About: I have been an avid walker and dog lover for years. I am good with dogs and love spending time with animals making them feel happy, loved, and tired out after a long walk!! Living in Boise and working remotely offers me immense flexibility. Pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily routine through structured walks, playtime, and dedicated attention slots. My schedule allows me to adapt to a dog's specific needs, ensuring consistent care throughout the day and week, whether it's midday potty breaks or extended outdoor adventures. My approach to pet care, whether in my home or a client's, is built on a foundation of safety and trust. For in-home care, I conduct a thorough home assessment to identify any potential hazards. When caring for pets in their own homes, I meticulously follow client instructions, maintaining their routines and environment. My deep awareness of surroundings means I'm constantly monitoring the pet, the environment, and potential risks, prioritizing their well-being above all else. For walks, I use secure leashes and harnesses, avoid busy areas if preferred, and always carry water and first-aid essentials. Building trust with both the pet and owner is paramount, achieved through clear communication and consistent, reliable care.

About: I've lived with and cared for dogs my entire life, and love spending time with dogs as often as I’m able! I’ve lived at a small dog shelter for a short time taking care of dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I’m happy to provide the correct care for each dog. I work full time, usually 8am-5:30pm near downtown Boise. I understand this is tough for many pets’ schedules, and, when possible, I am happy to check in on pets during my lunch. I am available any hours that I am not at work and I’m happy to do overnight stays any day of the week! I love to spend time with dogs in whatever way they may need, whether it's playing and stimulating their mind, feeding them whatever diet is best for them, taking them on walks, or just providing them with some company!

About: With over twelve years of pet care experience, I’ve handled everything from daily dog walks to administering medications. My love for animals ensures they receive attentive, personalized care. I am currently working part time and am a full time student. I will be available to walk or check on all the animals during random hours of the day! I love to keep the animals comfortable and watch them in their own homes. Their comfort while their humans are gone is what matters most.

About: I have taken care of my own dogs since the age of 10. Hiking trails right outside my door! Ready to care for your dog like my own! I currently work part time from home. Will have plenty of time for cuddles, walks, hikes, play, etc... Any day of the week works for me! I have a fenced in large yard. Hiking trails steps from my front door. Will let pets roam freely inside house and in backyard. Will crate if needed, but prefer pets sleep on pet bed in master bedroom.

About: I've lived on a farm for most of my life. I've cared for animals of all shapes and sizes. Raised many litters of puppies and kittens even a few bunnies, some larger animals too but I'm guessing those aren't super relevant here. Lots of experience with larger breeds. I work part of the week and needed a part time job to fill the rest. Both jobs include caring for animals. They seem to be easier to work with than people I will care for other animals as I would my own. If a pet needs company and the owner is okay with it I can bring my small dog to play. She loves other dogs. Above all my concern is safety for the clients pet

About: I am both a dog and cat person and enjoy spending my free time with my 3 golden retrievers and 2 cats. The more hair the better! I usually work mid day so caring for your pets daily will be no problem, whether it be a couple times a day or once, I can be there! I take my dogs for walks and play catch with them until they give up! I also love just hanging out at home with my pets.

About: Dedicated to providing loving and reliable care when you can’t be there. I treat every animal like my own, with lots of pets and patience :) I currently am available for the full day Thursday and intermittently on the weekends! I am flexible with scheduling if there is a specific time that works best. I am happy to play, pet, walk, feed, or bathe your pet! Let me know what your vision is and we will come up with a weekly care plan.

About: Growing up with a variety of dogs and cats, I’ve always had a hands-on approach to caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. Over the years, I’ve gained valuable experience in everything from basic care and grooming to managing special needs for both puppies and senior pets. What really sets me apart as a sitter is my background in dog training—while raising puppies of my own, I completed training courses to ensure they developed good behavior and essential skills. Whether it’s reinforcing commands, managing energy levels, or providing gentle care for older pets with unique needs, I’m comfortable adapting to each animal’s personality and requirements. My goal is to provide a safe, loving environment where your pets can thrive while you’re away! As a full-time college student with a flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to devote to your pet’s care. I attend only one in-person class for 50 minutes twice a week, with the rest of my classes being online and remote. This allows me to be home for most of the day, ensuring your pet gets the attention and care they need. I'm also an active person and make it a priority to get outside for walks every day, so I’m always happy to take your dog for a stroll or play with your pet in the yard. Whether it's feeding, playtime, or simply keeping them company, pet care easily fits into my daily routine! When caring for pets in my home or yours, your pets safety and your trust in me are my top priorities. At my home, I ensure a pet-friendly environment with secure spaces for your pet to explore and relax. I keep hazards like toxic plants, choking risks, and dangerous chemicals out of reach. My home is calm, clean, and cozy—perfect for a pet to feel safe and at ease while you're away. If I’m caring for your pet in their own home, I follow your instructions closely to maintain their routine and environment, ensuring they feel comfortable and secure. I keep open communication with pet owners, providing updates and photos so you can trust that your pet is happy, healthy, and well cared for at all times. About: I don’t remember a time that I didn’t have at least one dog in my home! I got my first puppy when I was 10 and i took care of him through every phase of life from training to his senior years. As a teenager and a young adult, I dog sat frequently for friends and family which introduced me to many new breeds! I also have my first cat now and I feel well rounded in my pet care experience through the years. I’m currently only working part-time so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am available almost every day of the month, + any time! I know new places can make a pet and parent a little nervous, but, I have a great cozy place for them to enjoy. I live in a safe and quiet neighborhood that can make walks relaxed and breezy or (depending on the dog) leaves space and time for adventure. I am able to crate dogs if necessary. . I do have a cat of my own which can be separated if need be. I have plenty of toys and supplies as well. I have an extra bedroom, living space and garage area for to make your pets feel comfortable.

Madeline C.
“Susan has house and dog sat for us multiple times and has done an amazing job every time. She is one of the few people I would trust my animals with for an extended period of time. Susan is communicative, punctual, and kind. She is an animal lover and cared for our dogs like she would her own. Thank you, Susan!”

Nicole A.
“I left my 93lb Bernese Pyrenees mix Ruby with Nicole a few months ago and she had the greatest time. I treat my dogs like my kids, so always a hair worried for their safety and temperament for others. Nicole followed up with me anytime I needed for a check in, picture and happenings of the day. I would definitely use her as a dogsitter again and again. Where she is located is awesome for on and off leash walks, and great space in and outside the house for a doggie to be comfy cozy. We will see you soon Nicole!”
