About: I have grown up with family dogs and currently have 2 that live in my house. I am more than comfortable performing any sort of dog care! I work as an electrician during the day so I am available any time outside of 7am-3pm Monday through Friday. If the dog can make it through the work day, I am the perfect fit! About: I’ve had a dog all my life. I adopted my most recent pup about 2 years ago and he’s a happy pooch. We walk three times a day and visit our nearby park regularly. He gets his yearly shots and monthly nail trimmings. I am the go-to choice to sit my friends’ pups, and have senior dog and puppy experience. I work from home, so can keep an eye on the pups and play with them regularly. I currently walk my own dog three times a day, visit the nearby park (Harlem rd park) after work most days, and visit Knox Farms dog park once or twice a month in the summer. I have a small yard 90% enclosed, so walk dogs regularly. There are friendly neighborhood dogs that we can interact with. I work from home, so play with the pups often. I promptly clean up accidents, if they do happen. I do not smoke and our house does not have animal smells. It is carpeted and we have a big sectional that animals can lounge on. We have a cat that has high safe places he can go to. I reward good behavior with praise and an occasional treat. Bad behavior is met with a stern “No”, but we have not had to break that voice out lately!

I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.

About: I have been working with dogs since I was in 6th grade. I trained my childhood dog through a 4H program and we completed at the county fair each year in Obedience and Rally. Now I have a rescue who over the past 4 years we've helped work through a lot of reactivity and she now is an active participant in Rally competitions and other classes. From 40lb corgis to 150lb mastiffs, your pup is safe with me and will likely find a new best friend. My schedule is almost always open and flexible aside from not being available on weekends. I am currently unavailable on Tues, Thurs and Fri (from 11AM-12PM) for a preexisting client. Because I have 5 pets of my own, I am unable to offer services from my home. With that being said, respect is first and foremost. Your house, your pets, your rules. I always like establishing the blueprint for what my visits will look like. I, of course, am trying to cater to your pet and understand they all have different needs; some are anxious, food/treat motivated, some need lots of exercise. I assure you, no pet is too big or small for me.
About: I have been pet sitting for about 15 years, everything from quick play dates to extended stays lasting over a month. I've worked with a variety of dogs including a 13-year old 4 pound chihuahua, a vizla that required 5 or more hours of solid exercise a day, a 160 pound mastiff that thought he was a lap dog, and a very scared dalmatian/husky/german shepherd mix that needed some serious work on social interations. I've dealt with skunk attacks, bee stings, an intestinal blockage and various types of aggression. I AM NOT CURRENTLY ABLE TO STAY OVERNIGHT DURING SITTINGS. I KEPT IT IN MY PROFILE BECAUSE IT IS LESS EXPENSIVE THAN BOOKING MULTIPLE DROP-INS At the end of last year I ended up taking in 3 Doberman puppies that I had dog sat for regularly. I was able to find a home of one of them but the other two are still with me. Because of this I am not able to do extended stays that require me to be gone overnight or dogs that cannot be left alone for a few hours due to separation anxiety or medical reasons. But if your dog is friendly please consider boarding! I currently work from home with flexible hours most of the time. My schedule is very accommodating and I love being able to take advantage of nice weather or last minute requests. The yard where I am is NOT fenced in, but it is very large with several acres of wooded area in the back. For dogs that need to stay on leash there is a long tie out and plenty of walks. I never let the dogs play outside without supervision. There are two other friendly dogs on the property (in addition to my own 2) and two dogs next-door that come over to play all the time. So we have our own mini, well-mannered, well-socialized dog park.

About: I know I love to have the peace of mind when traveling that someone I trust is caring for my pets while I am away and I want to provide that same service to someone else. We recently lost our beloved Dexter after 14 years, so we are very much missing having a dog around to snuggle and take on walks. We also have a cat named Joey and he pretty much keeps to himself (until it is time to eat of course) and 2 small children. I am available to come to your house and give your dog walks and check-ins or anything else you might need. We will be sure to give your baby all the love and care they deserve while you are away :) During the summer months I am off from my full-time job so I have open availability. When school is back in session I am available anytime Monday-Friday after 3pm and open on the weekends. I will follow all guidance from the owner as to how you do things. It’s important to be consistent for your pet while you’re away.
About: I grew up with large dogs. I raised and trained a golden retriever that was so well mannered that my neighbors would borrow her to play with her! I currently walk my mom’s very large (and spoiled) german shepherd 2-3 days per week. I love small dogs and am not afraid of larger dogs! I am retired and would love to care for your pets! I am retired and have time to care for other peoples’ animals! I am very flexible with the days and hours I am available to visit your pet. You can rely on me to show up as agreed and care for your pet as if it were my own pet! I am very careful to not let a pet escape. A dog in a fenced yard would still be watched by me during visits. I would gladly send pictures and updates of your pets.
About: I’ve had a family dog forever! Family and friends are always asking to take care of their pets for a quick walk, potty or dinner. I have my own dog that I take care of so I know how much someone can love their dog as if it’s their child. Your pet will be in good hands! I teach so I am off for the summers. I can drop in over the summer and walk your dog if you’re on a day trip hiking or to the beach! Your dog can even play with mine at a dog park if they get along, she’s up to date on shots and is very friendly! My dog is solely on leash unless she’s in a fenced in area, so I have no problem walking your dog on leash. I have taken care of dogs from 10 pounds to 70 pounds and all sorts of energy levels.
About: I have had dogs since I was born. Even in college I raised a dog for the guiding eyes program. My current dog I rescued from a high kill shelter in Florida and he is my best friend. I am usually the go to for my friends and family when they are out of town. I will dog and cat sit whenever needed I work fully remote so I am able to schedule pet sitting very easily! I am able to walk away whenever I am needed through out the day. I am very patient and easy going with pets. I like to take my time when meeting them for the first time to build trust. About: My parents have been breeding basset hounds since I was 6 years old. Ever since I can remember I have always helped my parents take care of our bassets. I would also help with the deliveries, which means I also have experience with taking care of puppies! My boyfriend has a pit bull mix and whenever I visit with him I will also help take care of his dog as well. She has a lot of energy so we take lots of long walks together. I work part time as a behavior technician so my schedule is pretty flexible. I mostly work evenings and I am off on Sundays and Mondays. I am also available most mornings. I am very good at sticking to a schedule and I am super organized so I will make sure that your pet gets fed at the correct time and has plenty of fresh water. I am an animal lover so I will be sure to give your pets lots of love and attention as well.
About: I’m a nurse full time but for my side gig i always have watched my friends/co workers dogs for about 3 years now! I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and know the importance of my pet being loved and taken care of when I’m not around ! I work a set 4 10 hours hour shift a week! I have a set day off during the week and off on weekends ! My home is always open to any animal but I would rather stay at your home for the dog/cat to feel more comfortable and be in there own environment! I’m a nurse at the VA hospital i also like to send a few pictures a day to make sure your pet is being taking care of properly!
About: I love to play with dogs and cats and just be able to give them my love and affection while their owner is not able to. Animals have been my entire life and i would do anything for mine. I love to take walks as it is so enjoying it with a dog is a dream. I live in an apartment with a huge yard, and am very welcoming to any pets that need somewhere to go while their owner is busy. I currently have one dog and two cats at my apartment and the other tenants do not have dogs and do not use the yard. About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.
