“Heather was an amazing house sitter for my 2 dogs. One is an older dog and another a 7 month rambunctious puppy. She was able to relate to each and provided equal attention. I was especially concerned because I had never been away from my puppy but she provided reassurance with lots of hugs and letting him frolic in the yard along with his older brother! I received multiple daily updates and she was even able to do a few dog lessons! I can’t say enough about Heather and will absolutely book her again!”

“I trusted Aly as soon as I met her. She proved completely worthy of that trust. Her focus was entirely on the my dogs and their quirks and their needs. I was able to get through a very difficult weekend and never once worried about my dogs’ wellbeing or comfort. 10 out of 10 I would recommend Aly to take care of your beloved pets.”

“Lauren was friendly and even came a little early! I left for work knowing Diego was a happy pup in good hands. He greeted her with lots of kisses and even took the initiative to find out where cleaning supplies were after I mentioned Diego happy pees and cleaned up after him without needing to be asked. We will definitely be repeat customers! Thanks Lauren :)”

“We are so thankful we found Caylene! Our dogs love her & had the best time with her while we were away. It’s always comforting to have someone you can trust to care for your fur babies when you’re not home. The dogs can’t wait for their next visit!”
“Lindsey was amazing with our dogs and she took great care of our house during her stay. She provided some training and reported their progress to me. The house looked the exact same as I left it (she left no mess behind). She washed the sheets on the bed and remade the bed. She cleaned all towels that she used and folded them for me. She was quick to respond every time I messaged her. I highly recommend Lindsey for any pet sitting or house sitting. You will not be disappointed.”

“Oksana and her daughter were amazing doggie and house sitters. They took very good care of our pup and also the house. I appreciated how clean they left everything and all the pics they sent. Lucy loved them!”

“Amber was great with my doggie. My doggie was having pain issues before I left him. Amber kept me informed w updates and pictures which made a world of difference. Highly recommend her as an overnight house sitter.”

“This was the first time we left our puppy Fiona. We left her with Evangeline and couldn’t be more pleased. Fiona loves her. Our puppy and home were very well taken care of. We would definitely use Evangeline again!”

“Having never been left alone since the passing of her brother (they used to board together in a kennel) we were concerned about what to do with our senior dog, Abby, during a 10-day trip to Europe. We turned to Rover.com since we felt staying in her familiar home would be better and Abby would receive more attention and activity. We reached out to Lauren who got back to us in minutes and arranged an in-home "meet and greet" visit. She and her partner came by to visit and we were immediately impressed with her kind way with Abby, her approach to staying here with Abby, and her experience taking care of dogs. We were very pleased with her care of Abby, the updates she would send us along with photos of Abby were very helpful, and it was nice to know they were all getting along well -- and at the same time, our home was being cared for along with Abby! They had car rides and visits and walks and Abby did very well with her new friends right in her own home. When we returned home, our place was clean and tidy, sheets were washed and folded, Abby was happy and doing well. Our neighbors told us how nice they were and that Abby was happy during her walks. We were very glad to have found Lauren and Ali and would not hesitate to have them stay with our little one in the future! Excellent care and support for our doggie and for us.”

“Michael was great... he kept me updated with photos and was in and out as if he was never there! Followed my requests for my dog to a T! Highly, highly recommended! Very responsive. Thank you, Michael!”
“This was our first time using a professional pet sitter and we were going on a trip where we had limited access to email, text, message and phone. It was very difficult for us to leave our pups with someone we didn't know, but let me tell you...I've never seen my pups happier when I returned home. Nate sent lots of updates, so that we would know what was going on at home and contacted me immediately when he thought something wasn't right with one of my pups. Nate also left our home in pristine condition. I highly recommend Nate as a pet sitter and we will definitely use him again.”

About: I have over six years of experience in animal care and am eager to continue my career. My goal is to work at a veterinary clinic or hospital, or establish my own mobile grooming business after completing grooming school. In my previous role at Sobo Dog Daycare, I gained experience maintaining a safe environment for dogs and recognizing canine body language and behaviors. I'm currently working from home part time as well as doing this part time. My hours are flexible and I'm usually always able to adjust my schedule to accommodate to my rover clients schedule! I can provide care to both, long stays at clients residence or I can provide boarding services in my home!! Whatever is the best for the client and also for the pet parent as well! If im boarding I suggest bringing anything that is favorable, toy or bed, blanket ect its easier for them to get adjusted to the new environment if they have something familiar from home with them.
Berkeley pet parents share their Rover experiences
Dianne did a fantastic job of taking care of our dog Katie. She kept me informed every day and sent great videos! I was very anxious about leaving Katie but Diane put me completely at ease with her regular updates and videos. I would highly recommend Dianne and we will definitely request Dianne’s services in the future. Thank you Dianne!

Karolina was amazing from start to finish! She cared for our three dogs—Minnie, Daisy, and Penny—and our cat Bean while we were away in Florida. Two of our dogs are extremely shy and usually take a long time to warm up to anyone, but Karolina was so patient and kind with them. She didn’t rush the process; instead, she spent time just being present and letting them get used to her on their terms. Karolina also kept us updated the whole time with pictures and messages, which helped ease my mind while we were away.
