About: People often say I have a way with animals. They always seem drawn to me immediately, even when they are wary of others. I feel honored that animals feel this way about me because I feel the same about them! I have cared for many dogs of all sizes as well as owned cats. I have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand that has many disabled dogs as well as fostered cats/kittens here at home. I have a big fenced yard with both grass and forest to run and play. I don’t have multiple dogs staying with me at one time ( unless discussed in advance) so your baby will get all the attention. Although I will never replace you, I can provide love and safety until you return (and probably some treats and adventures too!) I'm currently not working and can dedicate my time to pet/house sitting and care. As you can see from my photo gallery, I love all animals and have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand, fostered kittens at home, and have seen very cool animals in the wild and at animal rescues/sanctuaries around the world. (I always vet them to make sure they are ethical and doing legit work) I have a large fenced yard and indoor space for cats or dogs. We have plenty of shade and are also willing to take pets with us on outings. I live with my husband and son and they also love and respect animals. As far as caring for pets at someone else's home, I can stay at your house or check in as often as needed. I will play with them, feed them, bathe them, take them places (if requested) and give them love. I know they miss their people and its not the same without you, but I do my best to make them feel safe and comfortable.

About: I have been an animal lover my entire life. I am 52 years old and began walking my neighbors' dogs and housesitting for friends. When I lost my soulmate Layla after 14 years, I found a big void in my life. Being around animal energy is so fulfilling for me. This is when I decided to offer my love to others fur babies. About: I’ve always had pets and cared/trained from puppies to disabled elders who need medication. I even produce a local dog parade annually. Must love dogs! I have a flexible schedule making it easy to accommodate others. I have reliable transportation for getting to homes and am in excellent health so no excuse…. I live on 24 acres, some fenced. My cats are indoor/outdoor and are trained to come in at night. They are literbox trained. My dogs stay in the house when we leave and get regular vet care. At your home: caution opening doors, assure leashes attached properly, and yard secure, administer meds according to vet orders. Feed per owner directions (you have them sing for dinner, I will too), refresh water, photograph/video each encounter to share with owner at visit, clean up pet messes, sit on floor and play, make sure home is securely locked when leaving

So I have full availability overnight, on weekends, and for extended periods between Nevada County and Placer County. I usually stay a week or more with fur babies. You can relax knowing I am keeping the utmost care and safety of your animals and home. References on request. I want to clarify during our visit if you need care at the 2-hour, 4-hour, or 6-hour interval beyond the overnight stay of 7 pm to 7 am. Communication is key! I will send daily pictures or updates. For best prevention, talking about the details with the owner and ground rules produces the best results. Topics will include where the pet feels most comfortable such a calm spaces or crating procedures. I make sure to go over emergency contacts and preferred clinics. Also, I keep a clean environment that ensures the safety of pets for food handling.

About: Hello! In the past I have owned a small dog and walked and played with him multiple times a day. He recently passed, which is why I would love to take care of other pets. I love all dogs and have experience walking and taking care of large dogs. I live in a house with a spacious yard on the ridge, on a dirt road with lots of nature around. I enjoy taking them out on walks, and we would spend ample time outside. I also have experience sitting dogs in my own home, as well as in other people's homes for an extended period of time. I have a housecleaning business and will leave your home clean upon your arrival, including all linens and beds made. He likes to be brushed and gets treats of course before the brushing 3/4 times a week! I think hygiene is very important when living with animals. We are still working on Phoenix's leash comfortability. But I am willing to fit walks with your dogs into my daily routine if you will have me! I have been missing walking, playing, training, and giving dogs treats ever since becoming a cat mom. I am a very organized and clean person. I vacuum twice a week or more with having a cat, and a rug that he loves to play on. I clean Phoenix's water and food bowls twice a week or more so as to not have any build-up or potential for mold/fungus/bugs. Cleaning his litter box every couple of days is a necessity for me as well as disinfecting the box every other week or more, depending on the week :).

I go far beyond this standard providing both care and training. Since I was a child, dogs and cats have gravitated toward me and I've always enjoyed their companionship; you can almost always find me with at least one dogs around. It's never been an unruly mass of teeth and paws though; I've always taken the time to teach my furry friends to walk on leash, to have immediate recall, to be polite in kitchen, and to use their voices kindly.
