About: I’ve taken care of and owned dogs pretty much all my life. I can handle several dogs in one household, and have dealt with all kinds of personalities. I value patience and respecting the boundaries of animals the most, and am careful to watch behavior and not push pets’ boundaries. I also like to keep communication open between pet owners and I, and don’t hesitate to reach out and ask questions if I need to. I can handle varied diets and specific feeding instructions, and if pets don’t get along I have experience working around that as well, and am willing to adjust based on unique needs! I’m currently on summer break, and so have plenty of free time to visit your pets during the week! My schedule is flexible and if anything sudden comes up like bad weather I can head over quick most any time. I own an exotic shorthair and a Shitzu. Both are small with unique personalities, but I also have experience with medium and big dogs in the past such as huskies, border collies and Australian shepherds. I respect all animals’ boundaries and am careful to watch behavior for any discomfort. This is my first time doing petsitting online like this, but I’ve spent most all my life taking care of both my own and family friends’ pets. I can adjust to different pets’ needs and am flexible overall with whatever your pets’ may require in order to keep them comfortable.
About: My name is Brandi, and I'm part of a professional dog care team with my brother. We're passionate about providing exceptional care to dogs, offering boarding and drop-in services tailored to your needs. Whether you're away for the day or on vacation, we'll ensure your pet is well cared for. If you're interested in learning more about our services or would like to schedule a meeting, we'd love to hear from you. My brother and I am doing this as a team. We will work together to make sure your fur baby is well cared for and is treated with lots of love. We have made a comfortable space for your baby to stay while you are away. We have a fenced yard. We can also go to your home if that’s what you prefer and make sure your fur baby is well cared for
“Grace was a fantastic sitter and took wonderful care of my sweet Clementine! Having reliable care for my baby while I’m gone is a huge concern and with Grace at the helm I was able to enjoy my time away and know Clem had everything she needed and more. I can’t recommend Grace enough.”

About: I have taken care of and owned dogs, cats, rodents, and birds with love since I can remember. I look forward to meeting yours! I am happy to communicate updates, take for walks, play with, and provide care for any length of time you may need. I work from home, so my schedule is wide open. Your pet will never be unattended. I am open to for-the-day or overnight care as needed. I have a fenced yard and my own dog-friendly small dog as well as cats who have their own play space and can be around or not around your own fur baby as needed. I also can crate your animal if needed, but my home is of fair size so that the crate may not be necessary.
About: Experienced kennel technician looking to use skills outside of veterinary field. I have cared for dogs and cats through attention to detail and compassion for their needs. Working as a kennel technician, I can notice injuries and illness right away and can administer medications if needed. I am currently unemployeed so my schedule is pretty open during the week. I may be available for weekend services with enough time notice. I am available M-F 6am - 4pm. I live in small family home very close to a neighborhood park and baseball field with grassy areas perfect for bathroom breaks and playtime. I am able to have small- medium size crate to fit inside but I prefer to care for your pet in the comfort of their home. In pet owner's home, I can follow instructions provided and willing to wash any feeding dishes, treat cones, bedding and litter boxes if needed.

We truly appreciated him taking care of our pups while we were gone he definitely loves animals! It was a great price of mind knowing they were taken care of at home!”

About: I have trained pets to learn how to behave properly and do fun tricks. I have experience with animals that need medications. I also have some experience with other animals such as chickens and horses. I work as a nurse but I can still assure your fur baby will get the proper attention needed! I currently work as a nurse working three days a week. On my days off my schedule is very flexible. On the days I work I still come home and get the fur babies the attention they need and deserve. On the days I work I can only do morning and night drops ins. I will have other fur babies follow my boundaries I set with my dog unless owners states that they want other boundaries. If your dog has destructive tendencies or is not potty trained a kennel or having them stay in the yard when I’m gone is a must! Caring for your fur baby at your home will consist of any rules and instructions you provide to me.
About: I grew up on a farm and have trained and taken care of all types of dogs and cats for years big, small, chill, hyper, puppies/kittens and seniors and love them all! And guarantee I will always show your fur babies with the same love care and respect as my own. I do have a full time job but get off work everyday at 1-1:30PM everyday and am fully available Mon.-Fri. anytime after that! Occasional weekends are also perfectly fine. When caring for your babies I will follow your care directions to a T. Whatever you and your pets need will be done in full.

About: I'm available to make sure your fur baby gets the exercise and attention he or she needs when you're not able to walk or play. I have a 13 year old Dachshund whom I adopted from the Midland Humane Society when he was 1 year old. He loves walks and meeting other new dogs, and would love to meet your pup for a walk. He is special needs, because of his IVDD. If your pet is also special needs, I am comfortable caring for them. If your pet is shy or doesn't play well with others, that's ok, too, we can schedule a solo walk. I spent 4 years caring for the pet of the week in my home once per week, and you might have even seen me on the news or heard me on the radio! I don't have any children in the home, so no liability or tugging on ears and tails. I hope to get to know your puppy really soon :) I have a 9-5 job but I have the flexibility to check in early morning, during lunch and in the evenings.I love animals and love walking. I spend most of my time outdoors with my dog of 12 years. I have a one bedroom apartment with a cat and dog present. Both are well-adjusted to guests. If you select me as your pet care giver, I will keep my pets separate unless specifically requested to socialize them.
“So thankful to Jenn for watching our babies while we were out of town for the weekend. She gave me daily updates, full of details and pictures of how they were doing. Definitely recommend her, and look forward to having her watch our babies again! Thank you! ❤️”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
