“Cannot recommend Emma enough. I booked with her kind of last minute but she was quick to respond and flexible with timing. She was super communicative during her visits with my cat, sending tons of pictures and info about how he was.”

“Diana is amazing! I hired her to drop in on my new puppy on my long work days. She has so much expertise and love to give. She communicates well and is very respectful of my home. I’ll continue booking her for as long as I can!”

“She was so great with our cat and sent pictures so we could see everything went well. It makes me feel comfortable being away when I know she's there for our pet :)”

“Maddy did an amazing job taking care of our cats in our home over the Christmas holidays. She was always on time, super kind, and very dependable. She kept us updated the whole time on how the cats were doing and what they were up to, which really put us at ease while we were away. She also sent us photos at every visit, which we really appreciated. We’re very thankful for Maddy and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.”

“Angela did a fantastic job watching our dogs while we were away! The dogs felt comfortable and trusted her completely. It was such a relief to travel knowing they were in great hands. We will definitely be booking her again!”

“Ingrid did a great job with our three senior dogs! We appreciated the messages on how they did and she was very attentive to their needs. We would definitely book with her again.”

“I was so anxious leaving my two cats while on a two week trip abroad - I’d never been away from them so far or for so long. It took a couple of days, but then they warmed right up to Jeanne. She had tuned into what they needed and provided consistent care - along with great updates and photos from each visit for me - allowing me to focus on my trip. When I returned, I found two happy, well-adjusted cats waiting for me. It was such a relief to know they were in such good hands with Jeanne!”

“Nora is super responsive and respectful. She instantly connected with my dog when they met for the first time. And she is very detailed in her notes. She was even kind enough to bring my garbage bin back in on a particularly windy day.”

“Leanna did a great job with my puppy Kairo. She was communicative and made me feel at ease leaving him home alone. Leanna spent time playing with my pup which he so desperately needs as an energetic puppy. I would recommend Leanna for anyone who needs a patient and caring sitter for their little one”

“We are so incredibly grateful to have found Chanda! It's not easy to trust your fur baby to someone new, but her kindness and groundedness put us right at ease. And our pup warmed right up to her as well. Chanda was very attentive to making sure she had all the instructions she needed in advance, confirming, and then following up with photos and a report on how it went. And she truly went above and beyond to help our pup get through a long day. We were able to enjoy our family event much more knowing our pup was lovingly cared for. Already rebooked!”

“Teressa was an absolute pleasure to have watching our babies while we were on vacation. She was very attentive and caring. Great communication and always there on time! We love her and our animals do as well! Would highly recommend her for any needs for your animals I know we will DEFINITELY use her again ❤️”
About: I've been taking care of animals since I was very young. Fur babies seem to seek me out, whether it is in nature or encounters on the street; you can catch me waving at animals before humans (lol). I've had dogs, cats, a horse, and bunnies off and on throughout my life. I just lost my bunny George, so finding Rover is the perfect opportunity to get some fur baby time in to help mourn my little love 🥲 Im excited to love on your babies if you'll have me 🫶 I'm currently very flexible with my time as I make my own hours. I would like to fill my time with fur babies as much as possible :) I will follow any instruction you have regarding your home and your furry companions. Safety and trust are important to me and I want to make sure you know your animals are loved by me too.

About: Hi, I'm Melissa! I grew up surrounded by pets, and that passion grew into a lifelong career in animal care. I bring over a decade of professional facility experience to Rover, including serving as a Pack Leader at Tailwaggers Doggy Daycare and spending seven years as a specialized Caregiver at the world-renowned Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. There, I worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and behavioral needs, including dog-selective and dog-aggressive behaviors. Currently, I keep my skills sharp working part-time as a Kennel Technician at a daycare and boarding facility right here in Green Bay. Because of my professional background, I’m highly experienced with administering medications, recognizing subtle body language, and reinforcing basic training. I know how important routine is, so I am more than happy to strictly follow whatever household rules you have set for your pet. Whether your furbaby is a social butterfly or a quiet soul who needs a patient, gentle approach, I have the intuitive skills to make them feel safe and loved. When I’m not caring for your pets, I’m hanging out with my own senior "puppy," a 9-year-old dog named Alba (pictured with me!), and my 14-year-old "kitten." I love house-sitting, overnight stays, and dog walking, and my ultimate goal is to give you total peace of mind while you're away. I can’t wait to meet your furbabies! My part-time schedule as a local kennel technician makes me incredibly flexible for pet sitting! I work from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM (about 25 hours a week), which leaves my entire midday window from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM wide open for lunchtime walks, playtime, and companionship. I am also available for quick check-ins before my morning shift, and my evenings are completely free after 6:30 PM for late-night cuddles and dedicated overnight stays. Because my daily job already centers around professional feeding, medicating, and cleaning, keeping your pet's routine seamless and sanitary between my shifts is second nature to me! My goal is to keep your pets in their happiest, most comfortable element, which is why I specialize in caring for them right in their own home! With over a decade of professional animal facility experience and a huge heart for all creatures, I pride myself on being the next best thing to you when you’re away. I am fully backed by Rover and prioritize open, consistent communication—sending you regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing they are in safe hands. As a major bonus, I am an exceptionally tidy person who genuinely enjoys cleaning. My past clients have always loved coming home to happy, healthy, stress-free pets and a thoroughly clean, respected house! 🧽🐾
“Allison was so wonderful! She really went above and beyond for our two dogs. We received so many great photos and her communication during the visit was excellent. Would highly recommend!”

About: I currently have a full-time job along with rover, if you are looking for 24-hour in-home pet care, I am available for that Saturdays and Sundays. I work 10AM-8:30PM on weekdays and will accept requests that allow my work schedule. If your animals are used to being left alone for 4-9 hours a day then I am a great option. I've grown up with dogs all my life, have pet sit for Rover with my family, and fostered in the past. I love bonding with every dog, and it's always sad to see them go. But with dog walking, it's only a brief goodbye. I currently work another job that im at between 6-8.5 hours 5 dayd a week. I prefer weekends over weekdays but am pretty flexible if it is needed. I will only walk dogs that are leash-on dogs for safety reasons, wouldn't want anything bad to happen on my watch. I can help to do a bit of in home care like food and water if needed.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bellevue. On Rover:
- 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
