About: Welcome to my page, I look forward to giving your animals and home the care and love they deserve :) All around pet care experience providing service for all sorts of animals over a 15 years course of experience. Working with a farm of animals to a pup or cat on the lap. Growing up with 12 horses, 2 mules, 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 chinchillas, and an array of different animals on job, even those of the exotic type, I will be happy to discuss the care of your animals and the special needs they may have whether it be medication or particular daily rituals. Outside the world of pets I have been a general contractor/handy man for 7 years and can build/repair from the ground to the roof of your property and home with a experienced keen eye for detail with problem solving abilities. With some common sense, a country and well diverse background as well an eye for cleanliness, I hope to be a capable and considerate carer :) I've got ample availability to care for your animals whether it be one small cat to a farm full of animals, I am here to supply the highest quality of care and attention with loads of love to your fur babies. I am not able to provide boarding at the moment as I have 3 dogs and 2 cats of my own but with be happy to watch and care for your pets at your home for whatever length of time needed to give you confident your home and animals are in loving capable hands.

I am the trusted pet-sitter for my colleagues, caring for their dogs & cats when they are away. I am very comfortable with dogs of all sizes, and I have experience with senior dogs and their special needs. As an active person myself, l love taking dogs on hikes, walks, and finding open areas to throw a ball or frisbee. I understand how important it is to keep pets safe, comfortable, and happy! I work full-time during the week with flexibility in my hours. I can adjust my work hours when needed for a mid-day pottie break or check-in. I'm able to provide in-home & overnight care for pets who are able to be alone for several hours (if there is no pet door to the outside). I have full evening and weekend availability and can do drop-in visits and walks. I follow house & pet routines when providing in-home care. I can only provide care in my home for pets who can be alone for several hours.

About: I love my experiences with my canine friends, and felines too. I have been the primary care person for numerous furry friends though my life although not currently. I have enjoyed numerous pet sitting jobs, including for elderly and crippled dogs, here in the Verde Valley and have a pet-friendly vehicle for potential nature hikes. Since I am retired, it's easy to program my personal interests (writing, web programming, music editing, reading) amongst the needs of my clients, human and non. I bring them outside if appropriate, feed them as wanted, medicines as required, walking, talking, petting, playing, and give them personal space as they may prefer.

About: I have owned almost every animal you could possibly think of and am very knowledgeable in caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, birds, and fish! I am a stay at home mom so I am free almost all day every day! I am super flexible a willing to make what works best for you possible! I do have a six month old that does not take a bottle and would have to come with me but he is around animals all day and knows he’s not aloud to touch them! I have lots of cats and dogs who bolt to the door every time you open it so I very good at getting in and out super quick!

About: I have been passionate about animals since early childhood. My experience spans domestic pets, exotic animals, farm animals, and service dog training. Below is an overview of my lifelong work with animals: Early Childhood & Domestic Pets: -Began caring for animals at age 5 with three cats and my first dog (a Maltese) at age 8. -Personally responsible for training and caring for my dog from a young age. -Attended weekly dog obedience classes as the only child—my dog was often the most well-trained in class! -Raised and trained multiple dogs growing up, including Maltese and Border Collies. -As an adult, I have lived with and trained various breeds including Border Collies, Siberian Huskies, Dachshunds, and many toy dog mixes. Volunteer Work & Ranch Life: -Volunteered at the Ogden Nature Center, caring for tortoises, snakes, tarantulas, sea birds, and birds of prey. -Grew up on a ranch caring for over 20 chickens, 20 rabbits, 3 horses, 7 cats, a dog, and 3 cows. -Frequently served as a trusted house-sitter for friends’ and neighbors’ farms. -Experienced in horse husbandry and enjoy working with all farm animals. Service Dog Training: -Personally trained my Border Collie, Maki, as a certified service dog through a professional 6-month training program under the direct supervision of a certified handler at Ty The Dog Guy. -Received hands-on education in service animal training protocols, behavior management, and handler skills. -Maki now accompanies me as a fully trained service dog, with experience traveling and performing under high-pressure conditions. As a full-time indie author, I can take my work anywhere and have a highly flexible schedule. I teach one class a week at a local Sedona yoga studio and work part-time at a crystal boutique. Outside of those brief commitments, I’m home writing, reading, or happily spending time with animals. If I’m ever away from your home, it won’t be for more than 5–6 hours at a time. For pets that need specialty care—like puppies, senior dogs, or animals with specific routines—I can easily rearrange my day to be fully present and attentive. You let me know your pet’s schedule, and I’ll make it happen. I offer in-home pet sitting to keep your animals comfortable and stress-free in their familiar environment. My care style is attentive and proactive—I follow your pet’s routines for feeding, exercise, playtime, and snuggles while ensuring their space stays safe and clean. I’m excellent at puppy-proofing and making sure curious pets stay out of harm’s way. With over two decades of animal care experience, I’m confident in recognizing early signs of discomfort or distress. I have basic dog first aid knowledge, so I’m prepared to handle minor injuries or emergencies calmly and effectively. My goal is always to give your pets the same love, attention, and structure they’re used to, so they feel secure while you’re away.

About: My entirely life I have never been without a pet more then 6 months. I am very good with them and I love them all I’m a stay at home fur baby house. I absolutely love dogs , they love me. I just have a thing in me. Never met a dog i could not train. Every fur baby i have ever met i love. I even will rehome vermin because i can’t kill them. I have a Fenced in yard with lots of corners to explore. Love taking walks . And play with my furchildern. Tug of war and fetch are favorites please be advised I only take dogs from 1-30 lbs. however there is not a button for that only from 16-40.

“I am so happy I found Lori and her nephew Jake. We had to fly across the country to LA recently for my sister's wedding with our 2 dachshunds. They've both had back issues and we were nervous about leaving them with someone other than family. Lori put all our worries to rest. Within a minute of meeting the dogs, she knew their personalities and predicted how they would react in situations and she was right! She really is like the Dog Whisperer and the way she introduced her dogs to ours and got them all playing together was amazing. We were in awe and completely comfortable leaving our dogs with her and Jake while we were doing pre-wedding stuff. Jake is like the Pied Piper and our little one Lokie took to him right away. On the day of the wedding, when we went to pick up the dogs and bring them and Jake to the hotel room so he could stay with them during the wedding, our older one Pinot kept crying until Jake got into the car with us. Jake was kind to the dogs and texted me pictures and updates before I even had to ask. He was also very respectful of being in our hotel room, and wasn't even going to order dinner until I insisted he order room service. I trusted him completely and he did not disappoint. I am so thankful we found Lori and Jake to make the visit to LA worry free and fun for the dogs. I only wish I could have brought them back to New York with us! ”
