“We had such a great experience with Matt! He watched both of our pups for over a week and did an amazing job. He sent regular updates with pictures, took them on multiple walks, and made sure they were happy and well cared for the entire time. We’ll definitely be booking with him again in the future and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, caring dog sitter!”

“Emily and her family were so great with my dog. It's very nerve racking to leave your furry baby with unknown people but Emily made me feel at ease and my dog seemed to really love her family. She sent me lots of pictures and updates.”

“Our pup was thrilled to return to Todd's and made herself right at home. It feels good knowing she is in good hands and I don't have to worry about her while we are away! Thank you, Todd, for another great boarding experience!”

“Our one year old Golden Retriever, Henry, spent a weekend with Sabrina - it was his first experience staying with a dog sitter. She was great and put our mind at ease! Very communicative and sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the weekend. We will definitely book with her again. I think Henry had so much fun playing with the other dogs!”

“Max and Mariah took great care of our two 9 month old pups over an entire 4-day holiday weekend. These puppies are high energy and were allowed to play in their fenced in yard to their heart’s content and adjusted well to their already busy household. I will definitely check with them first if ever needing boarding again.”

“Ebby loves her stays with Ed! She has the opportunity to play with other dogs and gets so much attention! Ed texted us pics of Ebby while we were gone. It is such a relief to know Ebby is in good hands when we can't have her with us.”

“She was very responsive ! Texted me updates . My dog had anxiety so she wasn’t eating a lot but they kept me updated and sent pictures. Rajah walked the dogs a lot daily too and I know they loved that”

“Great service. My dog returned home after a week stay with a big smile and a healthy appetite, and he slept hard after all that playing. I'm grateful for the peace of mind. Paige and Matthew sent regular updates and pictures to let me know my dog was having a great time while I was gone. Appreciate it 👍🏻”

“Larisa is very good with dogs. I also love that she keeps the dogs in her home. Our dog doesn't have separation anxiety but misses us terribly when we're gone. Being with a loving person really helped.”

“Susan took wonderful care of Roscoe. She was great with communication and kept me updated throughout the stay. We felt our fur baby was in good hands the whole time and I would recommend her to anyone else looking for pet care in the area.”

“Rachel was wonderful! She kept our Corgi, Barbara, for a long weekend while we were out of town. She was kind enough to set up a meet & greet with her two pups ahead of the weekend which is always so nice for peace of mind. She sent tons of cute photos of Barb while we were away, and it looked like she was having the best time. Would 10/10 book with Rachel again!”

“Jeanne went above and beyond my expectations! I had an emergency where my dog sitter dropped out while he was in their care. I contacted Jeanne with the details hoping that something could be worked out & she was very”
“Clover got the best treatment during her boarding with Caroline! She was well-loved and cared for, and updates helped us relax while we were away. Will definitely be booking again with Caroline!”

“We had our pet sitter cancel last minute. My husband discovered Rover.com and found Christina. We were so excited that she was in our neighborhood and had great reviews. I felt comfortable when I met her and the drop off process was easy. She stayed in communication the 3 days, sent pictures and updates. We will definitely be using her services in the future and will recommend her to everyone we know.”

“Katelyn was an absolute perfect fit for my dog Theo. She was very communicative about his needs and medications. She kept me updated with pictures the entire time and took him for a walk and disc golfing. Gave him a bath/brushing and even trimmed his nails :) I don't think he wants to come home after a stay like that ❤️ 100/10 best dog sitter I could have found. Thank you for everything you did ❤️”

About: I’m 23 years old and I have 2 dogs. One is 7 and the other is 1 year old. I got them both when they were puppies so I’ve had dog experience for 7 years now. I like to take them for walks daily if weather is permitting as well as play fetch. I am a CNA but I do home care so my schedule is flexible, I can work mornings or nights. I love doing Outdoor activities. I have a nice fenced in back yard for them to run around and get their energy out. So far I’ve taught my dogs how to sit, shake, dance, and high five with both paws. I want to continue to teach them more tricks. I’m sure my dogs are looking forward to having more buddies to play with!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
