About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life and I genuinely love caring for dogs of all personalities, sizes, and energy levels. I previously volunteered at the animal shelter in Big Rapids, where I gained hands on experience walking dogs with different temperaments and caring for their daily needs. I also respect each home by keeping it clean, organized, and exactly as I found it. For dogs, I ensure safe leash handling during walks, avoid unsafe interactions with unfamiliar animals, and always stay attentive to their behavior and needs. For cats, I create a calm environment by respecting their space and letting them come to me on their terms, while still providing affection, play, and care when they’re comfortable. At my home, I have two friendly, lazy cats who can keep your dog company. I again follow the information and preferences you provided to keep your pet comfortable. My apartment has a green yard in the back, which is perfect for potty breaks and a bit of outdoor time. While it’s unfenced, I’ll keep your dog leashed at all times and keep a close eye on all outdoor activities. As long as they are trained, I’ll take your pup on daily neighborhood walks or even to the park if they’re a more active breed. Here, pets are treated like family, with full access to snuggles on the furniture if that’s something they’d enjoy. I also keep pet parents updated with photos, videos, or messages, so you’ll always know how they’re doing!

About: I am experienced pet sitter who has cared for dogs and cats for over 10 years. I have taken care of puppies, senior dogs, alongside both high energy and low energy pets. I am able to administer both oral and topical medications. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pet while you're away and always ensure to take photos/videos for updates and give them all the attention they wish for. I have many years experience as a dog walker for drop in visits and with house sitting at client's homes while you're away at work. About: I have taken care of dogs of all sizes and have helped with whelping, shots, to finding them new homes. I have trained dogs also! I will always treat them as my own and they will be well socialized. I am currently working full time at a family owned business. I am free from Friday-Sunday every weekend. I can take smaller dog with me to work (30#) or less. I have 30 wooded acres in the country. I have a large yard, not fenced but have a wireless collar system if I need to use it. I have a 4 year old chocolate lab neutered male, he is very playful and loves other dogs. I have 3 kids ages 10,7,2. Who I have taught to respect all animals and know the responsibility of taken care of them. I am willing to meet to pick up and drop off also.

About: I moved away from the New England area during the pandemic and came to the Midwest where I didn’t know anyone. Back home, I had friends and family begging me to go on vacation so they could dog sit my dog, but here, without knowing too many people, finding a dog sitter was a really difficult ordeal. Thankfully, Rover and other apps helped, especially when I was able to travel again. I'm looking to help out in the same way this app and others helped me. I live in a large home with my wife Kelly (can't seem to figure out how to add her name but she'll also be helping with sitting), two dog friendly cats, and a very chill dog of our own. Pearl and Boy are our orange kitties and Candy is a 55lb brown lab mix. Candy and I used to be a certified therapy animal team when we had more time on our hands. All three animals love company (mostly human company but other animals are more than welcome, too) so your pet will definitely not be alone while you're away between us five. We do have a fenced-in yard, a dog specific area over the garage and all dogs are welcome to roam the entire house - especially if you also allow that in your home. But if your animal needs their own space, they have the loft, the yard, and various dog beds to decompress throughout the house. The old owners of our home used to be dog breeders and the home came with amenities specifically catered to hosting dogs. While we don’t and won’t breed ourselves, these features of the home make a great dog-friendly home for any pet while you’re away! We both work full time but Kelly is home three days a week and I’m home the other two. Typically my day revolves around when I should take the dogs out anyway. Usually one walk around 7am, another around noon, another around 5 when I get back and one before bed. How we care for your pet will be completely up to you and how you normally care for them. The goal is to keep the disruption of a routine to a minimum while treating your dog to a change of scenery and a new friend

About: I’ve had dogs since I was about 8 years old. I have experience taking care of and training my own dogs, many hours of volunteer work at a local animal shelter, and worked part-time as an assistant dog trainer at a board and train facility as well as currently employed part-time at a doggy daycare/boarding facility, where there are dogs of many different sizes, ages, breeds, temperaments, etc. I can confidently work with and walk a variety of different breeds and temperaments. I am currently a college student with a full time college schedule. However, I have a lot of time gaps that would make me well suitable to come check in and care for your pet. Living in a college dorm I cannot bring any pets to me, however I can follow any and all instructions on how to properly care for your precious fur baby.

About: I have two dogs of my own, and I’ve worked hard with dog training classes! I love dogs and spending time with them. I’ll treat your dog like they are my own! I’ve helped friends and family with their dogs, and they continue to ask and rely on me. I work full-time, but I always make time in my daily schedule with my dogs. I can fit your dog in and check as much as you request! My dogs are well loved! They have plenty of toys, taken for fetch every night, and walked multiple times a day. They are like our children to us. We spend all our time with them and love them to death. Anyone who knows me, can vouch for our sweet girls!

About: I adore dogs and exercise. I will take dogs out on long and enjoyable walks and give them another reason to love life!! I’ll give so much attention and exercise care to your dogs! I am working a full time job from home. I am free to walk dogs in the evenings after work, weekends, and maybe walks on my lunch breaks during the middle of the day. I have a small little 2 year old dog at home that has taught me the love and attention necessary to raise a happy dog and how to show them lots of love. I have had many dogs as I grew up as well so I know how to take care of a dog that I didn’t have a direct hand in training. I love all dogs and want them to non stop tail wag their way through life.
