Im retired so available all day on days available . I live on 3 acres and have 3 horses and chickens that are fenced in separately from the rest of my fenced in property. I also have a fenced in backyard with plenty of room for dogs to run and play. I have a 1 1/2 year old 30 pound Rat Terrier that loves having other dogs around to play. Im retired but care for a grandchild a few days a week. On days Im available, Im available all day and evenings on those days. My property is completely fenced in and I also have a fenced in backyard with lots of room to run and play with my dog. About: I’ve had dogs as pets since I was a baby. I have two chihuahuas that are 10 and 11 years old. I’ve had them since they were 8 weeks old and they are my babies. They are so spoiled and loved and my whole world. I’m currently taking a break from my full time job. My day depends on what I have scheduled, it’s very fluid and open. I start my day by scooping the cat litter box, letting my dogs outside to potty, taking care of and feeding my beta fish, opening windows and watering plants, and then making meals for my two cats and two dogs. I am at home majority of my day and spend a lot of time with my animals. I walk my two dogs everyday and make them meals. I brush my two cats everyday and give them enrichment activities. I spend the day cuddling with my dogs too. At my clients home, I would follow the directions provided to me as well as using my own discretion when necessary to provide the ultimate care. About: My own dog, Zeus, who was a German Shepard, had developed hip dysplasia in his elder years. He passed in 2024 but in his last years of life I learned to properly administer his two medications, and was able to trick him into taking them when he was stubborn, which was all of the time. I cleaned up after him while my parents were away and sat with him when he was anxious, which again, was all of the time. I took him on walks when he was younger and was able to handle his strength. I adore dogs and understand the stress of leaving a special needs dog by themselves. If you need a calm energy for your senior dog, or playfulness for your puppy, I'm your guy. At the moment I am still looking for a full or part time job, so my days and nights are completely open for those who need a sitter. I will care for your dog by first making sure they have their nessecities, food, water, medication, and a bathroom break. If we go on a walk I will make sure their harness and leash are secure, and am willing to walk however long your dog wishes to walk. When we come back to your home I will make sure he is uninjured, no issues with the feet or body if we go to a dog park. I am willing to do anything and everything to ensure the safety and health of a dog.

I recently transferred with my job from the East Coast to Utah, and now reside in Northern California and currently frequent the Humane Society to visit with the cats and dogs waiting for homes. Pet Sitting - I am able to walk them/feed in the mornings and after 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Thursday - Sundays more frequently. I do prefer overnight pet sitting. I am reliable, responsible and have a "knack" with most pets. I do need to know about any behavioral issues (likes to chew on things that aren't their toys for example). About: I’ve raised puppies, kittens, baby birds, chickens and various other animals, I’ve also had experience working on a dog farm and groomed various types of breeds. I’m available for part-time work and am flexible when it comes to scheduling. I am open to working Monday-Sun as long as it’s planned at least a week in advance. About: Austin loves hanging out with and caring for dogs. My Dogs House was created to help small and medium sized dogs have a safe and fun location to stay while their owners are busy or away. Reservations are limited as we only take a small number of well behaved dogs on a daily basis. My Dogs House is open everyday. Although reservations are limited we aim to be available at your convenience! A secondary staff member is available to assist on days that are busy or there are scheduling conflicts for Austin so the dogs are never left unattended. Inside kennels are available if needed or preferred. Yard is completely fenced. Austin provides daily updates, photos, and livestream video upon request to insure clients that their animal is getting the best care and attention.
