About: New to Rover, but not to pet care! I have a deep-rooted love for animals, sparked by my childhood on my families farm. Growing up surrounded by many animals, including dogs, taught me the importance of nurturing and understanding each pet’s unique personality. I enjoy discovering the funny quirks and individual traits that make each dog special. With hands-on experience caring for many dogs through various stages of life and health issues, I’ve developed skills in managing their unique needs and behaviors. Typically, I work part time on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, which gives me plenty of time throughout the week to spend quality time with your pups! Whether it’s a fun and energizing walk, a cozy check in, or some extra playtime and cuddles, I’ll make sure your pets feel happy, comfortable, and truly cared for while you’re away. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and making their time with me enjoyable, safe, and full of attention, because they deserve nothing less! When at your home, I care for your pet based on the information and preferences you share with me. I’m very respectful of your space and make sure to leave your pup happier than I found them! At my home, I have two friendly, lazy cats who can keep your dog company. I again follow the information and preferences you provided to keep your pet comfortable. My apartment has a green yard in the back, which is perfect for potty breaks and a bit of outdoor time. While it’s unfenced, I’ll keep your dog leashed at all times and keep a close eye on all outdoor activities. As long as they are trained, I’ll take your pup on daily neighborhood walks or even to the park if they’re a more active breed. Here, pets are treated like family, with full access to snuggles on the furniture if that’s something they’d enjoy. I also keep pet parents updated with photos, videos, or messages, so you’ll always know how they’re doing!

About: I have taken care of dogs of all sizes and have helped with whelping, shots, to finding them new homes. I have trained dogs also! I will always treat them as my own and they will be well socialized. I am currently working full time at a family owned business. I am free from Friday-Sunday every weekend. I can take smaller dog with me to work (30#) or less. I have 30 wooded acres in the country. I have a large yard, not fenced but have a wireless collar system if I need to use it. I have a 4 year old chocolate lab neutered male, he is very playful and loves other dogs. I have 3 kids ages 10,7,2. I am available: - Mondays anytime before 4pm - Tuesdays before 7am or after 6pm - Wednesdays before 12pm or after 6pm - Thursdays before 4pm - Fridays before 12pm or after 6pm - Saturdays - I rotate and have every other Saturday off so this day is dependent on my schedule. When I work, I am scheduled 8am-10pm. I have 8 years of veterinary medicine experience. I have to pill my own dog at home and apply topical prevention to my cat. About: I moved away from the New England area during the pandemic and came to the Midwest where I didn’t know anyone. Back home, I had friends and family begging me to go on vacation so they could dog sit my dog, but here, without knowing too many people, finding a dog sitter was a really difficult ordeal. Thankfully, Rover and other apps helped, especially when I was able to travel again. I'm looking to help out in the same way this app and others helped me. I live in a large home with my wife Kelly (can't seem to figure out how to add her name but she'll also be helping with sitting), two dog friendly cats, and a very chill dog of our own. Pearl and Boy are our orange kitties and Candy is a 55lb brown lab mix. Candy and I used to be a certified therapy animal team when we had more time on our hands. All three animals love company (mostly human company but other animals are more than welcome, too) so your pet will definitely not be alone while you're away between us five. We do have a fenced-in yard, a dog specific area over the garage and all dogs are welcome to roam the entire house - especially if you also allow that in your home. But if your animal needs their own space, they have the loft, the yard, and various dog beds to decompress throughout the house. The old owners of our home used to be dog breeders and the home came with amenities specifically catered to hosting dogs. While we don’t and won’t breed ourselves, these features of the home make a great dog-friendly home for any pet while you’re away! We both work full time but Kelly is home three days a week and I’m home the other two. Typically my day revolves around when I should take the dogs out anyway. Usually one walk around 7am, another around noon, another around 5 when I get back and one before bed. How we care for your pet will be completely up to you and how you normally care for them. The goal is to keep the disruption of a routine to a minimum while treating your dog to a change of scenery and a new friend

She set up a meet and greet with us before hand and then stopped over to meet the pets and learn how to take care of them. She was great at communicating and sent us updates and photos each visit. About: I’ve had dogs since I was about 8 years old. I have experience taking care of and training my own dogs, many hours of volunteer work at a local animal shelter, and worked part-time as an assistant dog trainer at a board and train facility as well as currently employed part-time at a doggy daycare/boarding facility, where there are dogs of many different sizes, ages, breeds, temperaments, etc. I can confidently work with and walk a variety of different breeds and temperaments. I am currently a college student with a full time college schedule. However, I have a lot of time gaps that would make me well suitable to come check in and care for your pet. Living in a college dorm I cannot bring any pets to me, however I can follow any and all instructions on how to properly care for your precious fur baby.

(Beezle, my other cat, is a social butterfly—toss him a treat and he’s instantly your best friend.) But Kumar handled Relic’s quirks with so much patience and care. He came by twice a day, sent me photos and videos every visit, and never hesitated to check in if he had questions. His communication was fantastic, and he totally put my mind at ease. If I need a sitter again, I’ll be crossing my fingers that Kumar’s available—he did an amazing job, and I’m so grateful!”

I have experience with dogs of different ages, energy levels, and personalities from energetic pups who are always ready for their next adventure to senior dogs who need a little more patience and a slower pace. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding routines, potty breaks, crate routines, playtime, basic medications, and giving your dog plenty of attention and affection. I also understand that some dogs can be nervous or anxious when their people are away, so I’m happy to take the time to let them get comfortable with me at their own pace. I’ll always do my best to follow your dog’s normal routine and any instructions you leave. I’m also happy to send pictures and updates along the way, because I know how reassuring it is to see that your pup is happy, safe, and being well cared for while you’re away! 🐶🐾 I work full time in the Cadillac area Monday through Friday, so weekday pet care is planned around my work schedule. I’m generally available before and after work during the week, with much more flexibility in the evenings and on weekends. For house sitting bookings, I stay overnight in your home with your pets so they can remain comfortable in their own environment and stick as closely as possible to their normal routine. On workdays, I’ll be away during my normal working hours but will be there before and after work and overnight. Depending on your location and my workday, I may also be able to stop in during the day. I’m always upfront about my schedule before accepting a booking and only take stays that are a good fit for both my availability and your pet’s needs. I’m happy to go over your pet’s normal routine ahead of time so we can make sure the schedule works well for everyone. 🐾 Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I know how much trust it takes to welcome someone into your home and leave your pets in their care, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine and any instructions you leave as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medications, crate routines, and household rules. I’m mindful about keeping doors, gates, leashes, and other areas secure and will never put your pet in an unfamiliar or potentially unsafe situation without your permission. I’ll also treat your home with the same respect I would want someone to show mine. While you’re away, I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention. If I ever have a question or notice something out of the ordinary, I’ll always communicate with you rather than assume. 🐾
