“Neil took great care of our two dogs and pet rabbit while we were out of town. He accommodated us on short notice and made me feel comfortable while I was away. I know our pups received so much attention and cuddles while we were gone. It's also the first time I've gone out of town, and our stubborn senior rabbit didn't venge-pee outside of the litter box after I returned (he has a habit of staring at me while doing this to voice his displeasure). 10 out of 10!”

“Alexis and her husband were great. Our dog can be very anxious, and she warmed right up to both of them. She looked well taken care of and the house was left in pristine condition. Also sent pictures and gave a daily update to put us at ease. We would highly recommend them!”

“Stacey was great, and sent a lot of photos of my dog. She took great care of my dog Bruv, when I returned he was happy. Bruv sometimes has separation anxiety so I had some anxiety leaving him, but when I returned Bruv was very happy! Would definitely recommend booking with her!”

“Megan was so helpful for me when I need a dog sitter for the day. She sent me a ton of pictures, and updated me the entire time. She listened to what needs I felt I needed for my dog, and even read to him! She also went into my backyard and picked up all his poop from months ago, along with some toys that were very old - She literally went above and beyond. You can tell she has a true love for animals, and I think that is why her and I got along so well :) Thanks Megan for everything, and I will be rebooking again soon!”

“I was nervous about someone we just met staying in my home with my dogs while we were away. Also, I have three pitties who come with a LOT of energy. Chris did an excellent job of making us feel comfortable at the two meet and greets, as well as this past weekend while we were in Tennessee. She was communicative and very helpful. She left the house cleaner than when she arrived. It’s safe to say that, given how it has gone so far, we are much more confident going to France for almost two weeks in a few days here. We’re confident Chris will take care of our home and pups. Got ourselves a dog sitter.”

“Hannah was very communicative and seemed to have a deep care for all of my animals. I received regular updates, as well as updates when anything unusual occurred (which only happened once, thankfully!). I felt secure knowing my animals were being looked after by Hannah.”

“Elizabeth doesn't just sit your dogs she adopts them. Our Ella got very sick while we were gone and Elizabeth took such good care of her and kept us informed. I really can't say enough about how Elizabeth went out of her way to take care of our sick girl, her genuine concern and compassion was matched by actions.”

“Lyn was timely, kind, and did a great job taking care of our home and our three animals. I would book her again in a heartbeat. Our fur babies loved her and our high anxiety dog was glued to her side the whole time. He felt so comfortable with her.”

“Susan took such good care of our guys while house sitting. Our two dogs and cat got so much attention while we were gone. Daily updates with pictures kept our minds at ease. Thanks again.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Gabriel. We met with our dogs, to see how they would be together and he and I talked about the weekend I needed puppy-sitting. Instead of either staying at his apt or mine, because she is a very recent rescue, I asked if he could keep her at his place during the day but then have all 3 of them come and sleep at my apt at night. I did this so that she would know that even if she gets dropped off somewhere else, she is ALWAYS coming back to her home. This worked out very well and he is just the most caring person when it comes to our dogs. I don't travel very often, but I would like to confirm that he is a magnificent pet sitter and I hope he gets lots of business because he deserves all good things!!!”

“Levon is amazing! My boy Melvin is very skittish and inclined to be fearful of new men, but Levon put him at ease right away, and Melvin was licking his face and trying to climb on him within minutes of our first meeting! I’m blown away by how Levon immediately knew exactly how to handle and communicate with Melvin—my guy is definitely a tough case with major anxiety and leash reactivity (which means 62 lbs jerking at your arm when our passing-trigger protocol fails to keep him calm), and Levon is literally the one and only person I feel comfortable handing the leash to as of right now. I was finally able to take a three-day trip without Melvin over Thanksgiving because of Levon—I hadn’t been able to do that since adopting him because he’s such a handful and has some special needs—and I was actually able to enjoy myself without worrying about Melvin! For him it was just a great visit with his buddy who took him for awesome outings to walk and hike, and quality time at the house where he received lots of love and attention. Melvin and I are so grateful to have Levon as our go-to now for when I want to schedule trips, and also as someone who can bring him out on adventures for extra exercise and stimulation!”

“Juliann could not have been better. She took excellent care of our senior dachshund boys. She was responsive and always sent daily updates. She was respectful of our house and took care to wash the bedsheets before she left. Highly recommend her!”

“Madi was a wonderful dog sitter. She listened & understood their needs. Our puppy went from crazy barker to calm and comfortable! Madi provided pics and updates daily. Madi was respectful of our home while she stayed here. The pups and I highly recommend Madi!”

About: Live and work in downtown Asheville and usually available on short notice with an open schedule. I've lived and cared for dogs for over 15 years. Current doggo: a 3-year-old pitty mix that we are training up to be the very best dog (better than she already is!). In a way, I'm training myself as I train her to reduce reactions and improve leash skills. Previous expeirence with mid-sized (20-30ish lbs) spaniels and a Shiba Inu. I am attentive to the needs of your pets, whatever they may be. I'm a pretty big guy who can be as much of a 'rassler as your dog needs, even if that means being a couch potato for a few hours at a time. I'm not much of a runner, but getting a mile or three of walking in is no problem if that's what your furbaby requires. Overnights, drop-ins, longer-stays. I am a writer by trade, so my work can follow me just about anywhere. No problem with administering medications. And yes, I can definitely send you a picture of your dog because you miss them. I have an extremely flexible schedule. If I'm in town I can drop in or walk on short notice and am usually available for overnights with 24-48 hour notice. I have a dog-friendly home with a small-ish, fenced in yard and a docile (lazy?) dog who will likely love getting to know your pup. I have a reliable truck equippped with a back-seat hammock in case your pup needs a ride anywhere. I am a clean human, responsible, who is very careful to be an exceptional guest in other people's homes (because that's what I expect out of people who stay in my home!).

“Our dogs took to Melissa immediately during the meet & greet. She was very caring with our dogs and even let me know she accidentally left out a supplement they both take in their food. She let me know that our older dog did not seem to feel well. I appreciated the communication and concern. We will use her again.”

“Natalie was the absolute best!. Our previous sitter cancelled on us at the last minute. Natalie stepped in and saved our trip. She took great care of our wild Wheaten Terrier. We will absolutely use Natalie’s services again!”

“Elizabeth was communicative and reliable while I was away. She sent regular updates, took great care of my pup, and even watered the outdoor plants, which I really appreciated. I came home to a happy pet and everything in good shape. Thank you!”

“Mallory was amazing! She helped us out with a very last minute request. Lilly is normally standoffish warmed up to her right away. She sent us updates and pictures. We will definitely use her again!”

“Anna communicated very well with us and kept us informed about Lucie. No problems were encountered, and she took great care of Lucie. We will ask Anna to sit for us on future trips.”
