About: I have experience caring for medium to large dogs, including administering medication, grooming, walking, and plenty of frisbee playtime. I also love both cats and dogs and truly enjoy providing attentive, compassionate care for them. I have a solid amount of hands-on experience caring for animals. My husband and I currently own an Australian shepherd named Tucker. I am currently working full time, but I am happy to provide drop-in visits and dog walking whenever I am available. I’m dependable, love spending time with animals, and enjoy making sure pets are well cared for, active, and comfortable while their owners are away. I am dependable and trustworthy with your fur babies and will care for them as if they were my own pets. I understand how important it is to know your animals are safe, loved, and well cared for while you are away.

“Kimberly is a fantastic cat sitter! Highly dependable and communicative, she enables me to have a peace of mind while I travel for work knowing that my cat (Xander) is in excellent care”

About: I have been around animals my entire life. From the family dog, to my own dog, and pet sitting for family and friends. I have experience with all sizes and breeds! I absolutely adore animals in general and am working towards having my own daycare/boarding center one day. I work from home and can watch your furbabies here anytime! I have some days of the week where I am off for the full day and can drop in at your place as well. My pupper is my baby and treated just like my son! I view dogs as part of the family which means snuggles on the couch and in bed. Time outside walking or playing fetch is a must! I also enjoy being able to go to pet friendly places such as the dog park, Bark & Brew, as well as pet friendly patios.
“Our dogs took to Amme right away, and so did we! She is easy-going, but also mature and reliable. She has been easy to reach and communicates before and after the visit. I recommend her!”

“Megan was awesome! She was on time for our meet and greet, she sent us photos during her visits and she let us know how our senior dog was doing. She was professional and courteous. We will definitely book with her again!”

“Allison has come 2 times now to take care of our 4 pets. She has been amazing! I have anxiety about leaving my animals and I feel at ease while she is there. She leaves such great detailed information about the visits and she takes great care in watching our animals. I am hoping she is always around to watch our animals!”
About: I am a licensed nurse who also has been working at a boarding/daycare/vet facility for the past 5 years. I’m well versed in different dog breeds/behaviors, as well as cats and exotic animals. My experience ranges from puppy’s-senior dogs. I am trained on insulin, medication administration, and nail trims. I work day shift currently, but am open nights/weekends for stops by, feeding/medications needs, or play time! I have 2 dogs of my own so they are always free for play dates. Biggest priority for me is making your animal comfortable and to feel safe! Letting them take the lead in getting to know my space or having me know theirs!

About: I’ve been caring for both dogs and cats for years through friends, family, and my own. I’m comfortable with different personalities, from playful, energetic pets to shy or older ones that need extra patience. I make sure pets are fed, exercised, and given lots of attention so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m reliable, responsible, and treat every pet like my own. My schedule is very flexible, so I’m able to provide pet care throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I plan my day around pet visits, walks, and check-ins to make sure each pet gets consistent attention and care. I’m reliable and available for last-minute needs, while still making sure every pet gets my full attention. I care for pets by following their usual routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. In a client’s home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get exercise or playtime, and receive plenty of attention. For cats, I keep litter boxes clean and respect their space if they’re more independent. For dogs, I provide safe, attentive walks and make sure they get enough activity. I also keep the home tidy and send updates so owners feel at ease while they’re away.

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:

- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
