About: My experience comes from owning my own pets (goats,chickens,ducks,dogs,cats,bunnies,guinea pigs,hamsters) and petsitting (yes, even even horses, pigs, snakes and bugs). In previous years, I fostered for countless animal rescue groups and shelters, whether it was just volunteering or fostering puppies or senior dogs in need. I currently own a pitbull/lab rescue, Cali, who I trust with few people. I completely understand the anxiety when it comes to trusting someone new to watch over your pup. This is why I prioritize communication, forming relationships with both pets and parents, sending frequent updates and paying close attention to details/routines provided to me. After each visit, you can always expect to find water bowls to be clean and full, leashes hung up and everything just as you left it except this time with a happy and tired pup! I have a dog of my own, so pet care is already built into my routine and something I look forward to everyday. I'm also available for last minute needs and do my best to be as flexible as possible as I understand plans can change :) How I care for your pet depends entirely on the instructions you give me, I strive to follow your directions as closely as possible to ensure you, your pet and myself all have a great experience that is as similar as can be to your routine with them. With that being said, each pet I care for is treated as my own and will have my full attention when I am with them.

I currently have an almost 3-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer, a German Shepherd, and a rescue pit bull, so I’m very comfortable handling active, strong, and high-energy dogs. About: Hi! I'm Christina. I'm married and have a dog, two cats, and an African Grey Parrot. I work remotely, I love to travel, and I love animals, so I'm happy to find a way to combine all three! I work remotely for a bank as a Technical Writer. When I'm not doing that, I love to read and travel. A few years ago, I did a solo cruise to Alaska, and it was probably one of the best trips of my life. Whale watching was something on my bucket list, and I was really excited that the stars aligned for the opportunity to do that on my birthday. My parents have lived on a farm for about 16 years now, so I have a lot of experience with farm life and caring for chickens, guineas, goats, fish, and livestock guardian dogs. About: Update: I will not be available May 18-25, and Jun 2-14 I love dogs!! I've fostered many dogs and volunteered at many shelters. I've had seniors and even fostered one with spina bifida. My first two loves were English Bulldogs. I have lots of experience with them and know that smooshy face breeds are much more delicate than other breeds. I absolutly love them! I'm not good with extremely energtic dogs, but can handle anything else. I am semi-retired. I currently work part time on Friday and Sundays with an occasional third day, so I am home a lot. I have plenty of time to devote to your pooch. In my home, I care for your pet just as I care for mine. Of course, with your direction implemented also. I do have a pool, so I will need to know how your dog is around pools, or if they have zero experience with pools, I will need to know that as well.
