About: I have cared for many families' pets in my hometown, looking after a wide variety of animals—from guinea pigs to dogs. I’m experienced with pets of different sizes and needs, and I enjoy giving them the attention and care they deserve. I am currently a college student who has classes during the week with a significant amount of time between each class. During the week I will have plenty of time to care for and play with your pet! In my household, I typically will go outside and watch my dog whenever he needs to be outside. In my client's homes, I usually will follow your specific directions and ask questions about anything that may be unclear.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities, from bouncy puppies who want to play nonstop to older pups who need a gentler pace. I’m comfortable with walks, playtime, snuggles, and following detailed care routines. I also have experience giving oral medications, working with leash-pullers, and helping anxious dogs feel calm while their people are away. I don’t just ‘watch’ pets, I connect with them. I know being away from their person can be stressful, so I make sure every pup gets plenty of love, attention, and consistency. I’ll follow your instructions to the letter, and I'll send photo and text updates, so you always know how your dog is doing. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and treat every animal as if they were my own. My goal is simple: happy tails, stress-free owners, and a wagging welcome home. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I am able to give your dog my full attention throughout the day. Walks, potty breaks, playtime, and snuggles can easily fit into my routine. Since I don't have pets of my own in the house, your pup gets a calm environment and one-on-one care. I have a fully fenced-in yard, so your dog can safely enjoy time outdoors. I also live close to the Big Rapids Dog Park and Riverwalk, which are great options for exercise and enrichment if your pup is comfortable around new environments. I have experience with dogs who are shy or uncomfortable around unfamiliar people or other pets, and I can easily adjust to keep your dog safe, comfortable, and stress-free, whether that means social outings or a calm, private space just for them. If needed, I have 2 crates, a dog ramp, and dog stairs if your pet needs help getting on the furniture or a safe place to stay if I have to leave. Just let me know if these items are needed!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my whole life from family pets to neighbors or friends pets. I have a 3-year old dog myself and have cared for senior dogs and cats along with puppies and kittens. I also have experience administering medication to both cats and dogs. I currently work a job where I will have plenty of time to play with your pups! I have availability any weekend and some weekdays! Any pet I have met I have loved as my own! I currently do not allow boarding at my house but would love to come to your home where your pet will feel the most comfortable and care for them! About: I worked at Chow Hound for a year and I absolutely loved my job, getting to see animals while at work was awesome! I learned responsibilities from a very young age since I always wanted to have multiple pets at home; my dad used always tell me if I can show him I know how to take care of the pet, and show him everything I needed to take care of her/him, then I would be able to get one. Over the course of 10 years, I had a pet rabbit for 10 years, hermit crabs, hamsters, mice, rats, ferrets, and a leopard gecko. I only go to high school until 11:30 am. I also play volleyball, and I have practice Mondays and Wednesdays 7-9 pm. So I am able to provide pet care everyday of the week, after 11:30, or on Mondays and Wednesday's before 6:00 pm. I don’t have any now, but in the past I have had hamsters, rats, mice, hermit crabs, a ferret, a leopard gecko, and my favorite girl, who I had for 10 years was my rabbit, her name was Piper, but we always called her “bunny”. I always make sure my pets get the attention and love they crave, always have fresh food and water, and watch their behavior, making sure they are well.

About: I've been pet sitting since I was 16 and have loved every second of it. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, and even ducks, chickens, and goats! I will make sure that your pet gets as much love, care, and attention as they need while you are away. I’m a full time graduate student in Ferris State’s PharmD program, so when I’m not in class, I will be able to provide all of the love and care your pet needs! Making sure your pet is safe and well cared for is my top priority. I would love to take them on walks, play outside, and give them all the love they deserve while you're away. Whether it’s a weekday walk/check-in or a weekend stay, I’ll always make sure your pets feel at home and loved in my care. When at your home, I care for your pet based on the information and preferences you share with me. I’m very respectful of your space and make sure to leave your pup happier than I found them! At my home, I have two friendly, lazy cats who can keep your dog company. I again follow the information and preferences you provided to keep your pet comfortable. My apartment has a green yard in the back, which is perfect for potty breaks and a bit of outdoor time. While it’s unfenced, I’ll keep your dog leashed at all times and keep a close eye on all outdoor activities. As long as they are trained, I’ll take your pup on daily neighborhood walks or even to the park if they’re a more active breed. Here, pets are treated like family, with full access to snuggles on the furniture if that’s something they’d enjoy. I also keep pet parents updated with photos, videos, or messages, so you’ll always know how they’re doing!

