About 2 and a half weeks into her stay, Lola's tummy got upset again. Melinda was super communicative and agreed to help out by cooking rice and chicken to alleviate the tummy issues. Lola had a few accidents along the way which Melinda took in stride. She was much more interested in Lola's well being over any inconveniences. About: I have been around dogs since the day I was born. Always living with at least two in my house. Most have been rescues but I have had the opportunity to train some from 8 weeks old. I watch both of my best friends dogs when they go out of town usually for a couple of nights. I love dogs with all my heart. I always walk and care for them no matter whose they are. I’m currently spending time back home and have lots of extra time to help take care of your pets. I’m available most days to either walk, or house sit depending on your needs. About: I am an avid dog lover. I have had dogs my entire life, everything from small to large dogs. My husband and I work from home so we have all day to love on & snuggle puppers. We love hiking, going for walks, and sitting outside while the dogs smell the mountain air. We are comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. We are free to just drop in and feed or walk them or have them join us at our place. Working from home allows us the flexibility to cater to your dogs needs. We have two dogs as well (a golden retriever and Anatolian shepherd) who LOVE friends. We would love to love on your doggos! We work from home so we get to play and snuggle with the pups all day long!! We can take them outside, for walks, provide meds, or anything they need all day. We usually leave for 1-2 hours a day to workout and run errands. We live on 5 acres in the mountains, so no fenced yard. But we can take the pups out on their leash and they can spend time sunbathing on our big fenced in deck. Plenty of space for puppies to play and sunbathe! Pets are also allowed and welcome on any and all furniture in the house. Our home is their home. We have plenty of space for a crate as well if that is what you prefer for your pup.

I'm comfortable with everything from 8-week-old puppies to senior dogs (note for senior dogs: they will need to go up stairs). The backyard is large and fully fenced. I don't typically use crates. Your dog is free to roam comfortably inside and out, just like they would at home. However, if you would like me to crate them I can. My own friendly dog is part of the package, so your pup will have a built-in buddy to hang out with! I do a slow introduction to make sure the dogs hit it off. As for furniture, I follow your lead! If your dog is used to the couch, they're welcome on mine. If you'd prefer they stay off, I'll happily reinforce that (my dog has already claimed the good cushion anyway). Since I work from home, I'm around to keep an eye on things all day.

About: I've been an animal lover my entire life. Ever since I was a little girl I would bring home injured or stray animals to care for. I've raised an assortment of pets from parakeets, cats, fish, bunnies, chickens, ducks, and many dogs. Our dogs are like our children to us. It's our goal to provide the very best life we could possibly give them with lots of love, structure, exercise, a good healthy diet, and medical attention when required. Any animal that comes in our presence will experience the same treatment. I work full-time remotely. While we don't have a yard per se, we live in the mountains bumped up against BLM land with lots of hiking trails and areas to walk. Our dogs get exercised daily on the trails surrounding our home. With my at-home work schedule, I have the flexibility to take walks for my breaks and lunch hour and to get up and take care of things as needed through out the day. We get up early and go outside immediately so our dogs can relieve themselves then we go in and have breakfast. After breakfast, I start work while the dogs tend to relax on the bed behind me. I will take them out to potty again on my first break then on my lunch hour, we go for a walk through the forest behind the house. They get another potty break on my second break and then another short walk after I sign out of work for the day in the evening time. We free-feed our dogs but if we have other dogs in the house we will adjust the feeding and schedule to the visiting dog(s). We are normally in bed around 10 pm and our dogs are fully on our schedule for sleeping. If we need to step out for a bit, our dogs are good being left alone in the house but we do have a crate if needed for dogs that aren't good being left alone.

Not only that, but I grew up spending every summer on my grandparent's farm where I learned to take care of all manners of animals and their specific needs. About: I’m a dog-whisperer, ha! I seem to have a calming affect and can connect with hyper-active dogs, dogs that deal with separation anxiety issues, as well as timid dogs. Pretty much dogs of all kinds! They are an extension of our lives and our families! They bring so much joy. Let me bring some joy to your family fur-babies as well! I am an online student, so I have tons of availability, even last-minute requests! I can pet-sit in your home, for daily check-ins and/or overnight care! I am available for last-minute and overnight care. I have great references to boot! I am happy to take your pup(s) on walks and/or outings. Im also available for hikes!
About: I have been around dogs since the day I was born. Always living with at least two in my house. Most have been rescues but I have had the opportunity to train some from 8 weeks old. I watch both of my best friends dogs when they go out of town usually for a couple of nights. I love dogs with all my heart. I always walk and care for them no matter whose they are. I’m currently spending time back home and have lots of extra time to help take care of your pets. I’m available most days to either walk, or house sit depending on your needs. I love animals and can help for single to multiple days. I have three dogs that all get along well with other dogs. If you needed me to take care of your pets at my house I have plenty of space and activities. Behind my house is a soccer field as well as a trail up to mesa cortina. Fetch and hikes will be a definite.
About: I have been taking care of a large variety of dogs for 20 years. From eight weeks old to 16 years old, from pugs to chows and pitbulls to 140 pound malamutes I have cared for them all. I can come by to walk and feed your best friends once a day or stay and cook them meals as per your request. I want to make sure you and your loved ones are as comfortable as possible while you are away. I do freelance work so I have pretty open availability. Making sure you're needs are met so you are comfortable is my top priority. If for some reason I can't meet all of your needs I will tell you before committing to something that doesn't fit my schedule or abilities. I am here for you. How I care for your pets and home is mostly dependent on your requests. I give medicine, food and exercise as requested. I can simply fill a food bowl, measure servings and even cook protein and veggies for your dogs if that is what you want. I am happy to keep you updated or send you pictures if you'd like. Walks are as far/long/plentiful as requested. I want to provide you with the comfort of knowing someone is there to care for your loved one as you would while you are away.
About: I've lived most of my life with dogs and cats in addition to sundry other animals from tortoises to tarantulas. I am particularly fond of all dogs which is why my wife and I have fostered nearly a dozen rescue and foster dogs/puppies over the last 8 years. Along with raising two high energy Australian shepherds from puppies, I have had plenty of experience handling medium to large size dogs that can be reactive or fearful under certain situations or are simply a handful. Having worked with a lot of dogs I know they all have their own unique personalities and challenges and understand the importance of flexibly adjusting care strategies. I work from home ~2 days per week and when house sitting will remain with your pet during the day. I generally do long walks in the mornings before work and after. Dog walks or short visits during the day can be arranged as long as they are done so well in advance. I have two relatively high energy dogs who need a lot of attention. Generally, I take them to an open fenced in space in the mornings to play fetch then go for a walk. We then go for a shorter walk in the evenings. We have a small fenced garden that we let them out in to do their business when they need to 2-3 times per day. As our dogs have gotten older and more mellow/better behaved we've relaxed a number of rules such going on furniture or sleeping in our room at night.

About 2 and a half weeks into her stay, Lola's tummy got upset again. Melinda was super communicative and agreed to help out by cooking rice and chicken to alleviate the tummy issues. Lola had a few accidents along the way which Melinda took in stride. She was much more interested in Lola's well being over any inconveniences.
