“Jani & Paul were able to graciously accommodate my puppy for daycare on very short notice. He thoroughly enjoyed his stay and will most definitely be booking again. The best!!!”

“Hillary did a fantastic job watching our dog for the day. She is great at communicating and flexible. With our drop off and pickup times. We would definitely use her again. We really appreciate her letting us know details about his day.”

“Lady is a funny little Cavalier who doesn't have much interest in playing with balls or toys, or even other dogs, although she is friendly to them. She mainly just likes human companionship and sitting in people's laps! This was Lady's second visit to Svitlana for Day Care, and we are very thankful for the safe and cozy, quiet environment Svitlana provides in her home and securely fenced yard.”

“Natalie did a great job watching my large dog while I was in town visiting family for a funeral. It was extremely convenient my dog was well cared for and happy.”

“Kuma was so happy to be in such great care! Anatoliy had a huge yard for him to play around in and there were a lot of other pups to play with! He definitely had a great time today!”

“Joanna and her husband did a fantastic job of making Nikita feel comfortable and welcome! Kita takes a while to warm up to new people and places and has abandonment issues and anxiety when I'm gone, but after her first visit she was excited to get back to Joanna and her pup Azul! I also felt so much more comfortable about leaving Kita with Joanna because she was amazing about updating me and sending pictures of Kita! Altogether, Kita and I had a wonderful experience! Thanks, Joanna!! :))”

“We truly appreciate Brandy! We booked very last minute with brandy. Being on vacation we brought our epileptic pup and he wasn’t coping well in a new place being alone. So we downloaded this app for the first time and booked with her while we went out. She responded when I checked on him, and sent me pictures of him while he was with her. We are even booked an extra day with her while we were here because he did so well in her care! Thank you Brandy !!”

“We were visiting the area and needed a sitter in a pinch. Cory responded within minutes and was ready to take Juno in that same day. His house sits in a wonderful wooded area and is perfect for dog walking. He took Juno in, introduced her to his dog and cats, sent pictures, took her for a walk. It was clear he has experience and he and his family genuinely love to take care of dogs! Juno was happy and calm when we picked her up. We were very lucky that we found Cory and definitely highly recommend him!”

“Amanda was so kind and welcoming to my young pup!! She took him on walks and sent me photos of him!! I would 100% recommend asking Amanda to watch your pet, she will take great care of them. ☺️”

About: I have previously worked as a vet assistant in a veterinarian's office and as the rescue/foster/adoption coordinator at an animal shelter. I have over 25 years of personal experience and 5 years of professional experience taking care of pets of all ages, sizes and temperaments. I can administer medications orally, topically, give injections, and IV fluids with confidence. I'll take care of your pet as as if they were one of my own! For drop-in visits in your home, I am flexible throughout the week and have availability on weekdays and weekends. I am happy to come by anytime between 7 am and 10 pm. For doggy day care or boarding in my home, my office is 5 mins away from home. My partner works from home during the week and is glad to tag in to help with pet care as needed. I have my own vehicle and can easily travel to care for your pet in the Harrisonburg or Rockingham County area. I am happy to care for your pet in your home according to any instructions or requests that you share. I am also happy to water plants or bring in mail if you wish. After a successful meet and greet, I would be happy to host your pet in my home. There's a fully fenced yard and ample grass to romp in and take care of business. I live in a quiet neighborhood and am game to take your dog on a walk with mine. Pets are welcome on the furniture and there's even space to snuggle up in the bed if they're used to bunking up together at night. Our 7 year old female Yorkie is very dog-friendly and enjoys having company. She's a good playmate if your dog is up for a little tug on a toy or chase in the yard. She's also good at reading signs from dogs when they're done playing or want to be left alone. We would love to welcome you to our home for a meet and greet prior to booking to make sure everyone gets along.

About: I've owned and cared for dogs and cats my entire life, from raising litters of puppies to nursing sick kittens back to health. I’ve trained working ranch dogs, cared for senior pets, and managed special diets. I work from home, so your pet gets my full attention. Whether it’s playtime, walks, meals, or cuddles, their needs come first, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I provide loving, attentive pet care in my home or yours, following routines, ensuring proper nutrition, exercise, and comfort. About: I’ve taken care of dogs all of my life. Walking my neighborhood dogs when their owners were away and having 3 dogs of my own. We currently have an Australian Shepherd who is almost 3. We e had him since he was a puppy. I currently work from home so have time to care for your pup. We have a large fenced in yard and walk our dog down the street daily. I have a fenced in yard and one friendly Australian Shepherd. Our home is pet-safe. We have two cats that have their own space that dogs cannot get to in case they are not fond of each other.

“I was going through Charlottesville and desperately need someone to watch my dog for a few hours while I went to the doctor and took my car to be serviced. Aly was exactly who I was looking for, and more important, exactly who my dog needed.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 5 years old. I know the importance of routine and a peaceful environment for pets who are away from home. I also trained dogs for special services and obedience, so I have the inside scoop on dog-language. I work from home, so I am available at all times. We love to take walks. We have a very predictable home routine and value a peaceful calm home where pets can enjoy themselves. When in our home, your pet will have his or her own space. We have a lead so that your pet can enjoy outdoor time. We have a quiet open back yard with plenty of space. We are always around, so the pet will always be accounted for. When caring for your pet in your home, I will be sure to respect your entry/exit requests, and make sure your pet is comfortable and safe.

