About: Since high school I have pet sat for family and friends and I'm also a lifelong pet owner of both cats and dogs! My dog growing up was a Samoyed, giving me lots of experience in handling strong energetic dogs and I've had many cats throughout my life. Some, like my current cat Albus, were very cuddly, while others were very shy and reserved. This lifelong experience has allowed me to learn how to handle all sorts of different needs and personalities of every animal I meet and know the challenges and joys of pets at any age. Currently I have one pet named Albus, he's a very grumpy looking Norwegian Forest who loves to cuddle, take naps in the sun, and people watch through the windows of our house. He is also very mischievous and likes to mess with people by laying right where he knows you'll walk so he gets extra pets with no effort! All of this gives me the experience needed to ensure your pets get lots of playtime, daily walks, plenty of treats, as many pets as your fur-baby desires, and making sure they get any pills they need on time! I also know how stressful traveling away from your pet can be, so I will be sending plenty of pictures and will respond to any texts as quickly as possible to ensure you won't have to stress during your vacation! My shedule is very flexible, occasionally I will be out of town on contract but in the time I am home I will be able to cater to your pets schedule. I'll keep a close eye on your pet while I'm there and my main goal is to make sure their usual schedule is kept! so the more details of pet care you can give me the better. I'll make sure they get walks, meals, medicine etc. at the correct times to ensure the health and happiness of your pet. I am also happy to do household tasks like watering plants or taking out the trash. I will also always ensure all doors are locked, and there's a light on when I leave (unless requested otherwise) to make sure your pet is as safe as possible while I'm away.

About: I’ve grown up around pets and have been helping care for them for the past 2 years with feeding, walking, and keeping them company when my family’s away. I currently have 2 dogs and have been around dogs since I was born. I’m home for the summer, so I can give your pet my full attention. I’m patient, dependable, and always make sure pets feel safe and cared for. Whether it’s a quick check-in or a longer visit, I treat every pet like family. Pet care fits easily into my routine. I’m currently not working and is home for the summer, so I have open availability throughout the week to care for your pets. I can be flexible with times and adjust to your pet’s needs, whether that be mornings, afternoons, or evenings. I always follow your instructions carefully to keep your pet’s routine consistent and safe. During visits, I ensure all doors and gates are securely closed and never leave pets unattended in unsafe situations. On walks, pets stay on leash at all times, and I stay alert to any hazards or changes in their behavior. I treat your home and belongings with respect and prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort.

“Kat was a good send, last minute I was in need of someone to come and take care of my 7th month old puppy and stay at my place. She responded to my post in hours and was flexible as I figured out If it could work. She agreed to come and meet me first so we can connect since this was the first time I had ever hired a dog sitter. She took great care of my puppy and it was clear she is a natural. She took our pupp6 to her office well she worked, which was great because I meant she was never alone for too long. She took great care of the house and left it in great shape. Between us, we have provided care for dogs, cats, small animals, birds (including raptors), reptiles, fish, and exotics. Our experience includes providing medication and taking care of special needs animals. Both Ryane and Dave have advanced degrees in animal-related fields; Ryane has a Ph.D in Animal Behavior and Dave has a Master's degree in Avian Science. Both of us have devoted our lives and careers to learning about and caring for various animals. Our experience through both research and wildlife rehab has given us plenty of hands-on medical experience with animals. Our former cat, Charlie, needed up to 8 medications a day for the last year of her life, and we understand just how hard it can be to travel when you have a high-needs companion. We hope our years of professional and personal experience caring for animals will help alleviate your anxieties, knowing your critters are in capable and loving hands. Please provide as much information as you can! We pride ourselves on leaving our client's home as clean as we found it and will always treat your home with the utmost respect. We do our best to follow your pet's established schedules and routines, making your time away as easy on your pet as possible! We are also able to provide regular house care (e.g. plant watering, etc.), just let us know what is needed!

“Carlee recently housesat for my dog and cat for a week. My senior dog has some special needs (medication) and she did a good job taking special care of him. We did have to adjust walking and feeding times as I’m retired; Carlee was up and out before the dog usually gets out of bed. He seemed to adapt to the changes in his schedule, I seemed to have more anxiety about it, simply because I was not aware ahead of time. She sent pictures which were very much appreciated, and left the house extremely clean and tidy.”
