“LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Hermun was AMAZING! Our house was being tented and we had a place to "board" our fur babies....They had never been boarded. We didn't know what way turn. We went and toured a Doggie Day Care place....There were so many dogs barking it gave me anxiety much less the dogs! I came across Rover.com and reached out to a few Doggie Lovers. Our first in-house interview was not great, BUT then we had a second interview with Hermun, and we were so excited that we had found the perfect place to leave our babies. She was kind, clean, loving, communicative, and super accommodating. We received pictures, and daily updates, and the boys were SUPER happy when we picked them up. We felt as though they were receiving the same love and care with Hermun as we would have supplied in our own home. Would ABSOLUTELY use Hermun again!”

About: Hi! I'm Emory - I grew up with Golden Retrievers my entire life, and in my adult years I’ve rescued three mixed-breed dogs from the shelter ranging from staffy's, dachshunds, and chihuahua's. I live with my boyfriend Quinn who also grew up with dogs, and together we have rescued a dog of our own, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of our lives. After our own dog passed away a couple of months ago, we decided to hold off on getting one of our own right away and to help take care of other dogs instead. We have pet-sit for our friends and family for years, and also used Rover as a customer for our previous dog so I understand how important it is to trust the people caring for your pet and to provide lots of updates! During the week, I work a hybrid schedule, so your dog will get plenty of attention and companionship. On my work from home days, I’m home all day for walks, playtime, and lots of attention. Even on the days I go into the office, I’m only about 15 minutes away. I typically leave around 8am, come home during my lunch break from 12–1pm, and Quinn is home by 4pm, so dogs are never left alone for more than 4 hours at a time. They’ll get a walk before work, another walk and playtime during lunch, and plenty of walks, love, and attention in the evenings! Our home is very dog-friendly! Dogs are welcome on the furniture, get plenty of affection, and are treated like part of the family while they’re with us. Because I have rescued dogs from the shelter, we also have experience working with dogs who need a little extra patience and understanding. I know every dog has a different personality and comfort level, so will do our best to make them feel safe and loved.
“This was my first time using rover and let me tell you: I had a very positive experience 🫶 Both Josh and his wife watched Bruno for a week and treated Bruno like part of their family. Initially, I was worried about leaving Bruno with another family but on day one after getting updates and photos, I knew he was in the right hands. Bruno even seemed a little sad to be leaving his new friends 🥺 They communicated with me all week and most days I got photos and videos🤍 I truly appreciated them giving Bruno all the love and attention he normally receives at home with us. Bruno was even allowed to sleep with them and hang out on the couch! And I know he loved their backyard and their dog. We had a great experience with Jocelyn! Maverick was happy, well cared for, and it was clear he received lots of love and attention during his stay. She provided updates and pictures frequently, which is something that I looked forward to everyday while I was away. He unexpectedly had an upset stomach one night, and she handled everything with kindness, kept me updated, and made sure he was comfortable. I truly appreciated Jocelyn’s patience and communication through an unpleasant situation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a sweet and reliable sitter!
Samuel was awesome! Theo had a wonderful stay in a lovely neighborhood! Samuel was extremely responsive, sent updates and pictures, and was flexible for our drop off and pick up times. We couldn’t ask for more and would highly recommend him to watch your fur babies! Very thankful to find such an excellent and professional home to host our furriest family member.
I could not have asked for a better option to leave our furry family member with. Silvana, her husband and Felix (her son) cared for our dog like she was a member of their family. We got updates each day (multiple times a day, with pictures) of Gracie being spoiled and living her best life. Highly recommend, you will be glad you did! We will absolutely be booking with them again, anytime we have the chance and I know Gracie will look forward to going back!!!
Katie was amazing! I was so afraid to leave Elvis at someone else's house/with someone he doesn't know but she gave my little guy the 5-star treatment and made sure he was comfortable the whole time! She asked great, thorough questions about his routine/any special needs/etc at the meet-and-greet which was a big green flag. She also sent lots of photos and updates during his stay, and made sure he had everything he needed before I dropped him off. Her pups were extremely friendly and got along great with Elvis, who can be quite shy at first. She has a beautiful, clean home with a nice big backyard that Elvis loved to hang out in. I will be using Katie for all future stays for Elvis and would 100% recommend (coming from an anxious dog mom!).
Would absolutely book with Dani and Todd again! While I was away, I received so many photos, which gave me peace of mind knowing Poppy was in great hands. They took her on walks, played with her, and truly made her feel at home as if she were part of their family. It was clear how well she was cared for, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!
Melinda and David were absolutely amazing! This was our first time leaving our 1 yr old doodle anywhere overnight and I was extremely nervous. Our pup can get super excited easily and sometimes have separation anxiety. Melinda and David reassured us, put our minds at ease and kept us updated daily with messages and photos while we were away.
