“Matt took great care of our dog. Our pup never eats when he’s not with us and he ate full meals with him and had a great time. Thank you for your care Matt, you put our high energy pup at ease”

About: I have dog-sat for a variety of dogs and demeanors, from small untrained puppies, to older dogs on doggy-hospice. I consider my dogs part of my family and love getting to interact with and care for other dogs as well, knowing how importance they are. Outside of dog sitting, I also worked at a vet clinic for a couple of years helping to care for dogs after hours by letting them out, playing with them, giving them their medication and feeding them as well. I work from home full-time with plenty of opportunities for pet care and interaction. In my work-from-home office I have a comfy couch and dog bed that pets are welcome to sit on or sit with me as they please. I have a variety of door gates if my dogs need to be separated from dogs I am sitting for any reason. I have two levels in my home with dog food and water dishes available on both levels and exits to the fenced in yard (partial cement and partial grass) on both levels. I have the ability to gate each area of my home if needed to keep my dogs separate depending on the needs of dogs I am sitting. I like to snuggle and play with dogs and can let them out frequently. Sleep: We have extra dog crates if your dog prefers to be crated at bedtime like our dogs do, but they are also welcome to sleep on any of our couches or environment Stairs: While my home has stairs in and out, my lower level does allow for entry from the driveway and to the fenced in backyard without stairs - please let me know if your pet needs hip precautions and I am happy to accommodate! Pool and River: Our fenced in backyard does have an inground pool, we always supervise until we know how dogs interact with the pool. We live on a river but it is not accessible within the fenced in portion of the yard.

“Grateful and Thankful for the ability to board my dog Jasper with Kristopher and his family! Jasper stayed with them over these past two holidays for an extended period of days and was always very relaxed and calm when picked up. Jasper had the ability to spend time outdoors frequently and would go with their kids doing chores and was assimilated into their daily activities. A great sign of a good boarder is the stress free pet you come back to! Thanks Kristopher and crew for such great care!”

“My dog, Maddie, stayed with Dan for 2 days/1 night. She was happy and tired when I picked her up at the end of her stay! Dan and his wife took very good care of her and treated her like part of the family. Dan is very responsive and helpful with answering questions and he sent plenty of pictures and videos with updates on how she was doing.”

“Very knowledgeable about dogs! Communicated well. Love that out dog had lots of space to run around and play with other dogs. We will definitely use Michelle again.”

“Wow, Timothy went ABOVE and BEYOND!!! We received so many photo updates everyday. (And he got CUTE photos of my non-photogenic dog somehow haha!) He took them for a walk everyday, gave them lots of outside play time, gave us multiple updates a day, helped us load up their stuff in the car upon pickup….just greatly exceeded our expectations. HIGHLY recommend!”

“Ru was amazing! She didn't hesitate to agree to board my three month old Frenchie, and was super accommodating about last minute changes when we had a huge snag in our trip. Thanks for everything!”

“Great communication, gave a good recap of how my dog did and paid attention to his anxiety and how he didn’t seem to tolerate the heat despite walking later in the day, and cut a walk short because she was concerned by his panting.”

“We cannot say enough great things about Linda. She greeted us at the door. She welcomed us into her home. Greeted our little westie, Simon. He was there with 3 other dogs. She sent us pictures and let us know each day how Simon was doing. We r from South Carolina and went back to Michigan to visit friends. Right from the beginning, my experience with Rover was exceptional. We will definitely use Rover again. We have told our friends and family about our experience with Rover. We did leave a tip with Linda. We insisted. Again thanks to Linda and to Rover.”

“Samantha and her bf were great with Luanne! Upon meeting, they and Lu got along right away. Samantha was very kind to keep us updated on their activities and how Lu was doing. I highly recommend and will be booking with her in the future. Thank you Samantha!”

“Lauren was absolutely amazing with my 16-year-old Chihuahua, Ralph! This was his first time staying with a sitter instead of family or friends, and I couldn’t be happier with how it went. She kept me updated throughout the day with messages and photos, which really put my mind at ease. Ralph did great—even around her two much larger dogs, which was such a relief! Lauren created a calm, safe environment, and her communication was top-notch. I’m so grateful for the care she gave him and would 100% book with her again. Highly recommend!”

Emily B.
“Emily is a responsible and loving animal caregiver. She had experience caring for various pets growing up. She also worked part time at a local vet clinic in high school. Emily especially loves dogs and has two of her own. Her husband and kids also love dogs and welcome and enjoy furry friends. She watched my dog Pepper for two weeks when I was recovering from surgery and was unable to walk him, prepare his food and pill pockets, or clean up after him. He's 15 and in doggie hospice since he has a 4-inch tumor on his liver. He eats 4 times a day and his food includes canned chicken which takes time to prepare. He also has arthritis and can’t bound up the stairs like when he was young. If he tried to go upstairs, she would pick him up and carry him so he wouldn’t struggle and fall. I have lots of pictures of her holding and cuddling him. He clearly loved her and felt loved by her. We used a reputable kennel for a few years when we needed to leave Pepper. Each dog had a large kennel and their own run. If they sat by the door to their run, someone could open the door from the office. The daily rate included feeding, going out and limited interaction with teenagers. To have extra cuddle time and extra play time, there was an additional fee for that extra time. It was worth paying for it, knowing he would miss the human interaction he had at home. At Emily's because he was out and about, instead of being confined, interaction with humans was frequently available. I know our Pepper was happier in a setting that was more like home instead of being in a kennel.”
