“Lori and Frank were incredibly warm to me and my dog! They welcomed him with open arms and gave him so much love - I was able to happily be without him knowing he was in great hands with Lori and Frank. They loved his idiosyncrasies and did everything they could to make my dog comfy - he can’t wait to go back and I will definitely use Lori and Frank regularly!”

About: I was a veterinary technician for almost 13 years. I worked with large and small animals. I also groomed animals for 4 years. I owned and ran my grooming business out of my home in St. Helena. I am a CSR at a vet hospital in Fairfax. I need to be home to care for my mother who is having health struggles so looking for more work closer to home. I am caring for my mother at home. I have lots of free time to fit in my schedule for walks, visiting homes and checking on all kinds of pets. I am open to exotics also. My boarding prices include one large area/room that is nice and cool and has room for bedding, toys, and whatever your pet desires. This room has access to a multi-level backyard. The animals are closed inside at night. Dogs also receive one 30 minute walk out of the home a day. Extra walks will be charged at $25 per walk. Cats stay in a room separate from dogs with all their amenities and will not leave this room during their stay. If your cat is leashed trained and you require walks please let me know know and we can talk about wether it is possible. I am a retired veterinary technician. I am educated in safety and health for animals. The pets in my home are loved and cared for individually. You can go on your trips knowing your animals are safe and cared for with a vet nurse. I am also willing to come by houses and visit. I will not do over night stays, but doggies/cats/exotics are welcome to stay overnight here at my home. When you leave your pet with me you will receive multiple pictures through out your pets stay and you will have full communication from me at all times. All dogs are required to have been vaccinated with Rabies, dhp, and bordetella. Cats should be vaccinated with Rabies, fvr-cp and leukemia. All animals that acquire fleas must be on a flea product. If they are not I will provide the flea dose but you will be charged accordingly for that dose. These requirements are for the safety of the animals in my home and in my neighborhood. Thank you for understanding.

About: I’ve been a pet owner for most of my life, and always loved animals. I just lost my dog Jessie, and love to spend more time with other dogs. I’m home a lot and love to take care of other dogs. Weekends I’m home, and have time to take dogs to the park for play or a long hike. I’m home also after 4:30 pm most days. I’m a school teacher and have summers off. I’ll be home full time from June 14 through August 12. I live in Marin in a condo which has a balcony, close to great trails, and in a wonderful and quiet Neighborhood. Love to spend time in nature.

“Christina and her husband were so great to work with! We really appreciated their amazing communication from the moment we requested to book. We also loved how they sent cute photos and videos of our dog so we knew he was having an amazing time! They took excellent care of him and made sure he got plenty of potty breaks. Our dog also got along really well with their dog, which helped him to be less stressed during his stay. We really appreciate Christina's help, and would be happy to book with her again!”

“So glad we met Edward! He took great care of our labradoodle, who can get very bad separation anxiety when we're away. I liked how Edward was thoughtful about bringing his dog outside to introduce her to our dog, and took them for a walk together right away so they could get to know each other. Edward's dog was very sweet and well behaved, and got along great with our dog. We are so thankful for Edward's help!”

“My nervous dogs were so happy staying with Alex and Bri for the day! I got lots of pictures of them enjoying snuggles and playtime so I knew they were having a great time. We will definitely be back!”

“Noey was amazing, I cannot exaggerate enough!! 100+% recommend! I needed last minute care for my dog and she was happy to take my baby Tabitha. This was my first time on Rover so I was a bit nervous. However, Noey delivered the best care for my 12 pound miniature-schnauzer, who has separation anxiety. Noey sent photos which put me at ease right away knowing everything was going super well. Noey’s dogs, Rad and Pitball also did amazing by helping Tabitha get comfortable at their place quickly! I really appreciate the time both Noey and her sweet daughter put into caring for my baby. Noey's daughter even cuddled with my baby Tabitha, making sure Tabitha felt safe and loved. I am extremely thankful, and will be back again when visiting the area. Highly appreciated!!!”

