“This was Kat's first time sitting for our kitten Peanut, and she exceeded our expectations across the board. Communication was excellent — she shared regular updates and sent us genuinely fun photos that we loved getting throughout the trip. When we hit an unexpected schedule change, Kat was completely accommodating and made it a non-issue. The house was just as clean as we left it. She followed everything we asked, from the litter box routine to stripping the bed before we got back. Most importantly, Peanut was visibly happy and well-adjusted when we returned — you can always tell when a sitter has actually engaged with your pet, and she clearly had. About: I’ve taken care of cats for all my life. Since I was little my family always had a cat in the house and I continue on this lifestyle by owning two precious cats of my own. I especially love meeting cats because of their ranging temperaments and having to typically earn their trust rather than being instantly friendly. We have an Australian-Shepherd who such a bundle of joy, energy, and excitement, always eager to make new experiences, new pet friends, and new human-bonds! I've been taking care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I've always had at least 2-3 dogs at-home, at all times. These dogs have either stayed for just the day, overnight, or have boarded with me, the longest-boarding being 2-3 months with a German-Shepherd rescue, and we always have a blast. We always seek to find a routine so as to calm any boredom or stress throughout each day! We play, take walks, hang out in the grass yard / property, and go on 1-3 miles hikes in the local area! I love to spoil every dog I have the pleasure to be around, take scenic walks, and of course taking lots and lots of pictures. Daytime Adventures: Available most weeks days (7am-4pm, pickup or drop off) to take your pup on a hike, play yard games, and practice new skills. Sitting and Boarding: Kainoa and Carly are available for night and weekend sitting or longer-term boarding with 1 week advance notice. We live on a large property with a fenced-in yard, lush green-pasture for playtime, and complete with a shaded (puppy-proof) deck! I have no problem with crate-training, my goal is to give your pet what they need to be settled, calm, happy, curious, and playful… and then to give them lots of love and cuddles and kisses!

About: I have been a animal lover for as long as I can remember! I got my first dog, Daisy, when I was 7 Years old and quickly found a passion for caring for animals. My family and friends have relied on me over the years to walk, feed, and love their pets. I even spent a few summers volunteering at the Humane Society in Marin County. About: I have been professionally caring for dogs and cats in-home for about 5 years part-time, but I was raised in a home that routinely took in stray and surrendered animals. I am a lifelong vegetarian and 10-year vegan with a deep love for all creatures. In addition to caring for animal companions, I like to leave homes better than I found them. Whenever possible, I do some light housekeeping so that when folks return from their trips, they come back to happy animals and a cozy home where they can just put their bags down and crawl into a bed! This is a safety issue for both parties — I do not enter strangers’ homes without safeguards and advise against folks needing pet sitting services to allow strangers into their home without safeguards. Rover is a means to provide that safety measure prior to establishing a trusting relationship. My posted rates are firm. I ask that folks not haggle or try to negotiate an initial pet-sit off of the app for a cheaper rate.