About: I have owned multiple dogs in my adulthood. I currently own a 2 year old golden who I have personally trained. I have worked at a dog day care for 5 months where I learned more about dog body language and how to diffuse any fights. I have walked and babysat dogs for friends. I consider all dogs to be my friends, because there is no such things as a bad dog. I work 12 hour night shifts Friday-Sunday. I am completely available Monday-Thursday, but can do some walks on weekends. Because my weeks are so open then I can spend more time taking care of pups. I have a friendly golden retriever who is only 2 (almost 3). She loves to play! She does great with other dogs (she used to have a brother) but also knows how to cuddle and chill. We have a big dog park that is hardly ever used where I could take her and yours.

About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and have taken care of relatives and friends dogs for years. I’ve helped my parents raise their dog from little to her seniorhood. I am home all throughout the day on weekdays and weekends!! I love animals and would be happy to work around someone’s busy schedule. I can travel to meet you at your need! I’ll work with your preferences and special needs. I can come walk your dog and stop by to make sure they are doing okay if need be. Every dog type, size, and age I can care for and have no problem being around and playing with. I would love to help you out and watch after your loved pets! I am able to care for dogs every day from morning to night as I am home during that time. I am able to fully provide all my attention to your pet. I live in a very safe and walkable neighborhood with a wonderful walking path. I also live a street away from a clean and safe dog park, that at your discretion would be happy to take your dog to.

About: I’ve been taking care of cats since I was 6 and after that eventually started taking care of dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs. I’ve also volunteered in multiple animal shelters and able to understand the need of any regular or special-need pet. I have worked a couple of years as a cat trainer as well. Currently I have three cats and two guinea pigs! One of my cat is a special need, incontinent cat, so I understand how to take care of a special fur-baby. I will take great care of your fur babies and make sure that they have a good time while you are away! I’m working from home and my husband works from home. We are available to take care of your fur babies on both weekends and weekdays! I am available to play with your dogs and cats after 5pm from Monday- Wednesday and all days on the other days. I have three very sweet and well behaved cats, they are indoor-outdoor and very friendly with neighbors cats and dogs. They will make your pet feel welcome and comfortable in my house. I have worked for years in shelters and took care of animals in need. I understand immediately if they are in distress, unhappy or scared. I can calm them down, will meet their needs and will be there are a friend and a caregiver.

About: Owner of a 501c3 animal rescue, I’ve worked with all types of critters. I’ve taken classes in wildlife rehabilitation, worked in dog training centers, and been employed in the county of LA handling overflow cases from Animal Control. I recently left my career behind to purchase a farm and dedicate myself full time to animals. Picking up a bit of work during the transition/ relocation to the farm. I own cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, fish, and a rabbit. I have a well practiced routine with my critters, leaving me open to help others with their babies. I have a few hours during the week I am unavailable due to helping out at a dog training facility (9 hrs/ wk). I am able to administer medications, spend time with more difficult or sensitive pets (plenty of patience for animals), and even implement any training techniques you’ve been working on with your babies. I’m definitely a believer in “no bad animals”. I also have an acre yard completely fenced in.

“We should be so lucky to have everything in traveling be as easy as having Jo take care of our pup. Jo is amazing. Our dog is a senior and does not like change. She took to Jo immediately. Jo completely understood her personality quirks. Jo is the first person who has taken care of her and she eats everyday we are gone. Jo takes pictures of our pup on every visit which sets our mind at ease. She loves playing ball with Jo and their visits together. My husband and I fully trust Jo with our girl and know that you will also.”

“We have gone through several dog sitters trying to find someone who is a perfect fit for our dog, Mila. From our meet and greet I knew Charity was who we needed. Dependable, trustworthy, and I can tell she’s got a soft spot for animals (she told us she even raised a service dog for a child with autism- how cool!) My dog loved her right off the bat and she listened to all of our preferences to a t. Charity was always on time and did everything that was asked of her. Not sure we will ever use anyone else!”

Caitlan F.
“I recently had the pleasure of hiring Caitlin as a dog sitter for my two furry companions and I cannot recommend her enough. From the moment I met her, I could tell she had a genuine love and passion for dogs. She was incredibly organized and efficient, making sure to get all the necessary information about my dogs' routine and preferences. During her time with them, she went above and beyond to make sure they were well taken care of, from regular walks and playtime to ensuring they received their medications on time. Not only did she provide excellent care for my dogs, but she also sent me daily updates with pictures which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. Caitlin's warm and friendly demeanor made it easy for my dogs to warm up to her, making their time together even more enjoyable. Overall, Caitlin is a wonderfully responsible and caring dog sitter who I would highly recommend to anyone in need of pet care services. I will definitely be hiring her again in the future!”

Najia Y.
“In one word Najia is amazing. She takes care of my 1.5 Year old golden retriever Legend when i am out of town and I am out of town alot. Legend needs 2-3 daily walks, special food and a alot of brushing through out the day. I get all these done with Najia when my little buddy is boarding with her. Before Najia, legend had serious separation anxiety but not when hes with her. I am so glad that I have someone like Najia around me to take care of my buddy boy. FYI: Legend is a 100LBS and hes still in his puppy phase. VERY GOOD BOY THOUGH !”

Emily C.
“From the day my met Emily over 20 years ago, I knew we would be life long friends. We spoke of our love for animals within weeks of knowing each other that alone shows the importance of caring and treating any animal with respect and love. How do I prove that still? Well Emily is and advocate animal rescue resource. She is working on her own rescue as i type this. She is diligent and relentless in finding caring homes. With that being said not only would I trust Emily with my own family pets, but I have. There have been countless times we have relied on her and not once has she disappointed. I get updates, pictures and communication.on how they are fairing. They are always great. She is top notch.
