“Hermun is AWESOME!!! At the last minute, Patsy’s usual sitter had to cancel, and all of my other friends were out of town. Someone suggested Rover, but I had never used it, so I was very nervous about how Patsy would handle staying with a stranger; she is a rescue and often very shy around new people. At our first meet and greet, however, Patsy immediately warmed up to Hermun and Max. Hermun was very welcoming, asked me about Patsy, and took the time to show me around her place, so I could see where Patsy would be spending her weekend. I left our first meeting feeling much more comfortable with the whole process. Hermun was flexible with drop-off and pick-up times, and sent numerous pictures of Patsy over the course of her stay; Patsy looked relaxed and happy in all of them. I’m currently a student at the University of Tampa taking some classes over the summer, so aside from that, I have all the time in the world to contribute to your pet! “This was my first time using rover and let me tell you: I had a very positive experience 🫶 Both Josh and his wife watched Bruno for a week and treated Bruno like part of their family. Initially, I was worried about leaving Bruno with another family but on day one after getting updates and photos, I knew he was in the right hands. With a structured daily routine, lots of attention, and a home full of care, we treat every dog like they belong with us. Your pup won’t be left alone in a quiet kennel environment—they’ll be included in family life, walks, and consistent companionship. Someone is almost always home too so you know your baby is in constant care. I am a preschool teacher and am off summer and holiday breaks. I work mornings and am only a 60 second walk from the church I work at so am available to come home quickly! We have watched many, many dogs for friends and family in past and now with the kids of age to work and the love of dogs we’re expanding! I am a preschool teacher at my church that is a 60 second walk from my house, I also have teenage triplets who both babysit and dog sit (they love to do both), so someone is always home and available for walks, feedings, and love. The triplets are very active sports wise so having our own dog in this season isn’t an option so we love any and all opportunities to have one in our home, it is such a blessing! We have a wonderful, quiet street near Bayshore perfect for walking. Most of the people on our street our retired with dogs so dogs are the children around here! Having three teenagers as well who absolutely love dogs ensures your pup is being overfilled with love.

Silvana and her family made our Mack feel right at home! He walked in, grabbed a toy and a treat and became part of their family. We were unsure about leaving him overnight as we've only done that once when he was a pup (he's now 7) but they made him (and us) feel at ease and treated him like their own. We highly recommend and will book again!
Grateful that Hailey was willing to take Leo for 5 nights on relatively short notice. Leo was 10-11 months old and a rehome when we adopted him about 16 months ago, and this was his first stay away from our home, so you can imagine I carefully reviewed sitters on Rover. Hailey was my number one choice. She encouraged a meet and greet, which I also think is essential. Hailey listened carefully as I described Leo and his quirks. She gave Leo the space and time needed for him to settle in and warm up to her and she was quite prompt with meeting times and dog walks. Leo seemed quite content when I picked him up. I'd love to board Leo with Hailey again when the need arises.
Manuela did an outstanding job caring for my dog while I was away. She kept me updated twice a day with thoughtful messages and pictures, letting me know how he was eating, his mood, how his walks went, and how he was doing overall. Those updates gave me tremendous peace of mind and allowed me to truly enjoy my vacation knowing he was in great hands. It’s obvious that Manuela genuinely loves animals and takes pride in providing exceptional care. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely trust her with my dog again. Michael was amazing. We have had many rovers in Tampa and he was one of the best by far. He watched our dog over the Fourth of July for 10 days when our dog hates fireworks and he took such good care of him and made him so comfortable. He was so communicative and sent awesome pictures every day. We are so grateful for the care he provided and will definitely be using him again.
We had a great experience with Jocelyn! Maverick was happy, well cared for, and it was clear he received lots of love and attention during his stay. She provided updates and pictures frequently, which is something that I looked forward to everyday while I was away. He unexpectedly had an upset stomach one night, and she handled everything with kindness, kept me updated, and made sure he was comfortable. I truly appreciated Jocelyn’s patience and communication through an unpleasant situation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a sweet and reliable sitter!
Samuel was awesome! Theo had a wonderful stay in a lovely neighborhood! Samuel was extremely responsive, sent updates and pictures, and was flexible for our drop off and pick up times. We couldn’t ask for more and would highly recommend him to watch your fur babies! Very thankful to find such an excellent and professional home to host our furriest family member.
Carlee was so accommodating when our boarding plans fell through last minute. She responded quickly and answered all of my questions since this was our first experience using Rover. I received daily pictures and updates and knew she was in good hands. I will absolutely be booking with Carlee again!
Katie was amazing! I was so afraid to leave Elvis at someone else's house/with someone he doesn't know but she gave my little guy the 5-star treatment and made sure he was comfortable the whole time! She asked great, thorough questions about his routine/any special needs/etc at the meet-and-greet which was a big green flag. She also sent lots of photos and updates during his stay, and made sure he had everything he needed before I dropped him off. Her pups were extremely friendly and got along great with Elvis, who can be quite shy at first. She has a beautiful, clean home with a nice big backyard that Elvis loved to hang out in. I will be using Katie for all future stays for Elvis and would 100% recommend (coming from an anxious dog mom!).
Would absolutely book with Dani and Todd again! While I was away, I received so many photos, which gave me peace of mind knowing Poppy was in great hands. They took her on walks, played with her, and truly made her feel at home as if she were part of their family.
