About: Hi, I’m just a Friends University student that would love nothing more than to call this my job. I’ve always loved animals and have pet -sitted for neighbors etc. over the years. I also have first hand experience working as a camp counselor for kids - after that, pets seem like the easiest job in the world. I have gaps thru the entire day and will soon be done with the semester, so am basically free to pet sit whenever and wherever as needed by you. It’s entirely up to you. I am able to care for your pet in whatever manor may be necessary. If it means giving them meds, belly rubs, or taking them on a walk, I am happy to! About: I’m exceptional in training puppies, cats and dogs. If necessary I can discipline although I prefer positive encouragement towards good behaviour with rewards. I love teaching commands using an animals favourite treat or a clicker, whichever is more effective. When it comes to older animals it’s critical for me to be aware of and understand their history. Dietary restrictions, sleeping/eating habits, medication and application processes, etc. I love all animals but ultimately will treat them as family with the love and support they each deserve. I’m currently working as a part time Youth Director at a local church so I have plenty of time throughout my days to play with and care for your furrr babies. My main goal currently is to fill in the gaps of my day to day with joy and happiness that only pets can bring. We all need something to look forward too to make life enjoyable and for me right now that’s figuring out how to play with as many animals as possible to make sure they’re all loved while you’re away. Our home has as expansive enclosed back yard for dogs to run around in and play or simply take a potty break. Our living room and kitchen area are great open places for cats to explore and the basement is very clean and comfortable as well. Although, I prefer to go to a cats home instead because as you know being a cat owner most cats dislike change of environments or any change in general for that matter. When it comes to walks I like to take as many precautions as viable. Dog parks are available and accessible more so during the day. There are plenty of nearby parks in my neighbourhood as well as bike paths and sidewalks. I’m open to any suggestions for locations or preferred methods of transportation as some animals dislike car rides so a simple walk around the block would suffice. I take any and all advice seriously when it comes to the attention and care of your animal.

We greatly appreciated her taking the time to do a meet and greet with him so he would be comfortable with her before she stayed. We knew right away that she has a true passion and great knowledge of caring for dogs. He instantly took to her calming nature. Our boxer gets a little separation anxiety from us being away and her compassion for making sure he felt loved and comfortable put him right at ease. She truly went above and beyond. As a worried dog mom, her constant updates made me feel so much better knowing he was doing well. I loved getting her frequent photos and videos of him through the day. She stayed at our home over the 4th of July weekend and we had some periods where fireworks were giving him anxiety as well. She was so patient with him and stayed in his room with him so he felt comforted. When we arrived home our house was left just the way we left and our boy was happy as can be! We won’t go to anyone else for watching our boy! If you have the opportunity to book with Stacy you will be so lucky! We are so grateful we found her.”

However, they do receive ample time in the evenings to play and exercise. Weekends are spent adventuring with pups! During the summer (May-August), I am home most days and have lots of time to care for all pets! Frequent potty breaks or walks are doable. I have a 5 year old Cavapoo named Pico who will keep all dogs company. He enjoys taking friends along with him on walks, runs, and trail adventures. He is treated as a child in our home, and your pet(s) will be as well! Dogs are allowed on all furniture and beds. Crating is available if necessary.

About: I have had experience with every age of both dogs and cats from newborn to senior. I've bottle fed puppies and kittens, potty trained them, adopted them out, kept some, raised them through their adult life, and cared for them as seniors. I've also taken in many strays and fosters and nursed them back to health, whether it was some scratches or they just weren't doing good, and found good homes for them. I know how to bottle feed, ween, potty train, groom, give medication, clean/sanitize injuries, and much more. I also volunteer in humane societies so that has given me advice and techniques for helping earn animals trust, especially when they are being boarded in an unknown house. I work from home so I am almost always there, unless I have to run to the store or do some quick errands. If I happen to visit friends or family, go to a sit down restraunt, or do anything else that might take longer, it will never be for more than 2-3 hours. I do not kennel unless necessary or if requested (during feedings, if I have to run somewhere, in emergencies, ect.), so they will have free reign otherwise. If they have a feeding schedule, great, if not, I'll make sure the bowls always full. Fresh water is always available in multiple locations. I don't have a fence so dogs will always be leashed going outside and will be taken whenever they want to or every couple hours. Cats litter boxes are spot cleaned once a day, and switched once a week or when needed if they will be staying for longer. My golden rule is treat others how you want to be treated, and that extends to animals aswell. I don't yell, ignore, or force anything to do something that isn't necessary. Obviously no one wants to take medication, but if they have to, I'll be as quick and careful giving it as I can.

About: I have had pets since I was a young child. I have always been the volunteer to take care of friends and family’s pets whenever they needed care. My family and I do have fur babies of our own and we take training and care seriously. We believe in not only nourishing their bodies, but their minds and spirits as well! Enrichment toys and activities are in abundance. I work from home and have ample time to care for your fur kiddos. We have a large fenced backyard for play, during the summer months we have water activities for the doggos that like to play, if you allow. We play fetch, we have tug toys for the trees, and other outdoor activities with plenty of space for running! While in my care your fur kiddo will be loved and treated like our own. I will be home to tend to their needs, will follow their care plans, and play with them to ensure their time spent in my care is the best! We have a large fenced yard with reinforced bases so they are safe to play to their hearts content!
