I am always happier if there is an animal in the room :) I love caring for, learning about, and working with all animals. I look forward to learning about what makes your pet special and unique. As I’m a teacher off for the summer, so have a flexible schedule to be able to help out with pet care. Hanging out with some new pet friends pets is always a great day! We live in Central City, so comfortable with mountain properties. I understand my job as learning your pet’s routine in order to offer as much consistency (and love/enrichment in your absence) as possible. About: I have been petsitting since 2014, as of recently taking a break from my full time corporate job. I have open availability for whatever you have in mind - for the same cost of a kennel or less, your dog can stay in his environment while you are away, with plenty of company/outside time/exercise as you see fit. Happy to take long walks if needed. Your pup is also welcome to stay in my home if you’d prefer as long they are ok with other dogs/cats! Open availability, full time care. If housesitting I’m happy to spend majority of day with your pets, however will need to leave a few hours of day to take care of my own. I have a fully fenced in wooded yard and two of my own dogs who are ready to play. They are supervised at all times if outside.

About: I've been an animal lover my entire life. Ever since I was a little girl I would bring home injured or stray animals to care for. I've raised an assortment of pets from parakeets, cats, fish, bunnies, chickens, ducks, and many dogs. Our dogs are like our children to us. It's our goal to provide the very best life we could possibly give them with lots of love, structure, exercise, a good healthy diet, and medical attention when required. Any animal that comes in our presence will experience the same treatment. I work full-time remotely. While we don't have a yard per se, we live in the mountains bumped up against BLM land with lots of hiking trails and areas to walk. Our dogs get exercised daily on the trails surrounding our home. With my at-home work schedule, I have the flexibility to take walks for my breaks and lunch hour and to get up and take care of things as needed through out the day. We get up early and go outside immediately so our dogs can relieve themselves then we go in and have breakfast. After breakfast, I start work while the dogs tend to relax on the bed behind me. I will take them out to potty again on my first break then on my lunch hour, we go for a walk through the forest behind the house. They get another potty break on my second break and then another short walk after I sign out of work for the day in the evening time. We free-feed our dogs but if we have other dogs in the house we will adjust the feeding and schedule to the visiting dog(s). We are normally in bed around 10 pm and our dogs are fully on our schedule for sleeping. If we need to step out for a bit, our dogs are good being left alone in the house but we do have a crate if needed for dogs that aren't good being left alone.

About: Hi there! I have been around animals my entire life and have always had lots of pets. Not only that, but I grew up spending every summer on my grandparent's farm where I learned to take care of all manners of animals and their specific needs. I am comfortable with horses, goats, chickens, dogs, cats, hamsters, ducks, raccoons, pet squirrels, you name it! I've had a lot of experience with helping others rehab wildlife too! I currently have two cats and two dogs (a husky and a border collie!) I absolutely love snuggling up with my four fur babies or going on adventures with my dogs! I have a decent amount of experience in dog training (both positive and classical reinforcement methods for puppies and adult dogs, but I am by no means a professional dog trainer.) All that is to say, I will take the best care possible of your babies and not much is past my comfort zone! I work from home most days (in Gilpin County) and can be flexible for morning, afternoon, or evening visits as needed. I am also available most weekends. I take great care to make sure my animals have a healthy and supportive environment, and I promise to do the same for yours! (i.e. designated sleeping spaces, fenced yard, clean litter boxes, fresh water always, plenty of enrichment, etc!)

About: I’ve taken care of kids and animals my whole life because I love providing love and care to all living things! I enjoy taking pets on walks, engaging them with their toys, and of course giving them some good pats and scratches :) I work remotely and have the flexibility in my schedule to match the routines you keep with your fur babies. Taking a break from work to go on a walk, play fetch, or give some pats & scratches is my favorite! Any pet in my care will be getting the VIP treatment where attention, playtime, and affection are concerned. About: I have been around dogs since the day I was born. Always living with at least two in my house. Most have been rescues but I have had the opportunity to train some from 8 weeks old. I watch both of my best friends dogs when they go out of town usually for a couple of nights. I love dogs with all my heart. I always walk and care for them no matter whose they are. How I care for your pets and home is mostly dependent on your requests. I give medicine, food and exercise as requested. I can simply fill a food bowl, measure servings and even cook protein and veggies for your dogs if that is what you want. I am happy to keep you updated or send you pictures if you'd like. About: I am 18 years old, and graduating high school in may. I have worked in multiple jobs that are centered around caring for others. I used to work at a teen center where kids would come in and I would interact and care for them as they needed. I also currently work at a doggy daycare where I make sure they are safe and happy all day. Also, when I was younger I used to be in dog 4-h so I am very familiar on how to tell what your dog is feeling and what they need. So I have a good amount of experience with all different type of dogs and sizes. I would love to help care for your pets and I will make sure he is happy and comfortable. About: I've lived most of my life with dogs and cats in addition to sundry other animals from tortoises to tarantulas. I am particularly fond of all dogs which is why my wife and I have fostered nearly a dozen rescue and foster dogs/puppies over the last 8 years. Along with raising two high energy Australian shepherds from puppies, I have had plenty of experience handling medium to large size dogs that can be reactive or fearful under certain situations or are simply a handful. Having worked with a lot of dogs I know they all have their own unique personalities and challenges and understand the importance of flexibly adjusting care strategies. I work from home ~2 days per week and when house sitting will remain with your pet during the day. I generally do long walks in the mornings before work and after. Dog walks or short visits during the day can be arranged as long as they are done so well in advance. I have two relatively high energy dogs who need a lot of attention. Generally, I take them to an open fenced in space in the mornings to play fetch then go for a walk. We then go for a shorter walk in the evenings. We have a small fenced garden that we let them out in to do their business when they need to 2-3 times per day. As our dogs have gotten older and more mellow/better behaved we've relaxed a number of rules such going on furniture or sleeping in our room at night.
