I understand pets have their own unique personalities and need different care/attention to make them be there best! I would love to be able to care for your pet and I will gladly help give them what they need to be happy and healthy while you’re away I work full time at a tennis facility but my hours make sure that pups get morning and afternoon walks just fine! (Plus tennis balls!) I am more than willing to care for and accommodate basic pet needs as well as more complicated ones. I prefer care be written down somewhere for later reference if needed. Water will always be full and available and anything that may cause harm to your pet (wires, small or sharp objects, etc) will be out of reach or inaccessible to your pet through height/doors/secured areas.

About: Hi there! I’m Jamie, and if I’m being honest... I love animals more than humans most days. With over 30 years of hands-on experience caring for everything from puppies to parrots—and even the occasional goat—I’ve built a life around making animals feel safe, happy, and loved. Whether you're headed out of town or just need a hand with your furry (or feathery, or scaly) family members, I'm here to make things easier for both you and your beloved creature friends. My goal? Zero stress for you, and tail wags, purrs, or chirps of joy for them. 🐶🐱🐥 Who I Care For: I care for all kinds of animal companions, including: Dogs (all ages & sizes) Cats (sassy to snuggly) Birds (my personal favorite!) Reptiles & Amphibians Rodents, Rabbits, Goats, Chickens... you name it! If they’re not human and you love them—I want to care for them. 🐕 Dog Experience: Puppies: potty training, basic commands, playtime! Seniors: medication, gentle physical therapy, stroller walks (yes, I have one!) Experience with dogs from 8–85 lbs and ages 2 months to 17 years 🐈 Cat Experience: Comfortable with all cat personalities (aloof, cuddly, spicy) Experience with elderly and sick cats, including medication administration 🐦 Bird Experience: Over 2 years of bird care experience Former bird rescuer & re-releaser (yep, I caught lost birds in buildings!) Passionate about bird behavior, feeding, handling, and enrichment 🦎 Amphibian & Reptile Experience: Experience with frogs, toads, turtles, and even an axolotl Open and eager to follow your specific care routines 🐾 Other Critters: I may not have decades of experience with rodents, bunnies, chickens, or goats—but I follow instructions to a T and learn fast. If you tell me what your animal needs, I’ll make sure it’s done right—with love and care. 💬 My Care Philosophy: Every animal is unique—and so is every pet parent. I never assume I know better than you when it comes to your pet's needs. I’ll love your animal like family, but I’ll always respect your rules, routines, and preferences. You can count on me to be reliable, communicative, and compassionate. 🌟 New to Rover, Not New to Animals While I’m just starting out on Rover, I bring decades of animal experience and a deep love for every creature I meet. Give me a chance, and I promise—you’ll be able to relax knowing your animal companions are in caring, capable hands. Let’s chat about how I can help make life a little easier—for you and your creature friends. 🐾💛 I’m currently not working and I’m ready to be there to play with your pups or other critters when you need me. I can generally respond to last minute requests if necessary, but appreciate as much of heads up as possible. I have a fenced in yard, one small, elderly and kind of cranky dog, two cats, and three teenage humans (who all love animals as much as I do!). When it comes to caring for your pets in my home, I have to be a little more discerning as I have the needs of my own animal friends to consider. I can care for potty trained, non-dominant, non-aggressive, and very calm dogs and cats in my home. I can also care for caged or tanked creature friends in my home.

About: Ever since I was young I have been surrounded by animals and have always found a connection with them. I have watched and cared for pets owned by friends and neighbors since I was 12 years old. I am currently working part time and have plenty of spare time to take care and entertain your furry friends! I work 2-10pm some days, but message me and we can work out a schedule together! I am flexible and can accommodate accordingly. I prefer to take care of animals in the comfort of their own home. I am very respectful and a trusted individual so your animals and space are safe with me.

About: I've had dogs most of my life, growing up I had a mutt named Spot, then a Shih-tzu named Patches, while living with my sister I got experience with larger breeds as she had three bully/rottweiler mixes, and currently I live with an Akita Inu service dog that I care for. I am currently a live in caregiver for a disabled friend of mine and when I'm not taking care of him my schedule is very open for things like walks, check-ins, and brief housesitting. I treat all animals with the same care and respect I would want shown to my own pets. Their care and comfort are my top priorities, making sure they are safe, comfortable, and well cared after.

“Oriana came and watched our dog in a somewhat-emergency, last-minute, unreasonable request. She did an amazing job, our dog seemed to like her, and we are more than happy with the result!”

About: I have always loved caring for animals! I grew up on a dairy farm and took care of dogs, cats, goats, cows, pigs, horses, and pretty much anything with 4 legs! I’m a caretaker at heart. I work full time as a nurse at a local hospital. I would love to care for your pet, just as I would care for my own. I work full time as a nurse. But, on my days off or after work- I will be available for drop in visits and walks. I care for my cat- Skunky everyday. She has been with me for over 10 years. Sadly, as she gets older she has needed a lot more care. Daily, I administer medication, groom, and feed her. I have learned a lot about pet care both through this experience and growing up on a farm.

About: I've always been passionate about dogs and can hardly remember a time when I didn't have one of these amazing, loyal companions by my side. I've been dog sitting for friends and family members for years, and I enjoyed it so much that I decided to branch out so that I can meet even more fur friends. I also do dog training/owner coaching, and I believe it's never too late to teach a dog new tricks. My schedule has changed where I no longer work remotely, which means my availability is limited. However, that hasn't changed my love of dog sitting, and so I will still watch my fur friends on a part time basis, schedule permitting. I have a huge back yard with a 6 ft privacy fence for ample room to run and play and even a doggie pool to splash around in to stay cool. My house is a couple blocks down from the trail for my fur friends who love to go for walks to get some of that extra energy out.

“She was so lovely and sweet, she took such good care of my dog! She checked in after every visit and it was such a relief seeing the pictures ans comments about their day or what they did. Definitely booking again!”
