“My corgis Kulfi and Zoey (puppy) had a great time with Zhou. They stayed overnight for a week while we were out on vacation. Zhou is like a dog whisperer as my dogs went after him the first time they met him and just followed him to his car. Zhou took great care of my dogs and introduced them to other dogs and engaged them in playtime and walks. He followed my feeding and playtime instructions and regularly shared pictures of their activities. I’ll recommend Zhou to anyone looking to board their dogs.”

About: I’ve had a dog most of my life, but I’ve owned Cavaliers for 15 years. I’ve cared for multiple dogs (and cats) at one time. I prefer to care for dogs in your home. I can also care for fish, chickens and do general housekeeping. I reside in El Dorado, but for the last year, I have been substitute teaching in the Wichita metro area. Therefore, I do have some flexibility in my schedule at this point. I’m able to do potty runs during the day provided the distance allows it. I prefer to care for pets in my client’s home so that the dogs are used to their normal environment and routine. If needed, I can care for a single small-medium sized dog in my home, although the dog must be comfortable being on a leash as I do not have a fenced yard. Also, I am not a smoker or drinker.

My parents still have the now 19 year old kitty we got when I was 13, and the only reason he didn't move when I did is that a kitty that old would not have dealt well with 14+ hours of travel including an 8 hour flight. Currently own 2 cats of my own, one of whom is a prissy little diva, and the other is a gremlin who can't be left alone with foam.

“Veronica provides a safe, cosy place for dogs to stay when they can’t go with their owner, and my dog Bear was treated like family. Bear is almost 14 years old and not interested in playing, but he got along well with Veronica’s gentle dog, who Veronica carefully introduced to him. He likes to be with people, and he was so comfortable with Veronica that he relaxed at my feet when she and I chatted, instead of pulling me out the door. Veronica was very careful to help Bear negotiate around her house, as he doesn’t see well, and she was clever in making sure he could safely go out. Bear says he would go back anytime and I can heartily recommend Veronica to care for beloved pets.”
About: I grew up in a pet loving family, we always had at least 5 fur babies! I loved having the responsibility of caring for them by myself. I would sometimes bring them over to my neighbors for play dates, I could teach them tricks and play with them all day. About: I currently work as a zookeeper and have years of wild and domestic animal experience. Working with wild animals means I have a much deeper understanding of animal husbandry, psychology, and behavior that allows me to provide better care for your pet! I'm especially comfortable around and handling large dogs due to the nature of my job. Professionally, I have cared for a variety of wild animals including large cats like lions, tigers, and leopards, dolphins, seals and sea lions, and several canid species. That being said, I'm able to provide a deeper level of personalized care. I currently work 5 days a week, usually Wednesday-Sunday. On my weekend, I'm home all day. On my workdays, I'm able to leave during lunch to provide dogs with potty breaks. There is a dog park within walking distance of my apartment that I bring my dogs to every morning and evening. I do also have a dog potty set up inside my apartment just in case a dog can't wait for me to get home. I provide this because I personally wouldn't make myself hold it, so I would never force a dog to do the same. I provide a very safe, relaxing environment where your dog will be treated like family. I approach care with a proactive approach, rather than reactive. This means I always keep a close eye on individual pet behavior as subtle cues can indicate how a pet is feeling at a given moment. Many pet owners miss out on these cues, especially if they aren't trained to look for them. The damage will be repaired soon and until then, I don't let anyone out there without supervision. For house sitting or drop-ins, I treat your pets the way I would want mine treated. I also try to match any routines your pet might be used to, if it's eating at a certain time or always being let out at a certain time, just let me know and I'll make sure to keep things as familiar as possible for your furry friends.

I'm currently working from home so I have my own schedule. Weekends are great too. You're furry friend will have plenty of good loving fun. I have a fenced area and dog run to let your beloved dog run and play. I also like taking my own dog to the dog park to meet and greet other pets.

About: I've had a cat in my life since the day I was born, my parents still own the one we got when I was 13 (he's now 19 and going strong). I also walked a neighbour's dog from 12 to 21 (a lhasa apso) and have experience walking other dogs in a range of sizes, from papillon up to a 100+lb show golden retriever. Currently living the housewife life so schedule is flexible as heck. My own animals have a flexible feeding schedule in that they don't like food to be late, but if it's early they are thrilled. If your dog is crate trained, I'm willing and able to continue that as needed. Open to whatever walk length is needed for the pet in caring for. Willing to walk cats too if your kitty is leash trained (one of mine is and loves his outside time).

About: I have done rescue work for dogs. I actually have two dogs of my own one. I saved from the Humane Society and one I saved for a rescue who is going to be put to sleep for no reason. I am currently not working so I would be home all of the time with them. They would get all the attention in the world. We have a a fenced in backyard that they would be able to run around in and the cats would be kept inside and fed. What food daily if you please. I have a fenced in backyard and two very very friendly dogs who love new friends. Your dog would be very loved and taken care of. I also have four cats who love to have new friends in they would be very loved and taken care of and would not be let outside at all

About: Hi! I have taken care of animals since I was a young child. I grew up taking care of a German Shepard and two cats. When I was a teenager I was the primary caretaker for my cat. From age 16-20 I volunteered at two animal shelters working with horses, farm animals, dogs and cats. “My corgis Kulfi and Zoey (puppy) had a great time with Zhou. They stayed overnight for a week while we were out on vacation. Zhou is like a dog whisperer as my dogs went after him the first time they met him and just followed him to his car. Zhou took great care of my dogs and introduced them to other dogs and engaged them in playtime and walks. About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs and friends’ dogs since I was a child. I’ve also trained my own. We love dogs of all breeds! I work from home with a flexible schedule and my dog is with me all day. Kennel trained is preferred in case I do leave the house. My own dog, Olivia, loves to play with dogs of all sizes! She has a fenced in area to get her zoomies out or play fetch. She also loves walks and car rides. She is kennel trained and often in there if I leave the house for long periods. I have a camera on in this room so I can peep at her! I would provide this same love and care for your pet. We do have a cat, Stormi, who couldn’t care less what is going on in her house. She stays in her own zone!