About: Hi! I'm Rafi, your local dog nanny. I'm a full-time commuter student at SFSU and a lifelong dog lover looking to help families near campus care for their pups! I grew up around labs and now have three rescue dogs of my own—a German Shepherd/Lab mix, a Pitbull/Catahoula, and a little Chihuahua mix. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I've been dog walking and pet sitting for family friends since 2018, but things really picked up during COVID when I was recommended to more and more people. Since then, I've practically been a full-time dog nanny! Most recently, I worked with an amazing local dog walking company based in Marin, but with school starting again, my schedule is a bit tighter so I'm focusing on helping families near SFSU. Whether your dog needs walks, check-ins, long outings, or overnight stays, I'm here for it all. I don’t just “watch” dogs; I genuinely enjoy spending time with them and getting to know their personalities. I can also provide references upon request! Hoping to meet you and your pup(s) soon! On Mondays-Thursdays, I have class from 8am-2pm but can pop in between breaks. Once classes are over, I'd love to take the pup on a long outing and spend time with them as long as you needed me to. On Fridays-weekends, my availability is very open so I can provide a walk twice a day or a long outing where we go on an adventure! I treat every dog as if they’re my own; all dogs will be pampered with love, won’t leave my sight, and will make sure they are safe 24/7. If you have any routines or specific needs for your dogs, i will make sure they are followed.

“Daniella was wonderful :) She clearly loves dogs and our pup immediately loved Daniella! She sent photos and videos and checked in with us - will definitely book with her again. Our pup had a blast!!”

I want to help people keep their dogs so am offering my services to help them. I have a a gated fenced yard and the dogs will be kept in my home environment only with social dogs or kept separately, there is a huge yard and fenced in Paddock for us to have playtime and then time to hang out in the evenings.

“We had a wedding to go and luckily found Randi to puppy-sit our two pups, Buster and Odie. It was such a relief to find someone who gave her full attention to our precious boys. Randi sent us videos while we were at the wedding and we thoroughly enjoyed the event knowing they were in good hands! We will definitely call on Randi for future dog-sitting needs. Thank you, Randi!!”

About: I’ve always loved animals. I grew up with cats 🐱 and have also become a dog lover, currently owning two huskies. I am familiar with different personalities, and am patient with young rambunctious one to the older ones. I am an avid walker/hiker, enjoying the outdoors rain or shine, and am happy to take your dog(s) out around the neighborhood or out on the trails for adventure (on leash). I’m also available to help with rabbits, guinea pigs and birds. I’m open to mornings and evenings for pet sitting, animal feeding or for walks. 🥰 I love cats and dogs of all sizes and even rabbits or birds. I am very responsible and respectful of another’s home. I follow instructions well too. I look forward to taking care of your fur babies with love and kindness. I tend to think of myself as a dog and cat whisperer 🥰

“Melissa and her family took excellent care of my babies! Even on Friday while Melissa was at work, her babysitter and husband took great care of them. “Rafi is the sweetest, most caring person I know, especially when it comes to dogs. She has three dogs of her own whom she loves so much and she is the primary care taker of them. “Sharon watches my sweet little dog every time I go out of town. My baby, Ivy, is a one person dog and is timid with other humans but good with other dogs. But not so with Sharon! Ivy loves Sharon and while I’m gone I get multiple photos of Ivy living her best dog life with other dog friends. Snuggled up in cozy beds, prancing in the grass, playing at the park… while I’m traveling Ivy is getting the best care ever! I highly recommend Sharon. She is a dog whisperer!”

Black Point-Green Point dog parents share their Rover experiences
It's been two months since Callie's been back to see Noey and her "crew" of pets. Since Callie's vision is very minimal, I was worried she would have a problem interacting/playing with the other dogs, but, per Noey, she fell right back to playing with her friends. She loves Noey's pups and all pups visiting- Thank you to the Best dogsitter, as I could relax and go out with friends, knowing Callie was safe, getting love, and having fun, too.
