“Sherri is absolutely wonderful! My senior pup is set in his ways and not a big fan of change, but did amazing with Sherri. She really puts her fur-friends first, sticks to their routines, sets up her home so it's comfortable for them and really understands their needs...as well as the needs of the pup's parents! We will absolutely leave our guy with Sherri again!”

“We were very nervous leaving our 13-year-old Golden Retriever with a sitter for the first time, but she was absolutely amazing. She kept us updated with photos and check-ins throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was obvious our dog was well cared for, loved, and comfortable. We were so happy with the experience that we already booked her again for another stay. Highly recommend!”

“Morgan did a great job of sending pictures of my pups every day. Most of the pics were taken outdoors where they love to be the most. Morgan’s family also hugged on Buster and Gus. I would recommend her and use her services again.”

“Elizabeth and her adorable family took such great care of my pup! The photos and feedback gave me such peace of mind. I have a high energy Border Collie and they really did their best to match her energy.”

“Zoie was an absolutely incredible dog sitter. Five stars does not feel like enough. She sent frequent updates throughout their stay, which gave me a great deal of peace of mind while I was away. She was attentive and proactive, reaching out when one of my dogs was whining so we could work together to figure out what he needed. My two dogs have special needs. One is blind and takes daily medication, and the other is deaf. Caring for them requires patience, attention, and flexibility, and Zoie handled it all with kindness and confidence for more than a week. It was clear from the beginning that she genuinely cared about their well being. I also made a mistake with my travel plans, and Zoie graciously kept them an extra night without hesitation. When they ran out of food before their new shipment arrived, she made sure they were fed and cared for until it did. One of my dogs even came home with a toy he became completely obsessed with, which was such a thoughtful gesture and a reflection of how much attention she paid to each dog’s individual personality and needs. Zoie consistently went above and beyond. She was not just a five star sitter. She was a ten. I would trust her with my dogs again in a heartbeat and cannot recommend her highly enough.”

“Oh my goodness! Neville and Ned had the best time with Vicki and Clint. They were treated so well and loved. Our fur babies love to be with their humans and you could tell they were very happy because when we picked them up they greeted us but then went back for more cuddles with V and C🥰🥰🥰🥰”

“Ozzie absolutely loves going to hang out with Sunnee. He runs to her as soon as I open the car door. Sunnee has a very calm and grounded energy. Ozzie never feels anxious about staying with her. Highly recommend.”

“Naim was very responsive to iur needs for a dog sitter. He reassured us with his own calm dog and he treated Mika as one of his family. He sent photos and videos and overall took great care of our pup. We are very appreciative!”

“Brycen is a very sweet girl and was great for our pup Ali! He was a happy boy and very clearly, well cared for. She accommodated his medical needs and took him for fun adventures. It was really nice being able to leave him for the weekend knowing he was loved and in good hands!”

“Shannon and her family had Frankie, a 3 year old Australian Shepherd, at her house for 6 nites while we headed east for a wedding. Frankie quickly became part of the family! Shannon regularly sent pictures with comments letting us know Frankie was safe, happy and enjoying his time. We will not hesitate to have him stay with Shannon again. We’re so thankful we found Shannon and her lovely family.”

“I recently had the pleasure of having Andy watch my dog for a week, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the start, Andy was extremely communicative and friendly, which immediately put my mind at ease. He sent pictures every day, allowing me to see how much fun my dog was having and helping me not to miss her as much. It’s refreshing to know that Andy genuinely cares about animal well-being; it's clear that he is a true animal lover. My dog absolutely adored him! His home is perfectly suited for pets as it has a nice yard, and it's located on a quiet street with a park just a short walk away. I highly recommend Andy if you’re looking for someone to care for your furry friend. Knowing my dog was in such good hands made my time away so much easier. Thank you, Andy!”

“My first experience w/ Shauna (and family) was an extremely kind and caring person and care-giver for my pup. Great spot with a large clean fenced in yard. She was very thoughtful on her approach to introducing my dog with her family, dogs and space. She was very flexible with my travel and was a wonderful communicator during my dog's stay with her. I could not be happier with the care she provide and would not hesitate at all to use her care again!!”

“Lucy was outstanding. It was our first time using her and Rover and we were nervous especially because our pup is a nervous one. She was so thoughtful and patient and genuinely showed up to care for Calvin and he was sincerely welcomed into her home. She was communicative and provided great photos which we greatly appreciated. I would recommend Lucy to everyone and we will use her again!”

“Whitney was amazing & we couldn’t be happier about Chevy’s stay at her house! She is energetic, positive, and very friendly. It was fun to get pictures & hear about how well he was doing. He’s a pretty spoiled lab & we loved that he got a ton of love & attention over there. We spent a few days in Glacier, but knew he was having as much fun as we were! Highly recommend!!! We will definitely use her again when we come back this way.”

“Avril was great with Athena and kept us updated with photos the whole time which we really appreciated! She was also willing to meet us beforehand with her dog Jill as our dog is still working on socializing. This made us feel much more comfortable having Athena stay with Avril and Jill for a few days. Jill was a great companion for our dog and when we picked up Athena she was better behaved and more relaxed than when we dropped her off. We will 100% bring Athena to Avril again. Thanks so much Avril!!”

“Alyssa is truly incredible! We fully trusted her with the care of our dog for 2 nights and 3 days while we went to explore the east side of Glacier National Park! She continuously sent me photos and updates of how she was doing and our dog loved playing with her dog! I could not recommend Alyssa enough, she is incredibly nice, thoughtful, great at communicating and I feel lucky to have found someone to trust taking care of our dog ☺️”

Devonna was wonderful! Super flexible in working with our ever-changing schedule for pickup and drop off. She was amazing when we needed to add an extra day unexpectedly. Our dog was having a lot of fun playing with Duke by the end of her time! Highly recommend Devonna for your pet sitting needs 😊

Elisabeth was absolutely amazing! I was in Glacier for four days and had to leave my dog with someone while I was there. It was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous, but everything went better than I could have asked for. Milo absolutely loved his time there with their family, and Elisabeth sent updates every day. Highly recommend!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
