About: Hi! My name is Hirono. I’m an experienced pet lover based in Jacksonville, FL. I’ve grown up with dogs and currently live with my sweet Scottish Fold cat. I truly enjoy caring for animals and will treat your pet like part of the family. I’m happy to provide drop-in visits, dog walking, and in-home care depending on your needs. I’m gentle, responsible, and attentive to each pet’s unique personality and routine. Whether your dog is full of energy or your cat just wants quiet company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you're away. I’d love to get to know your pet! I’m stay at home mom, so I have plenty of time to hang with my cat. We enjoy sunbathing and chill. Feed his favourite wet food every night. I used to travel often and needed my pet to be taken care of, so I have understanding of pet owner. I’ll be cautious of home security and pet’s safety.

About: My husband and I have cared for dogs our whole lives. We have experience taking care of dogs of all sizes and ages. We also have experience with leash training, teaching commands, and crate training. Between Chad and I, there will almost always be someone at house watching your dog. Our fully fenced in yard allows us to let your dog run around and play at anytime. We typically feed all of our animals 2x a day, but can feed your’s on a different schedule if needed. All dogs are taken out every 4 hours during the day. At night, the last potty break is around midnight, and the first one around 7am. Since we have 4 dogs of our own, we are used to building our time around them. If we are ever gone from the house, we put the dogs in their crates for their safety and comfort. As mentioned above, we have a fully fenced in lot with ample space for dogs to run around and enjoy. We love dogs and any dog that we care for will be treated as if it is our own. We love snuggling with them in bed, throwing the ball outside, and taking them on walks. Our goal is to make your dog feel as comfortable and as at home as possible. Due to our schedules, one of us is always home unless we run an errand together, so your dog will always be in great company. We have 4 dogs: 1 fixed female dachshund 4yo, 1 fixed male dachshund 8yo, 1 intact male bloodhound 8yo, 1 intact male hound mix 1yo. All of our dogs are up to date on shots and have ample experience playing with other dogs. The dachshund’s tend to do their own thing, and the hounds love to spend as much time as they can outside. None of our dog’s are aggressive, but we are prepared to separate any of our dogs from the main living space, if ever needed. We also have an indoor/outdoor cat who is up to date on shots, he usually stays in our room, closed off from everyone else when inside. We have a 1.5 year old son who adores all animals and will love your dog. We take precautions to make sure he is never getting into a dog’s space and disturbing their space. Our son’s room is gated off from all animals. We have a fenced off area in the back of our property with chickens.

About: I’ve always had a passion for caring for animals of all kinds. Growing up, I was surrounded by rabbits, cats, dogs, hamsters, and more. Friends and family know me as the go-to person for pet advice and rehoming support. With years of hands-on experience, I’m here to provide your pets with the same love and care I give my own. I’m a stay at home mom which makes me available to care for animals full time, I’m not away from animals for more than a two hour time - but only if we need a store trip. Our home is fully fenced in, the animals will never be outside or alone with my children unattended. We only take animals from one family at a time.

About: I have experience watching both cats and dogs for over 10 years, some being my own and mostly others! I have a disabled dog currently who I care for, giving me experience with medications and specialized care. I also have had two cats with health issues so I am well versed in specialized care for them as well. I look forward to meeting your babies! I am a student currently with a fairly flexible schedule. I will have a completely open schedule starting the week after Thanksgiving to Christmas as well! I am very careful with any animal I care for. About: Hi, I’m a young professional with several years of pet ownership experience on my own. We had multiple pets in my family since I was a child so I have lots of experience working with animals. Until recently I had my sweet and playful 70lb Pit Mix rescue baby named Tyler. Looking to help take care of someone else’s fur babies when need. I can administer medications as directed when given proper instructions. Work with helping provide strict diets required. I offer a large fenced in yard out in the country to play and run around and work out the zoomies. Can help with taking to vet or grooming appointments as needed. Look forward to meeting you and your fur baby soon. Currently work a Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm schedule . But don’t have other schedules or priorities typically outside of that so will be available. I have a fenced yard, no other pets in the home. The neighbors have a sweet beagle dog. That will come for a visit if you allow for them to play.

About: * DUE TO COVID I WILL BE WEARING A MASK AND GLOVES UPON ENTERING THE HOME* I’ve grown up with pets all my life and have a dog and 2 cats of my own. When I first tried Rover I was so nervous but ended up finding someone great it makes sense that if I was cautious to try then other people are too. I’m excited to take care of pets the way I want mine cared for. I believe that pets are family and leaving pets at home can be scary but my dog was so relaxed being able to stay where she is familiar with her surroundings and to just come home and jump back in to routine was a good feeling. It will be my personal goal to provide reassurance to both you and your companion while you’re away. At the beginning of 2022 I decided I wanted to be a dog trainer and am currently trying enrolled with Animal Behavior College to come a certified trainer. With this I've also completed the CPR certification for cats and dogs. My full time job was able to give me Fridays and Saturdays for the more likely chances for myself to give the care to family pets that I want for my animals. With my services I always do a check or other possible dogs around. If I am unable to cross the street of a passerby with a dog and safely I do so because I do not know the other dog well enough to know if it is okay. However if I am in a situation where I do have to pass another dog I speak up and ask if the dog is friendly while also being away of the pet I'm walking and how he or she is approaching.

Im currently working part time: Tuesday’s & Saturday’s. I can be open on those days if noticed a week prior. Other days, I’m open for availability.
