About: Ive taken care of dogs since I was 10. I’m a big dog lover and I’ve had three of my own at home and miss them dearly. I love to go on long walks or just play and chill. I’m a student but I’m basically free all week besides when I have class! I can also just hang out with your dog while I do homework. I have a front yard and a great space for taking dogs on a walk. I also have a room that fits a crate if that’s preferable!

About: Hey y'all! I have owned lots of animals throughout my life from lizards and snakes, to cats, to dogs, to goats... I have a lot of experience with animals. I have also done dog sitting and walks for friends and family before on multiple occasions. That's aside from Rover here. Dogs are my favorite animal and I've learned alot over the years on pet care and how to make sure they live their best life! If you give me a try you will not be dissapointed, animals are my passion and I strive to make their lives better. I'll make sure to take some and play with your pet. I keep the pets inside with me. If they are not house trained or potty trained, that is okay. They will still stay inside where it is climate controlled and comfortable. Please bring toys for us to play together. I have 2 dogs that stay fenced at all times. If your dog is ever outside, I will always be with them for comfort. I can love on your fur babies basically all day. I do not have a full time job and my part time job hours are very flexible at short notice. I can love on your fur babies basically all day. I live in small family home very close to a neighborhood park and baseball field with grassy areas perfect for bathroom breaks and playtime. I am able to have small- medium size crate to fit inside but I prefer to care for your pet in the comfort of their home. About: I have trained pets to learn how to behave properly and do fun tricks. I have experience with animals that need medications. I also have some experience with other animals such as chickens and horses. I work as a nurse but I can still assure your fur baby will get the proper attention needed! I currently work as a nurse working three days a week. On my days off my schedule is very flexible. On the days I work I still come home and get the fur babies the attention they need and deserve. On the days I work I can only do morning and night drops ins. I will have other fur babies follow my boundaries I set with my dog unless owners states that they want other boundaries. If your dog has destructive tendencies or is not potty trained a kennel or having them stay in the yard when I’m gone is a must! Caring for your fur baby at your home will consist of any rules and instructions you provide to me.

About: I'm available to make sure your fur baby gets the exercise and attention he or she needs when you're not able to walk or play. I have a 13 year old Dachshund whom I adopted from the Midland Humane Society when he was 1 year old. He loves walks and meeting other new dogs, and would love to meet your pup for a walk. He is special needs, because of his IVDD. If your pet is also special needs, I am comfortable caring for them. If your pet is shy or doesn't play well with others, that's ok, too, we can schedule a solo walk. I spent 4 years caring for the pet of the week in my home once per week, and you might have even seen me on the news or heard me on the radio! I don't have any children in the home, so no liability or tugging on ears and tails. I hope to get to know your puppy really soon :) I have a 9-5 job but I have the flexibility to check in early morning, during lunch and in the evenings.I love animals and love walking. I spend most of my time outdoors with my dog of 12 years. I have a one bedroom apartment with a cat and dog present. Both are well-adjusted to guests. If you select me as your pet care giver, I will keep my pets separate unless specifically requested to socialize them.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
