About: I had a Basset Hound named George that I had gotten from an animal shelter in 2009, the vet guessed his age to be around 6. He was the sweetest and goofiest character that kept me entertained every day! He was diagnosed with lung cancer in June of 2016. The vet said he only had 6 mos. to live without treatment. I dedicated all my time and energy to help this dog live as long as possible with chemo and radiation treatments and a slew of medications. He lived exactly 2 years after his diagnosis. Up until his very last day you would have never known this special boy had an illness. He was an amazing dog and very dear to my heart and I still miss him every day. I will take this same dedication to take care of your pet because I know how special they can be to someone!! I work 10 hour shifts during the day in the xray field. I would be available on the days that I'm not at work to do drop in visits or walks. I would follow any instructions or rules you set for me. I think everyone has a different opinion on what is best for their pets. It's as simple as that!!

About: I am a dog owner of 2 German shepherds and previously I had 2 black labs. I have trained them all to be off leash walkers and very well mannered in public areas. My love for animals is dramatic and I aspire to give the affection to more animals than I can contain in my own home. I am a stay at home mom so I am home all day every day. Our weekend are typically free outside of an arcade visit on some Saturdays. I am vigilant in my efforts to keep dogs safety and happiness my top priority. I recently transferred with my job from the East Coast to Utah, and now reside in Northern California and currently frequent the Humane Society to visit with the cats and dogs waiting for homes. Pet Sitting - I am able to walk them/feed in the mornings and after 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Thursday - Sundays more frequently. I do prefer overnight pet sitting. I am reliable, responsible and have a "knack" with most pets. I do need to know about any behavioral issues (likes to chew on things that aren't their toys for example). I am a full time worker, but I am flexible. I will fit your pets into my schedule so you don't have to worry about them. About: I've always had dogs and crate trained my dogs. I know how to train basic commands but nothing really beyond that. I do love playing with dogs and also relaxing with them as well. I do work full time but I do work from home most of the week. So my schedule is pretty flexible for the most part. I have a fenced yard, and 4 friendly dogs. We do have 2 cats but they stay outside as they don't like our dogs. I make sure the the pet I babysit is comfortable and listen to instructions on the owners requests.
