cats. She is an active volunteer at the local animal shelter, helping with adoption events and enrichment activities. Stevie has been a pet-sitter since she was 12 years old. She started with plants and birds, and now 20 years later, can work with any animal, including ones that require bottle feedings, complex medication schedules, or homestays up to 2 weeks. Farm animals too! Chickens, ducks, and goats! She was a camp counselor for 3 summers and also conducted a work exchange at a homestead farm for 1 summer. I work remotely part-time and have a flexible schedule that can meet all of your pet's individual needs. 24/7 care and attention for your animal! I understand your home is your sanctuary, and I aim to leave it as if I was never there. All poops are bagged up and properly disposed of immediately. All water drops or pee piddles are cleaned up with pet-safe sanitation spray. The door locks are always double checked upon departure. I send pictures of your pets happy and healthy during every visit.

About: I’ve grown up with animals! I’ve always had a cat to take care of! I got my first kitten when I was around 5 years old! ever since I’ve had an amazing connection with all animals but especially cats more than anything. I have watched over dogs many of times. I can handle a big dog but I am mainly used to small/medium dogs ahah:) I’ve currently have dealt with puppies and them being sick! I have learned many new things along the way! I am so excited to learn more things about animals as I watch over them. I have only ever pet sit once through rover, but I can assure you I have plenty of experience and knowledge when it comes to animals! Your dog/cat would be so lucky to have me watch over them:) I currently work a full time job, I usually work 10-4 Tuesday-Saturday I am currently in school working on getting closer to being a veterinarian assistant:)) my schooling is completely online though so I can bring it wherever I go. I am majoring in Animal Science! At my house I have a big back yard so the dogs go out can can play with lots of land and room to run and use the restroom! we no longer cage our 2 dogs, we also have gotten chickens and ducks:)) so please beware if you send your dog to my house to let me know before hand how your dog is with other animals and around farm animals! your dog could sleep inside with the other doggies or inside the sunroom! when I am gone! I tend to walk my dogs daily! I also have 2 kittens I am leash training so if your cat likes to go on walks I can work with that too!