About: I’ve had dogs since I was about 8 years old. I have experience taking care of and training my own dogs, many hours of volunteer work at a local animal shelter, and worked part-time as an assistant dog trainer at a board and train facility as well as currently employed part-time at a doggy daycare/boarding facility, where there are dogs of many different sizes, ages, breeds, temperaments, etc. I can confidently work with and walk a variety of different breeds and temperaments. I am currently a college student with a full time college schedule. However, I have a lot of time gaps that would make me well suitable to come check in and care for your pet. Living in a college dorm I cannot bring any pets to me, however I can follow any and all instructions on how to properly care for your precious fur baby.

About: I have worked with dogs every since I was 12, I have handled dogs from small to extra large, therefore, I can take of dogs of any size. I also volunteered at a dog shelter and I worked as a dog groomer! I will be working part-time and I will have plenty of time to check in on dogs and take them for walks as needed. I am also able to watch dogs overnight! I know how to read dog body language to know when your dog is uncomfortable or stressed, I know dog CPR as well and I am comfortable taking care of all breeds of dogs.

About: Growing up my mom was an animal lover & we would take care of all sorts of animals so I understand the responsibility & learn quick. I currently work full time at a dog boarding facility called Monkeyshine kennels. I work most days from 8am-12pm and go back at at 3pm-6pm. My pets are spoiled for sure. My Titan has a kiddy pool for hot days & cool bed with a fan in his overly priced cage. On top of that is my baby girl Azula’s area to eat/drink & has a little scratching post on it.

Taylor called me at work (per my request) so that I could go over how to get into my house, etc. and she calmed my nerves too :) when she got there, he had tore up his mattress pad in his kennel- she cleaned it up so that he couldn’t eat it. She then walked him, took pictures for me and played with him enough to tire him out for a bit. She was so good with him anc it was so appreciated! ❤️❤️”

About: I grew up with labs my whole life so I’m very use to large dogs! The endless shedding doesn’t scare me away! I truly love all dog breeds though and I’m willing to open up to even the moody ones! I work full time 8:30-5:00 but I do have an hour lunch that I can make work for potty breaks and short walks! I can also stop by before and after work and I’m willing to stay during night weeknights too on occasion. I have a fiancé and two kids so I prefer to be home during week nights but with a notice in advance I can make it work. I am a bit OCD with my own pet care. My cat has an enclosure for his litter box with foam flooring for underneath the enclosure. I keep a broom, a shop vac and a swifter all just for his area. He has special prescription food and I keep his diet on a schedule. He gets lots of love daily and I plan provide the same care for your pets!

About: Hi there! I am Gina - self proclaimed animal advocate and lover. I am very involved in the rescue world which means I am well-versed in animal language and their needs. I had many fosters through various rescues and have 2 dogs, 1 cat, and a bunny of my own. I am a believer in positive reinforcement which means I will treat your animals with respect and never use adverse methods. I believe in treating pets with kindness in every interaction. I have a more ‘difficult’ dog myself which took very patient training to get him to even be able to go outside. With this experience, I know how to handle dogs that may be more reactive on a leash or take a gentle hand to guide them. I also have a very well-rounded pup so I feel I have seen both ends of the spectrum! My pup also has a neurological disorder, so I am comfortable with special needs dogs as well. I pet sit for all my rescue friends, and for some of them I am one of few that they trust. As a child, I dreamed of being a vet, and although that was not my career path, I still find joy in being around animals. I also volunteer for animal non profits when ever I can. I take close measures to make sure animals are safe and comfortable when I’m around and would be honored to be trusted with your fur baby ❤️ I also am available for CAT drop-ins! 🐱 I work from home 9-5 M-F and with advanced notice can flex my schedule to accommodate drop ins or walks. My schedule should be up to date with vacations. For in-home stays during the weeks, I would ask that you can set me up with WiFi connection so I can work while I’m there! I will follow any instructions given to me to best ensure your pet feels comfortable. I will take precautions to make sure that the animal is never at risk of flight, and will communicate if needed. I am extra careful to ensure the pet is safely indoors before departing and triple check locks for peace of mind. As mentioned in my profile, I am a positive reinforcement advocate so I WILL NOT use adverse methods such as prong collars, electric shock collars, etc. If this is something you use for your dog, I’m afraid we won’t be a good fit!

About: I have been raising and caring for dogs, cats and various farm animals for the past 15 years. I have had dogs of all sizes from St Bernard to chihuahua. They like to be treated as if they are humans! I balance my time and part time work with the pet's routine care and can board at your house/place for short weekend to a week or two. I am an early riser and like to go to bed early. Per your instructions, I will provide care and love for your pet's unique needs according to your pet's schedule such as walking them outdoors, special feeding and medication administration and try to maintain the pets' schedule as close as possible in your home and surrounding your home outdoors. I have a great visual perception and sensitivity and fyi, I am deaf. I wear hearing aids so I can hear some.
