About: I am a dedicated pet owner myself, with animals ranging from indoor cats and dogs to farm friends like LGDs, goats, chickens and even honeybees. The same care, attention and love that I give to my own animals will be extended to yours too! I am currently off for the summer as I teach high school during the fall and spring. This offers me a great opportunity to help and take care of your loved pets for any quick trips, long work days or family vacations. I would follow the instructions provided by the pet parents. This would ensure the safety and comfort for everyone, especially the pets being cared for.

About: I have been working with dogs since I was in 6th grade. I trained my childhood dog through a 4H program and we completed at the county fair each year in Obedience and Rally. Now I have a rescue who over the past 4 years we've helped work through a lot of reactivity and she now is an active participant in Rally competitions and other classes. As a teacher my summer is wide open for walks and drop in visits. Once the school year starts after school and weekends are open. I'm very comfortable with dogs of various sizes and needs. I can crate your furry family members, get them fed, out for walks etc. I'm comfortable with various walking equipment from harnesses to gentle leaders and collars.

About: Growing up, I absolutely loved animals—my family used to joke that I’d own a zoo one day! Whether it was caring for my own pets or helping animals in need, I’ve always felt a deep sense of responsibility and joy in making sure they feel safe and cared for. Over the years, I’ve rescued a baby deer, birds, and multiple dogs, and each experience taught me how to stay calm, patient, and gentle in all kinds of situations. I bring that same energy to pet sitting—being someone an animal can rely on, and someone owners can trust. My natural love for animals, along with my experience as a nursing student, means I’m observant, nurturing, and not afraid of a little extra care—whether that’s for puppies, seniors, or pets with special needs. I currently work part-time on weekdays, so I’m available for pet care after 4:30 PM during the week. Evenings are a perfect time for walks, drop-ins, or spending quality time with pets who need company after their owners leave for work. On weekends, I’m fully available and happy to offer boarding services, since I’ll be home and can give pets my full attention. My schedule allows for a healthy balance, so I can make sure each animal I care for gets the time, consistency, and affection they deserve. What sets me apart is my calm, compassionate approach and my experience as a nursing student—I’m naturally attentive, observant, and gentle, which carries over into how I care for animals. I’ve grown up with pets and currently care for two cats of my own, so I understand the importance of routines, patience, and respecting each animal’s unique personality. I’m also comfortable with both dogs and cats, including pets who may be shy, anxious, or in need of extra attention. I’m especially good with senior pets, and I’m comfortable helping with medication, special feeding routines, or mobility needs. I take pride in providing a calm, safe environment where pets can feel secure—and owners can feel confident.

About: I have been taking care of animals most of my life. I have had dogs, cats, hedgehogs, birds, guinea pigs, and have also worked on a horse farm. I think animals are very wise and they brighten my days. I have an Aussie named Belly who is my family dog and lives with my mom and a cat named Ula who lives with me in my apartment. I also love each and every one of my pet sitting clients! I strive to help individuals and families feel at ease with leaving their pet at home. Beyond basic care like you’d get in a kennel, I am devoted to giving your pet lots of attention, I am happy to provide mental stimulation, and I am active and love getting out for a nice walk or practicing a new trick in your yard. In short, I treat pets like I’d treat a human child! Fur babies are real babies in my opinion. In the past I have watched up to 3 dogs at a time, a kitten, cats, a little puppy, a whole litter of puppies, etc. I also have volunteered with Be Their Voice (a rescue for bully breeds) and Hamburg Mutts for Freedom! Now, I also volunteer with West Side Cat Rescue. My experience is vast. I will provide you with photos of your dog, and make myself reachable for any questions you may have. I want pet owners and pets to feel as comfortable as possible! New clients can use this code for $20 off! SARAC15269, https://www.rover.com/sit/sarac15269 Right now I work remotely aside from some dog walking. This leaves me a good amount of time to service your pets needs! I do have my own furry feline, so I do prefer to only stay for a max of 3-4 days at a time to limit running back and forth. I can care for your dogs in your home since currently I have a tiny apartment. I have experience giving insulin, breathing treatments, other medication, and caring for high needs pets. I love when dogs and or cats cuddle with me in bed and I respect them like royalty. It’s their house, not mine!

“I was so happy with the care Tara gave to my 2 German shepherds. She walked them daily for me and played with them with the same amount of care I give them when i was on vacation. I highly recommend her and would hire her again in the future”

About: Patient, empathetic and reliable sitter & dog walker that loves ALL animals! My 2 year old Cavapoo (15 pounds) loves to play with other dogs. He has been around all size dogs and gets along great. I volunteer for multiple rescues including flight angels that transports dogs from Puerto Rico to the States to get adopted. I have transported over 10+ cats and dogs. I have fostered a puppy that I found abandoned, Nursed him back to health and then found his forever family. I have many years of experience with taking care of animals including dogs, cats, rabbits and chickens. I am currently working remotely so I am home all day to take care and play with my own pet. When I take breaks, I always go for a walk with my dog and then when I am back at my computer, I make sure he has an enrichment activity to do (example: treat licking pad). I make sure pets are well taken care of, whether they’re at my place or in their own home. I provide lots of attention and playtime, and when I’m at the client’s house, I follow their routine to keep things as normal and comfortable as possible for the pet. I look forward to meeting with you and your pet! Taylor

About: I have been pet sitting for about 10 years, everything from quick play dates to extended stays lasting over a month. I've worked with a variety of dogs including a 13-year old 4 pound chihuahua, a vizla that required 5 or more hours of solid exercise a day, a 160 pound mastiff that thought he was a lap dog, and a very scared dalmatian/husky/german shepherd mix that needed some serious work on social interations. I've dealt with skunk attacks, bee stings, an intestinal blockage and various types of aggression. I love animals but right now my job has me traveling internationally for long periods of time, so I'm delaying getting my own for the time being. I really miss the interaction though, so this seemed like the perfect solution.

If you’re looking for a dedicated and responsible dog sitter, I don’t think you could do better than to hire Sara.”
