About: I've had pets growing up and my own as an adult. I was taught pets are Family and that is how I care for my own, and other people's, pets. I can walk, clean up after, feed, and give medication to dogs. I've raised dogs from puppy through senior age and the peaceful passing on from this world. I work remotely, and make my own schedule, so I have a lot of flexibility to care for your fur baby. Walks, feeding, or sitting that works around whatever your schedule is. I live in a pet friendly apartment complex that has a fenced dog park and plenty of space to walk. I have a pet friendly apartment with a cat of my own currently. She's been around dogs and cats her entire life. Let me know your pets preferences and I'll accommodate to keep them comfortable and happy while you're away.
“Hannah was outstanding. I truly can’t say enough good things about her. I highly recommend her especially for people with dogs that are depressed when you leave town. You can tell she actually cares about your pet and their wellbeing.”

“Diana took the best care of our two kitties while we were away! She sent great photos and was a fantastic communicator. We came back to a clean home and happy cats. Thank you so much, Diana!”

“Brittany was great checking in on our dogs for a long weekend. She was timely, communicative, sent lots of updates and was able to help out on a last minute request. We’ll definitely reach out to her again next time we need a sitter/dog walker.”

“We had never had Christy as a pet sitter before and in every photo our little girl looked happy and well. Christy did an outstanding job and I have already recommended her to a friend. Christy had the added burden of giving our cat her daily antihypertensive soft chew which she did regularly.”

About: This is our first time sitting for other pets but we would love to treat everyone’s pet with respect and spoil them with love and affection We both work full time but we are available to do boarding and drop in visits and any other service during work days. As in before and after work. While we both work full time we have different days off and different times we work so we can always be one of us available I stay at a apartment complex but we have a dog park and my dog is getting crate trained at the moment but she loves other animals and would love a friend for the day!

“My kitten and crabby cat warmed up easily to Shelby during our meet and greet and now that I am back, I swear that they are looking for her. Shelby went above and beyond and I plan to use her again soon. I highly recommend her!”

“Poet was absolutely amazing with Bernoulli and Sunni. You can tell she genuinely cares about animals and treated them like her own. She kept us updated, made us feel completely at ease, and our pups came home happy and well cared for. We’re so grateful for her and would trust her again in a heartbeat 🤍”

About: I have had and cared for pets since I was 7. Currently we have 1 pup, 3 kitties & 2 gold fish. I am comfortable with all pets. I am currently retired so I have loads of time to love on your babies. My time is very flexible.I would consider boarding if needed. I am more than happy to walk your pups or play with them in their yard. If boarding is needed we have a very friendly staffy and a fenced yard. I can also crate if needed
“Fiona has been checking in on my two cats for the past 3 weeks and she has been very reliable. She’s spends time with the animals giving them so well needed attention and making sure they’re taken care of. Fiona has no issues with the instructions I’ve left for her and has done an amazing job with everything asked of her. She’s good with the animals and they love her maybe more than me. I always look forward to the cute pictures she sends of the cats. Highly recommend her.”

About: I have three cats of my own and have been around cats and dogs my entire life, so animals have always been a big part of me. I’m currently working on a startup business and attending classes, but my schedule is flexible. Just let me know when I’m needed, and I’ll accommodate. It’s easier for me to care for clients’ pets in their home or make drop-in visits, ensuring they receive attention, comfort, and proper care.
About: I've been caring for pets and farm animals since high school. Dogs are my favorite! Whether you have a puppy or a senior, I have cared for all. I am currently work from home, and my desk overlooks the back yard. So, I'll know immediately if your pup wants to stretch their legs and play or come in for a break. About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with 15 years of experience caring for pets. I currently have two cats of my own, so I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. My experience extends beyond cats to rabbits, reptiles, and amphibians. I’ve also volunteered at a metro dog park and am currently looking to volunteer at an animal shelter, to give me even more opportunities to interact with and learn about animals with different personalities and needs. I’m responsible, patient, attentive, and committed to providing the same loving care and attention I give my own pets. I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine, preferences, and special instructions to help them feel comfortable while you’re away. My schedule is very flexible, and I’m available any day and at any time to care for your pets. Having an open schedule allows me to be available when you need me, including weekdays, weekends, mornings, evenings, and holidays. I’m happy to work around your schedule and your pet’s routine to provide dependable, attentive care whenever you’re away. I care for every pet as an individual and take the time to learn their routine, personality, and specific needs. In your home, I will follow your instructions closely and keep your pets comfortable in their familiar surroundings. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, feeding, fresh water, litter or habitat care, and companionship as needed. I understand that pets can feel anxious when their people are away, so I’m patient and attentive and give them time to feel comfortable with me. I’m also experienced with cats, rabbits, reptiles, and amphibians, and I’m comfortable following specific care instructions for different types of animals. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away, while also keeping you updated so you can have peace of mind.
“I was so nervous having to leave town and not knowing how my two cats were going to be taken care of. I met with Peyton, and right away I knew everything was going to be okay. She was amazing with taking care of the boys, making sure they were fed, cleaned up after and played with them. She even sent me videos and pictures. If I have to leave again , I will definitely be booking with Peyton. Highly recommend.”

About: I am a college student who loves anything to do with animals, I love to play, walk, and hangout with animals of all kinds and ages! I go to school, but I don’t have any animals of my own here so I love surrounding myself with different animals as much as possible. I’m available most days to stay, walk, or just visit. I will always care to the best of my abilities for your pet. I only sit and walk at the clients home as the animals feel more comfortable there.
“My pup loves Heather! She was very communicative with me all during this process, and gives great details regarding her visit. My days are long and I think she does a good job of wearing my little guy out midday.”

About: Animals have been my passion since I was four years old. I’m currently a veterinary assistant preparing to start school to become a veterinary technician. I’ve grown up caring for family pets and now have three amazing dogs—small, medium, and large—so I’m comfortable with all sizes and personalities. One of my pups is an ESA, and while I know that title holds legal meaning, I truly believe every pet is someone’s emotional support. I care for each animal as if they were my own, with patience, love, and respect. Currently I am a full time veterinary assistant, so most days do end with me getting off at 7pm. I won’t let that stop me because I am still available for those after hour times. I am always off Thursday/Sunday and available after 3pm on Saturday (unless stated otherwise). My fur babies are very spoiled! They each have their own crates, open all day to lounge in if they please, a big fenced in yard and plenty of toys they love to share. I know the connection I have with them is very special, and I’m betting the connection I can make with yours will be just as special too.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bellview. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
