Im retired so available all day on days available . I live on 3 acres and have 3 horses and chickens that are fenced in separately from the rest of my fenced in property. I also have a fenced in backyard with plenty of room for dogs to run and play. I have a 1 1/2 year old 30 pound Rat Terrier that loves having other dogs around to play. Im retired but care for a grandchild a few days a week. On days Im available, Im available all day and evenings on those days. My property is completely fenced in and I also have a fenced in backyard with lots of room to run and play with my dog. She is obviously an old hand at caring for dogs and I felt very comfortable leaving my Beagle/Jack Russel mix with her for eight nights while I was out of the country on business. We did a meet and greet a few days before my trip and I instantly saw that it was going to work. Her location in central Phoenix near the Phoenix Country Club area is probably on the way to or from the airport for many. Very convenient... The one thing that impressed me the most when I dropped my little guy off at the start was how Sylvia reviewed my printed instruction sheet on feeding and meds very carefully. She asked questions and confirmed details. She also sent a nicely worded report after the first night that helped me relax about leaving him and then another report on how he was doing near the end of the trip. It was just enough to keep me informed and happy that he was doing ok. When I picked up Harvey at the end of his eight night stay, he was glad to see me, but not too glad. He seemed happy and content. And... that is the most you can ask of a sitter like Sylvia... to take care of your little loved one like he was her own... Sylvia certainly did with flying colors! About: While the 4 cats in my home do not belong to me, but my mother, I have helped many times with litterbox, and cutting nails. While I do not have experience with more special things, like administering medication or bathing, I am more than willing to sit with your baby, make sure they are safe and dont get into any trouble around your home. I adore cats just as much as dogs, and I love playing with them. If you need a sitter to just make sure their litterbox is cleaned and they are fed and watered, I'm your guy.

About: I’ve had dogs as pets since I was a baby. I have two chihuahuas that are 10 and 11 years old. I’ve had them since they were 8 weeks old and they are my babies. They are so spoiled and loved and my whole world. I’m currently taking a break from my full time job. My day depends on what I have scheduled, it’s very fluid and open. I start my day by scooping the cat litter box, letting my dogs outside to potty, taking care of and feeding my beta fish, opening windows and watering plants, and then making meals for my two cats and two dogs. I am at home majority of my day and spend a lot of time with my animals. I walk my two dogs everyday and make them meals. I brush my two cats everyday and give them enrichment activities. I spend the day cuddling with my dogs too. At my clients home, I would follow the directions provided to me as well as using my own discretion when necessary to provide the ultimate care. In my family we have all ways had 2 small dogs, and now I have my current dog of 5 years, love him so much like my baby, sleeps and cuddles with me all the time. About: I've always had dogs and crate trained my dogs. I know how to train basic commands but nothing really beyond that. I do love playing with dogs and also relaxing with them as well. About: Hello, Rover. I’ve got some extra time on my hands and I’d love to watch or walk some dogs. If you are interested do not hesitate to reach out. I look forward to any and all future prospects. I work from 8am to 3pm so anytime before or after is no problem. I am completely free Saturdays and Sundays as well as summer and winter breaks. I’m available for drop ins or longer stays. I require at least an hour notice of your return so I know exactly when it’s ok to leave. You may simply message me that you are on the way back. If you give me a key please specify if you’d like me to put it under a mat or hand it to you directly. I will honestly just cuddle and sit with your pet so I offer near constant supervision. I can easily crate your pet if needed as well. I will say I do not do well with very large very hyper dogs unless they are well trained.
About: My own dog, Zeus, who was a German Shepard, had developed hip dysplasia in his elder years. He passed in 2024 but in his last years of life I learned to properly administer his two medications, and was able to trick him into taking them when he was stubborn, which was all of the time. I cleaned up after him while my parents were away and sat with him when he was anxious, which again, was all of the time. I took him on walks when he was younger and was able to handle his strength. I adore dogs and understand the stress of leaving a special needs dog by themselves. If you need a calm energy for your senior dog, or playfulness for your puppy, I'm your guy. At the moment I am still looking for a full or part time job, so my days and nights are completely open for those who need a sitter. I will care for your dog by first making sure they have their nessecities, food, water, medication, and a bathroom break. If we go on a walk I will make sure their harness and leash are secure, and am willing to walk however long your dog wishes to walk. When we come back to your home I will make sure he is uninjured, no issues with the feet or body if we go to a dog park. I am willing to do anything and everything to ensure the safety and health of a dog.
About: I have been owned by cats and dogs in the past. I recently transferred with my job from the East Coast to Utah, and now reside in Northern California and currently frequent the Humane Society to visit with the cats and dogs waiting for homes. Pet Sitting - I am able to walk them/feed in the mornings and after 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Thursday - Sundays more frequently. I do prefer overnight pet sitting. I am reliable, responsible and have a "knack" with most pets. I do need to know about any behavioral issues (likes to chew on things that aren't their toys for example). I had a German-Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador mix for 11 years, he passed away recently but brought years of joy and experience with a highly-energetic dog. I’m available for part-time work and am flexible when it comes to scheduling. I am open to working Monday-Sun as long as it’s planned at least a week in advance.
