About: Hi there! I'm Caitlin, and for the past 13 years, I have gained extensive education, training, and experience with all types of animals. I have been with Rover since 2014 and have had over 190 clients through the years. As a proud professional, the experience under my belt includes: - Solo management of a small, rural cat shelter - Behavioral and adoption staff at a large urban animal shelter - Dog and cat training - Fear free certification - Management staff for boarding and daycare - Professional bathing/grooming - Exotic animal handling - Bachelor's degree in Animal Behavior Besides my professional experience, I have been a pet owner my whole life - dogs, cats, and exotics included! Right now - I have four beloved cats. ** Currently, my preferred clients are cats, small dogs, seniors, and more relaxed pets. I am not suited to care for strong, energetic dogs who need extensive exercise. ** In-home boarding and dog daycare are services I vet very extensively and am particular about due to my cats. While I do offer the services, it is always better to choose a house sit/drop in visit with me instead - these I can be much more flexible about. Some other services I provide beyond the basics include: - Wedding pet care and assistance - Pet transportation - Travel pet care and assistance - and more! I am a FULL TIME pet sitter! While some others may need to step out for a full work day, I commit my time to YOUR pet(s) and YOUR pet(s) only - which sets me apart from other sitters. You may see that my husband, Josh, is also on my profile. He will occasionally help me with some services, but I am the primary sitter. I will always let clients know if he is going to be present for any services. Safety for pets and myself is and always has been my top priority. I am proudly fear free certified and have worked on extensive safety training measures in all of my professional working environments. I know how to use all types of equipment (leashes, collars, harnesses, e-collars, etc) with ease.

About: One of my biggest passions is saving animals lives through fostering. My fostering experience has provided me many skills necessary to care for animals with varying needs, including young kittens, diabetic cats, XXS chihuahuas, and XXL breed dogs. Due to my experience in healthcare, I've provided many sub-cutaneous injections for diabetes maintenance and drug responsibilities. I've handled many small rodents including mice, and am comfortable with handling and providing care for smaller pets. I've managed care for animals with severe anxiety by providing them with daily psychiatric meds, and animals needing physical support with supplements, weight loss interventions (diet foods and safe, increased exercise), as well as animals with stranger fear. As a full time professional student, my mornings are often occupied by lectures, and Tuesday/Wednesday afternoons may be partially occupied for school responsibilities. I am very flexible, and can attend to pet care duties before, in between, and after my classes. I am open to over night stays and higher-maintenance care tasks, such as providing care for animals that require behavioral or psychiatric support during their family members absence. I enjoy playing with pets, within their boundaries of comfort. I have become apt at recognizing animals mood states, so I can properly respond to fear, excitement, anxiety, pulling on the leash, and over reactivity as necessary. I enjoy taking dogs on frequent walks if that is comfortable for them, and give occasional treats to reward 'good' behavior, such as sitting or laying down on command, and waiting to be fed. I am comfortable being cuddly with animals, and being very close and physical with them, if that fits in their boundaries. In my apartment I cannot host dogs, however, there are many parks and fields right in my backyard that I can bring your dogs to that they will enjoy.

About: Loving, cozy home close to the airport. I have taken care of dogs of all kinds from German shepherds to labs to cocker spaniels and pit bulls. My house is pretty close to the Buffalo airport. Great walkable neighborhood. I work part time so I have lots of time to spoil your fur baby! I have a large backyard. I have 2 cats that can easily be separated in my finished basement if your dog doesn’t like cats.

Since I am retired, pet care is my daily routine! I have all the time in the world to dedicate to your dog, ensuring they get constant companion ship, frequent potty, breaks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. In my home, your dogs safety, exercise, and comfort are my top priorities. I have a completely fenced in yard where they can safely stretch their legs and I love taking dogs on daily walks around the neighborhood, tailored entirely to their pace and energy level. Because I am a retired and home full-time. I follow their usual feeding schedule exactly, provide frequent potty breaks and give them free rein of the house. They are welcome as part of the family meaning plenty of couch cuddles, belly rubs, and companionship all day long.

About: Luckily since I have grown up in a family who loved pets I have been around all sorts of animals since I was young. Currently I have taken care of many dogs and cats. From helping with the care of elder pets to training for younger ones I have experience that will make you and most importantly your pet comfortable and feel at home. About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of dogs since I was a young child. Neighbors, family and friends have all asked me to pet sit! I now have a 2 year old rescue name Genny! She is very sweet, a big girl at 95lbs but extremely submissive in all situations! She would love a play mate and extra walks! Work from home M-F. On my lunch we always take a walk usually about 2 miles and Genny get plenty of potty breaks and outdoors time! I can follow any type of specific feeding plan and can ensure walks and outdoor time are a focus! I love dogs and would want to make sure your pet was taken care of they way I would want Genny to be!

About: I was a dog runner in NYC for 2 years, I grew up with a hunting dog, I've had multiple Chihuahuas as pets. I also have tended to all my dogs needs, included bathing and nail trimming. I enjoy all dogs company! I am a stay at home parent, so I take my dog out at least 3 times a day. I can accommodate your furry buddies schedule easily throughout the day. We have a trail through the woods to walk around as well. I have a 5 acre property with no neighbors, I also did house sitting in NYC so I follow whatever instructions are needed to make your pet as comfortable as possible.
