About: While I'm new to Rover.com, I'm not new to taking care of dogs, both my own, friends', and dogs in rescues and shelters. I was the dog-walking coordinator for a dog rescue and a dog-walking volunteer for a public shelter for years. I actually grew up afraid of dogs and it was a big deal for me to start volunteering to walk strange dogs; it helped build my confidence, and I was -- and still am -- very attuned to what's going on with the creature at the other end of the leash. DOG SITTING AND BOARDING: I work from home as an editor, so your dog will get lots of attention and potty breaks. Your dog is welcome to join me on the couch or lie at my feet for regular pets, or chill in another room in or out of a crate. Whatever will make your dog feel most at ease while you're away. I recently lost my own 15-year-old dog, so your pup will be my sole focus (and will get lots of love and care). I have a fully fenced yard at my home for potty breaks (separate from walks/hikes). If you don't have a fully fenced yard at your home, it's no problem to take your dog for leashed potty walks as frequently as necessary.

About: I've been on Rover for over five years and I’ve been taking care of family and neighbor pets since I was little. My childhood pets have now passed on but I took care a of my dog with heart issues and learned CPR to take care of her. I’ve also volunteered at a couple animal shelters, so I’ve learned how to take care of pets with different types of issues. I currently work 4 days a week. I don’t have a set days that I work but I work in the mornings 7-10am and the evenings 5-10pm. So, there will be days where I would have to be away for up to 6 hours. Any of my free time, I would be hanging with your pet! :) I can’t have pets at my own house but I always make the pets feel very comfortable in their houses. I try to understand how they want to be loved, by cuddles or by a little bit of space. The pets are always my number 1 priority.

About: Grew up with a cat. Been watching and walking dogs since I was a kid. Would also love to offer hikes and runs for dogs too. I work from home and have a flexible schedule so can shoot of to walk or run or water or feed pets at a moments notice. I love to have dogs off leash when they are trust worthy. Otherwise on lead walks are a great way to keep pets safe. Also double checking locks when dropping them home

About: I have owned and enjoyed taking care of our family pets as long as I can remember. I will provide your pets with loving care and give them the attention they deserve. I can walk them in your neighborhood or even watch them overnight if needed. We have always had pets in our house and love the protection, love and companionship they provide. My schedule is very open right now and flexible for whatever you may need! Also flexible for overnight stays and housesitting. About: I’ve gotten to grow up around animals all my life, and have exposure with caring for a wide variety of different types. I have experience in training young dogs, and also experience in giving medical attention, like caring for wounds, dressing them and administering medications. I’m currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to come and care for your pets! I work for about 5 hours on Saturdays and Sundays, which still leave me with lots of time to spend with your fur babies! About: I’ve grown up with all types of animals my entire life. I’m well seasoned with dogs and cats of all ages, as well as temperaments. I have experience in training pups, taking extra special care of older dogs and cats, and I’m also comfortable giving medical attention and have experience with it. Currently I’m working part time; 5 hours on Saturday and on Sunday. I also attend school online leaving me with lots of free time to hangout with your pup or cat! I give your pet lots of care and attention while keeping your home tidy; making sure to stick to their routines so that your pet is able to stay comfortable when you’re away. I also handle basic care like cleaning litter boxes, picking up after dogs, and giving medications if required.

About: Growing up, my family always had cats, dogs, Guinea pigs, ferrets, fish, and more. Being around animals is nothing new to me and is a huge part of why I have a huge heart for animals now. I currently live in BZ Corner in a house with a fenced yard with my two cats, Archie and Oliver, and my golden retriever named Seager. Archie is 4 years old, Oliver is 6 years old, and Seager is a year old. I do work two part time jobs, but I am available most days in the afternoon. Just send me a message and I’ll let you know if I am available! I love all animals! My cats are my babies and I shower them with love. They have lots of toys and even have harnesses for me to take them on walks and two cat trees to climb on. Seager, the newest baby to the family, is my pride and joy. He is crazy but so loving. He gets to go on multiple walks a day and even gets to go down to the waterfront on the weekends. After a walk with your pet, I will make sure your pet has water and place them back where they were before I took them on our walk. I will of course make sure they get their energy out with toys, give them a ton of pets, and make sure they go potty on our walk as well. I do have a large yard, and it is newly fenced! I live far away from the main road and do not have many neighbors.

About: I grew up with all kinds of animals and I am willing do to whatever it takes to make them happy, comfortable, and cared for. I do work 5-6 hours in the early morning by I’m able to give your pets the full time they may need! With lots of pets, play time and going outside! I do have a full yard and I moved to a house so i no longer live in an apartment. I dont have any dogs. Not since I moved out. I watch a beautiful hound when his parents need time away. My parents have two beautiful well taken care of Rottweilers. I have five cats. I feed them good quality food and occasionally do raw food diet when I can afford it. About: From the first veterinary and rescue clinic I worked with, I understood & appreciated my gift as a caretaker.
