I take my job very seriously; I know what a privilege it is to come into someone’s home and to be responsible for a family member. I am a self employed artist who can take my work anywhere. My time is not restricted and therefore walking, meal times and potty breaks are not a problem to maintain. My availability in general is optimal for long stays or last minute bookings. About: Hi! I grew up on a farm and have taken care of a variety of animals since I was small. In addition to cat and dog sitting, I have taken care of other people's horses, cows, and hogs. I love taking long walks and would love to care for your four legged friends! Right now, overnight house and pet sitting is the best fit. I'm a theatre artist and have some shows lined up for the fall. I would also be able to do mid-day walks. Unfortunately, because I share with several room-mates, I would have to care for your pet in your home. Hilary was amazing with taking care of my two cats Frosta and Smokey. She provided daily updates and pictures with each visit. Frosta and Smokey seem to really like her and I came home to two very happy cats. Smokey is usually very skittish around new people, but he had warmed up to Hilary after only a few visits. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
